The rice part was fine. My son-in-law decided to try the fried catfish I had been considering. While cooked well and had good flavor, the batter was not the expected cornmeal style normally associated with fried catfish. They were also out of the particular beer he had been wanting to try. After multiple attempts to pick one from the menu, the server said it might be easier to show you what we do have on tap. Service on this visit also left a lot to be desired. From the delay taking the order, having to flag a server down for drink refills and even to get the check. It was not busy enough to cause the service we received. We had been before with my daughter and wife and had a much better experience. So I am not sure if things have gone downhill or just an anomaly.
