Very disappointed, the food was very bland for Mediterranean. The meat and rice were dry. - Will not go back.

The restaurant wasn't completely full but that soon changed with several families coming in right after us. The restaurant is on the smaller side, clean and decorated well. We went on a Saturday night and ordered off of their special weekend menu. We definitely over ordered. There were 3 of us and we had enough leftovers for a full meal the next day. We ordered the masala cheese dosai, butter chicken, nalli gosht biryani and malai lamb chops. The nalli gosht is the goat shank biryani, we got the order for 2 people, it comes with 2 goat shanks on a mountain of fluffy fragrant basmati rice. The goat was tender falling off the bone, seasoned to perfection in a spicy masala paste/sauce. We got it at level one spice but it tasted spicer. We didn't mind because the spice just added to the flavor. It was so good! We also got the usual butter chicken which turned out to be not so usual because like everything else we tried, the spice combo and depth of flavor just turned it up several notches. The masala cheese dosai was a great start to the meal and was fun to eat with our hands. The lamb chops were a last minute addition and so worth it. The chops were cooked perfectly in a flavorful sauce and served with a veggie slaw. Overall, we LOVED everything we tried and would definitely recommend Biryani Hub. The only suggestion we have would be to serve cold water or offer ice. Our waiter brought a bottle of water to the table with glasses but the water was more room temp. Other than that, it was a great experience.

And the food only paled in comparison to the service. I'm not sure if Alvaro is the owner or related to the proprietor--it's obvious he LOVES his job, he was engaging and knowledgeable and his recommendations were spot on. He suggested the Mezze platter as our appetizer (I ended up eating it as my entire meal). He also was so animated and excited about the buttery sauce that was used in the process of making the lamb chops, we ordered both purely because he was so confident we would like them. And that is where he made his mistake--we didn't LIKE them; we LOVED them! The lamb was cooked to perfection. The appetizer platter was an explosion of flavors--and trust me, the falafel alone is worth the trip back. All too often, falafel is made with the premise that bigger is better. Falafel can taste gummy and dry if it made too large. Baladi had mastered the perfect falafel. They make them small, crunchy and flavorful. Hands down, it was my favorite. And then I tasted the babaganouush! Oh my, my, my! I didn't think the falafel had competition, but that babaganouush nearly melted in my mouth. Look for me when you visit here because Baladi is my new favorite restaurant.

I had the lamb kebabs with grilled veggies. The lamb was cooked medium-rare as I had requested & was delicious. The veggies were a nice addition. My son had the Kufta meatballs (lamb & beef with herbs). They were tasty, but terribly dry. Our service was very good & the place was filling up as we were leaving. They have a nice little "grocery" area where can select items to take home. Overall, the experience was good & id go back again!

When you enter, you order at the counter. If you are dining in, you choose where you'd like to sit, and your food is brought out on trays. They do use paper plates and plastic utensils, but again, it is fast-casual. They have a vegetarian side of the menu and then a side with meat. The only meat they offer is chicken. We got the Chicken Biryani and the Chicken Curry and garlic naan. We asked for it to be VERY mild. The flavor was all very good but I would not call it mild lol that's probably my only complaint - it was a little too spicy for me. I have been to other Indian places that offer American mild, medium, hot AND indian mild, medium, hot. I think they realize that they are able to tolerate a lot more spice! I would say my meal was probably "Indian" mild. I realize spice is subjective, and I am a wimp! They offer a variety of different drinks in their cooler and they have a filtered water station. They do not offer ice at all. Our food came out very fast but was still PIPING hot and fresh! The customer service was excellent. The gentlemen at the counter was extremely nice! During our meal one of the women from the kitchen came out to use the restroom but stopped to ask us how our meal was and to let them know if we needed anything. Very sweet people! I would absolutely recommend this place for a flavor, service, and If you like spicy!

The delivery drivers as well as their delivery trucks constantly block the road where people can't get through and will not make any effort to move out of the way. One driver today even pulled out in front of me and then had the nerve to get an attitude with me when I said something even though SHE was in the wrong. Her and another woman who was out there both made threats to me. They even went as far as to call the POLICE on ME! The officers that I spoke to told me that they are well aware of the problem and hopefully they will put a stop to the BS with these people

We first walk in, never been here before mind you, directions on our app say to just find the bin and grab it. As we we were looking for the bins the worker in question very rudely told us to get out of the way and then asked for the first bin number. My boyfriend told her the first bin number and then she walks to the back. When she comes back she just says the words 4,7,10 nothing else. My boyfriend was a bit confused and said that he had three separate orders to which she responded "didn't i give you three numbers" my boyfriend was still confused as to what he was doing with these numbers before she very rudely yelled "bin 4 7 and 10" while flaying her arms around and rolling her eyes. At this point I was done with the situation and was lowkey just trying not to start any further altercation. After looking in all the bins my boyfriend told her that bin 10 was empty and she responded saying "Its right there infront of you" again with such a nasty tone. At this point the other lady who was working in the warehouse finally used her words and told us that the order sitting on the cart was the whole order. Wow!! It would've been great to know that situation instead of just being yelled "bin 4, 7, 10" All in all these workers need to watch who they speak to before they meet the wrong one.
