Credit where credit is due. These guys are amazing. Transparency- I had some work that my Miata needed and they were the only dealership that was transparent with their pricing (I called several and a lot of dealerships wouldn't even confirm if the inspection would go towards the repair work) once the work was completed not only was it around what I thought it was going to be but there were no hidden fees or anything else of that nature. Staff- everyone here is incredibly kind, welcoming, helpful, and pleasant. I've had multiple interactions here and each time the entire team has gone above and beyond to take care of me. Special mention: I really like the video recording inspections they send you. Once the technician has assessed the work needed they send you a video where they explain everything that is needed today alongside recommendations for the future. It's low pressure and allows the client to decide what to prioritize with their repairs. Also of special note I had a recall repair here as well and no one tried to upsell me or and get me to do extra things and the work was completed in a few hours on a day that they were slammed busy. read more

I bought a new 2024 Mazda 3 from this dealership last year, and I was so happy with the experience that I was planning on bringing it back here for the first (5,000 mile) service. The service department squared away a problem with the cars temporary plates right after I bought it, so I didn't expect to have any concerns when it came time to get the car serviced. Unfortunately, I didn't reckon with the ridiculous level of automated reminders this service department uses to try to get customers to make appointments. After I had only about 2,000 miles on my new car, they started reaching out to me via phone, email, and txt. The 1st couple of times I ignored the reminders, then I contacted the sender(s) and ask them to stop sending reminders. My requests were completely ignored, even when I unsubscribed from every one of their marketing lists I could find. When I got to 3,500 miles (still 1,500 short of the point I actually needed service on my car) I had received no less than half a dozen each (txt, phone calls, and emails) reminding me to make an appointment for that 5k service. Who on Earth would do business with an organization that pays zero atttention to customer requests to be left alone? Certainly not me - when the actual time came to get my car serviced, I went to a different dealership; I'll never do business with this service department again! read more

I purchased my Mazda 3 from Tuttle Click Mazda in 2016, and from the very beginning the infotainment unit has not worked properly--the touch screen does not respond at all. Despite keeping the software updated and having an extended warranty that should cover this issue, Tuttle Click's repair department has repeatedly refused to honor the warranty or replace the malfunctioning unit. Over the years, I've had multiple conversations with their repair staff, but the outcome has always been the same: no resolution, no accountability, and no genuine effort to fix the problem. Their refusal to stand by their warranty is both frustrating and disingenuous. Because of this experience, I will never purchase another vehicle from Tuttle Click, nor will I bring my car here for service again. I had a problem with my brand new CX90 PHEV that took 15 days to fix. The service team tried to take care of me as a customer but failed. Robert the service manager took over after a bunch of miscues and eventually worked it out. I've tried to contact the general manager on numerous occasions and was told he would call me (twice) but at this point I don't think he exists. He's listed on the website but can't take time out of his day to contact customers that have major issues with the dealership. I don't see the point of listing him on the website if he's never able to work. I probably won't be a returning customer because of this once my lease is up. I've had my Mazda CX30 for 8500 miles. The service department is OUTSTANDING!!! Rodrigo, in particular, is FABULOUS! He attends to my questions re the car and takes care of everything. The other day my tire pressure was low (it showed up on the screen). I drove into service . They immediately took the car to the back to fill up the tire. Unfortunately there was a screw in the side top edge of the tire so the tire couldn't be fixed. They gave me a price. I called around to tire places. I do not recommend using this dealer for service, go to Mazda Orange instead (or better yet, avoid the issues altogether and do not get a Mazda). Their service advisor manager yelled at my daughter and I, convinced us to allow them to do work on our car by lying about how dangerous it would be left undone and lying about the cost, damaged the car even more and then completely denied the occurrence after the fact. Mazda corporate agreed they were problematic and refunded us for fees Mazda Irvine service caused us to incur. In general, the Mazda company has little concern for their customers. Edited to respond to Shirley D. - I tried to contact the dealership about this multiple times. I repeatedly asked for the general manager's contact information and it was never provided to me. When I called and asked for him, I was always routed to the problematic employee who would not help me. There's also no contact information for the general manager on the dealership website. Don't do it. Go to Tustin Mazda instead. I had Tuttle Click perform an oil change in January 2023.. 400 miles later, my low oil level light came on and it started to leak oil underneath the car. I popped the car up in the middle of the night (as I needed to get to work the next day) and the oil filter had come loose. How could they botch a simple service? I ended up buying oil, a new filter and doing it myself.. after paying them $100 for the service. I also have to deal with my stained driveway. No response from Tuttle Click. read more

This is a long story so bear with me. I think everyone who is looking to get their Mazda serviced, go find another place to have it done. My car needs to have it's console screen replaced (manufacturer's warranty covers it, so that's why I've had to stick this out). I called requesting information, was told I'd have a call back in a few hours. Nothing. I waited a few days giving them the benefit of the doubt but heard nothing so I called back. Once again, I'll get a call back with info. Surprise! A week goes by and no call back. I call, and finally get to talk to a person who can answer my questions. He assures me that he has put in an order for the part needed and we make an appointment for 3 weeks later to give the part enough time to get shipped. Skip forward to appointment day. I have to take time out of work, make sure that I get my kids taken care for the time I'm out of the house, and travel time - it takes 40 minutes from my house to get to the service station. I show up and when the guy asks me why I'm there I get that first feeling of dread. He was very friendly, but ultimately, it is told that the part was never ordered, is not in stock and I have taken this time out of my day... to get them to order the part I was promised was already ordered. When will the part be in? *shrug*. "We'll order the part and give you a call when it's in." Over 2 hours of my life, because no one looks at what appointments are for and doubled checked about whether the whole reason I was there in the first place was actually available. I am rightfully unhappy about this, but before putting in any bad reviews, I wrote to the service manager. He was apologetic, and said that the issue was with the original guy - they can't put in orders without eyes on the problem. IF I had been told that, I could have just swung by when I was in the area or on my lunch break to get that done. But it wasn't. He assured me that the order is in, and I will get a call when it has arrived. I should not be surprised that here, almost a month after that interaction, I have received NO word or had any updates. I called the service department. First time, no one answers (this is at 11am, btw, so not like a random hour). I call half an hour later, and finally get to talk to a person in parts. MY PART IS IN. "I'm surprised no one called you to let you know" the parts guy says. All I can reply is a weak, "I'm actually not shocked at all." Then I was transferred back to service to make an appointment and GO FIGURE NO ONE PICKED UP THE PHONE. Ok, surprisingly I did actually get a call back! Appointment scheduled! When I brought my car in to the appointment I once again had that bubble of fear when the service tech had to go check if the part was in. Thank goodness I had the initiative to call first. I was then assured that the car would be completed that night. I did say it's not a huge rush but was again assured it would be done that day. So no call that day. Or the next day. Half way through the third day I got .. a text .. that my car was ready. Ok it wasn't a huge deal that the car was out that long but basic customer service would have been to make a 2 minute call and let me know the first day it was going to take longer than first estimated. Or maybe even the second day. But you know, I'm not shocked by this at this point. I wish, wish, wish that I could have gone to any other mechanic to have this dealt with but it's well over $600 to replace the screen outside of the warranty. If you've read this far, thanks. It's really cathartic to get this frustration out. Everyone is pleasant to deal with at face value, but that's about the only positive I can give this place. I saw an article that Mazda is giving free oil changes to healthcare providers even if your car is not a Mazda! Why? They want to show their appreciation those serving the frontline during this pandemic. ---Zoom Zoom? So I called them and I asked if it was real! They said yes! Just made an appointment! Zoom Zoom, I will have an oil change! The appointment was easy to make. The phone call was very simple. I arrived at the service dept. Immediately greeted by their staff using their safe protocols with masks. There are blue tape in the service area that marked 6ft distance, and I alot of friendly reminders to keep a safe distance. I felt so honored with this free service from Mazda. At this location they also have Starbucks coffee and plenty of snacks! All complimentary. Thank You because I run on coffee. This location is getting a remodel at this time. It looks beautiful already but it will be even more gorgeous! The staff here is very friendly. I've own a Mazda in the past. With the service and appreciation they have provided. It looks like I will consider a Mazda car in the future. Thank You Mazda for being open. You guys are also essentials during this time! Shirley, in response to my review yesterday, I did not use profane or abusive language, I was upset because they hadn't washed my car after the service because they said there was a chip in my windshield. I had that chip repaired two years ago and you have washed it every time I've come in for service. The video from the service technician who did my service specifically said there are NO chips or cracks in the windshield.. (View the video and see what the technician said about my windshield yesterday). I asked Wyatt the service advisor why they didn't wash my car and I was told it was because there's a chip in the Windshield. I told him that was bonded and repaired and I said, can you please just wash my freaking car. Those were my words, and he said "Don't curse at me, or I can't give you service.!" he then turned around and ran into Robert's office and told him. I did not curse or use profanity! You're saying I was compensated for a car wash and I'm telling you that the manager gave me a gift card to a Car Wash that had zero dollars on it! Pleasantly surprised with my experience! I came in with my 2016 Mazda3 for the 30k mile check-up and was helped by Aaron upon arrival. Aaron was very informative and attentive to my concerns. He made it clear about the costs and time it would take to service my car and was kind enough to explain and show all the areas I could wait at while my car got serviced. Aaron continued to be exceptionally helpful even when I went to pay and dropped my card in a not so accessible spot LOL way to be innovative! I was there 4 months ago. The service department said I needed a fifth battery for my Mazda CX-5 in 3 years. They said the previous 3 replacement batteries were not rated for this car. They said the $400 battery from the dealership would take care of the problem. I told them something was draining the battery. They found "nothing". The 4 month old battery is now dead. These guys are pretty friendly and that's half the battle imo. I've taken my car here a few times for safety recalls and they always go above and beyond by washing my car and doing an assessment for upcoming maintenance. This past time they even texted me a video walkthrough and digital approval for maintenance suggestions, which I really appreciated as someone who works 9-5 most days. There was an issue with the parts mazda sent these guys for my most recent safety recall but it's not this dealership's fault. I had to wait 2 extra days but they were quite apologetic about the situation and provided me with complimentary lyft rides to and from my home. All in all, I'd come back for more service here if the situation called for it. read more

Where do I start with positive things to say First, Tuttle-Click Mazda service were able to schedule a very fast appointment, and then changed it when I needed. Though I arrived early, a service agent came out to meet me almost immediately. He documented my concerns and later in the day contacted me with a video inspection and estimate to do the work I had requested. They also showed me my brakes and battery were near replacement levels, but didn't pressure me on either. (I decided to replace both and was actually pleasantly surprised by pricing.) They sent me text estimates for approval of every item and invoices I could easily pay online. My service agent, Matt, was super communicative, flexible and helpful with my off-hours drop off and pick up needs. Because they had to order a part, I had to drop off and pick up my car a second time, off-hours. No one loves car repairs, but Matt and Tuttle-Click made it high-tech, simple and a pretty pleasant experience. read more

Service management was not willing to right their wrong. The first time I brought my Mazda van here was to have my glitchy remote key fob looked at. The service was great - the service rep replaced the battery in the fob at no cost and welcomed me to come back if there were any further issues. The remote ended up needing replacement so I decided to come back for a new one. These guys are about 20 minutes away from me but because of my good first experience, I decided to stick with them instead of a another dealer that is only 5 minutes away. Made an appointment for a following morning and showed up to wait for the replacement to be made. Waited an hour and then the service rep told me that they had ordered the wrong key because nobody bothered to get the VIN# of my van. But they could order it and have it ready the next day. This was obviously not good news because I took time off of work for this appointment and was not happy about losing that time and money. I said I could come back and asked for a discount on the key because of the time and money I had just wasted on their mistake. My service rep Matt was nice enough, but his hands were tied. Both the service and parts managers, Travis and Daniel refused to help make this right. This is really surprising from a dealership who prides themselves on their customer service. I am a small business owner and happy customers are THE most important thing to me. If I make a mistake that leads to an unhappy customer, it is made right and then some. I will start off by saying I have always for the past 8 years been coming to the service center here for my vehicles that I purchased from this location. I have driven Tuttle Click Mazda vehicles for 8 years now. The service department used to be run very well and they were always attentive. This has changed over the last year. I'm not sure if it is a change in management or just the under staffing. My previous service appointment I was turned away even though I had made an appointment two weeks or so in advance and was told to come back a different day. I was even early to my appointment time and I was not given the consideration to be given a courtesy call that they could not see me. I drove 20 mins and took time out of my day for an appointment that was well known in advance of my appointment time that it would not happen. Yet I was not even considered for a call to let know they were backed up. I understand staffing shortages and work getting back logged yet they could not understand my time is important too. I had to reschedule to a different day and on that day when I came I was forced to leave my car for the whole day and I was rushed around even though I was here in the early morning when they opened and this was by the service manager. My car was given back to me at the end of the day and I had to refill my wiper fluid a month later. Part of the service is a full inspection and they take care of something like wiper fluid. This was not taken care of because my fluid had to be refilled with TWO GALLONS of wiper fluid. So it was completely out a month later. This brings me to my appointment time today. I am sitting in the waiting room writing this review. My appointment was at 12:30 pm. I arrived at 12:25 and was told it would take until closing at 3:30 for them to finish my oil change. And since there is a well known recall for a part on my car they would have to keep the car overnight. 1) the service department is CLOSED Sunday. So they would keep my car until Monday with NO courtesy vehicle. 2) after explaining I would just reschedule then for the recall I was told no they had to do it because it is a safety concern. IF IT IS A SAFETY CONCERN call me ahead of time to let me know that it will take longer. I was told mazda would question if I did not get the recall done when I took it on for an oil change. I told the service advisor I would be more then happy to explain to Mazda why my recall repair was not done. Then I was told they would try to RUSH MY CAR. This is beyond absurd. What is the true absolute kicker is that I learned my lesson from last time and called TWO times at 9 am before my appointment today to only go to voicemail. I let the service advisor know this and was told they had a busy morning. I have no empathy for this type of issue. I don't know what to even recommend to fix this issue. I don't blame the advisor I blame management. Which is why I will omit his name from this review. I am writing this review as a documentation of everything of my current appointment in the service department since I was told my car would be rushed regarding the recall that is a safety concern. Now I don't trust this place for servicing my vehicles and am even going to have to open my hood to see if things were done accordingly. read more
