    Quality of work was poor. Had to take the car back three times to get the bumper replaced, for a…read moresmall scratch on the bumper. Bumper was not aligned properly and a bracket had to be ordered to place it correctly, even though the bumper was OEM. Had to make several calls to reach Travis for follow ups. He never called back like he said he would. Had to follow up with other individuals instead of my direct service rep Travis. When picking up my car, the was returned to me filthy and dirty. Had to get the car washed twice in order to remove the heavy spots left on my car. Very inconsiderate and rude.

I had a rear end collisions. And needed a repair shop. I have frequented the Yorba Linda area few times and remembered seeing fix auto. Thought to give it a try. It worked out with they were already a AAA partner. I was assigned to Travis. I setup and appointment for march 31 and went there promptly, Travis seemed decent, he created an estimate, told me it will likely change once the damaged bumper was removed and I was on my way. Didn't hear him for a few days, called him up to ask for an update. He said there were more issues, I was like, cool, please share the estimate and photos. Travis's response was "I will share photos if I can". Little weird, didn't pay much attention to it and let it be. Few hours later got an email with photos and the new estimate. All good and merry. Now I am waiting for April 16, the estimated date of completion. I am getting regular messages and updates that work is progressing along well and we are on track. April 15th, I reach out to get an update. And this is where it got weird for me. First I sent a message, no reply for sometime, so I called. I was told Travis is busy and he'll call back. I fully understand and I am expecting a call back. An hour later I am getting a message which has been the weirdest message. This is the actual text (attached photo) "Yes we are but that may change anytime for various unforeseen challenges or set backs. When we're done and ready to have you pick it up, we'll call you immediately. Trying to plan ahead for a specific time, when it's still in process, only causes anxiety for all of us and not very proffesional.". I would get it if I was messaging him everyday for an update or pestering him. This honestly was my first message after the revised estimate 2 weeks ago. I am not even sure how to unpack this message. Few things it made me feel. A) Travis is doing me a favor, he is going out of the way to fix my car. B) it annoyed Travis to give a simple update. Saying it's on track for pickup tomorrow, I'll let you know if things change is beyond him. He had to put me in my place on how did I ask him when the car would be ready. According to him, it obviously will be ready when it gets ready. Until then everyone should hold their peace. C) this is the funniest, planning ahead creates anxiety for everyone and it's not professional. Since when planning ahead is unprofessional. You plan ahead to reduce anxiety. D) Unexpected and unforeseen circumstances, as if a hurricane is on the way, when you are doing something for 20 years, a bumper replacement shouldn't not be unexpected or unforeseen. Even if there is something unexpected, shouldn't an experienced professional plan for it in the estimate??! The message baffled me, probably according to Travis, it's okay for a client to be anxious on when the vehicle will be ready or not, but he shouldn't be anxious as it's unprofessional when the only professional is him. Asking when my vehicle would be ready, should not annoy you when you are in a customer facing position. Forwarding to today, 16th April. The portal shows car will be ready by 2pm. I hear nothing the entire morning. Finally at 1:50pm, I message Travis at risk of annoying him if it's ready or not. No reply for few hours, until 4pm when I got a call from him to pick up the car. Went there, picked up the car, the repair looks decent, not noticing any issues or anything. Asked Travis if frame was okay, he says it was measured and saw no issues. Asked for a print, and he comes back with that frame wasn't measured. Additionally I need "final vehicle appraisal" to file for insurance claim, didn't know it's the final bill of repairs, that annoyed Travis too and I got educated real fast. Overall, the repair seems decent. Would I go here again, no. As a paying customer, the least I expect to know when can I expect my car to be ready without ego and attitude. Done with my rant!!
