My boyfriend and I decided to hire OC house cleaning for a last minute deep cleaning of our place. The owner was very quick with booking, and he was quite responsive. Side note: I booked my cleaning two days in advance. The guys showed up a bit late, however they did a pretty good job. Received a call at about the time the cleaners were supposed to be at my condo... they couldn't send a team to do the deep cleaning of my condo as contracted. Jozef texted that 1 person would be here (unspecific time) to clean all day. It was already 11am... meaning the cleaning would take into the night for 1 person. I requested a discount from Jozef for the inconvenience of this last minute change to his company's service and having to change my evening dinner plans. He refused to listen and would not even recognize he created a problem. I canceled the service immediately. So happy I called OC House Cleaning! Martina and Tommy were amazing and worked tirelessly to clean our newly purchased house before we moved in. The previous tenants had left the drawers and cabinets filthy and after Tommy and Martina got to them they're spotless. On Time - reliable (other vendors didn't show up due to late from other place. We cleared our stuff. ) Showed up on time twice, once was 15min but because it was the first time, hard to find my front door Safety - Staff is always respectable and considerate. Team size - Usually comes in team of 2 ppl. Payment - I paid in cash but I think they take a lot of other forms of payment Quality - the cleaning crew takes pride of their work. The business owner here is a joke. Don't waste your time with this business. He takes 0 accountability for his mistake and tries to blame you for everything. He'll find every way to turn the blame away from himself. I texted him exactly what I wanted and even my housemate told the cleaners what to do. He later then proceeds to argue with me saying my housemate told them to only clean 2 bathrooms. (So if they were told to clean ONLY 2 bathrooms why did they "sweep" in my garage"???) They only cleaned 2 bathrooms that were already in good condition but the owner said it took his cleaners an hour and a half to clean 1 bathroom... he calls me and tells me I have to pay more if I want them to clean again this business is a scam. Also he texted me saying my toilet was clogged while they were cleaning and they didn't even bother to use the toilet plunger and left my toilet overfilled . I really wanted to give them a 1 star rating, but because the owner was so responsive while setting up an appointment, I decided to give 2 stars. The duo that came to clean my house was very unprofessional. They FORGOT to clean one of my bathrooms HALF WAY and were about to leave until I told them it wasn't finished. And I don't know what they cleaned the bathrooms with but it smelled a little fishy??? and it didn't before. I had to air out everything and spray stuff to make the smell go away. The thing that got me the most though, was that I don't even think they cleaned my living room. My dog pooped in my living room floor and because it was less than an hour from them coming to clean, I just left it. After they left, I went down to the living room and found the poop EXACTLY where I saw it earlier. Did they not see it? Did they clean AROUND the poop? It doesn't make sense at all. I will NEVER use OC Cleaning again. I just wasted 200$. read more

Pros: - Owner was very responsive and efficient with responses, was able to easily communicate and schedule a cleaning - reasonable rates - team did great job cleaning the areas they finished Cons: - overbooked themselves at the expense of the customer: they had to clean 1 br / 1 ba / living room area / kitchen but they did not leave enough time to finish the job. I've never had a cleaning service finish 2/3rds of the job. They did not have enough time to clean the stovetop / microwave / half of my kitchen counters .. which is mainly why I hired a cleaning service as I'm not good at getting those things squeaky clean. They had to rush out the door and go to their next appointment so they weren't able to stay and finish up my kitchen. I have family visiting for the holidays so that is why I needed my home extra clean. I ended up doing the rest myself as I wasn't going to hire another cleaning service for $90+ just to do half of my (tiny) kitchen. I understand that my home is not the only stop of the day but you guys need to allocate a little extra time until the next cleaning job. You may clean 10 homes a day but at the end of the day if the customer is not happy with the results you won't get hired for the next job.. my point is quality over quantity. Overall, I would have been extremely satisfied with them if everything was finished. I am quite understanding of the cleaning crew's position having to rush to their next appointment but it isn't that they missed a spot or something minor.. this was a pretty important part of the cleaning job. I just want to add that I still do recommend them because they did a good job in the areas they got to work on, but just make sure they allocate enough time to finish the job. read more

I received cleaning on my house for the first time last week. Jozef sent two people from his team to clean my house. I had a problem with other cleaners (from other companies) breaking things or rushing through the job or ruining my floors. The team at OC Cleaning did a very thorough job of my kitchen and bathrooms which needed it the most. They got areas that other cleaners had missed. I have a baby and a toddler so it was really nice that they used natural cleaning products. I didn't need to turn my fans on for hours or smell any harsh chemicals. Most importantly the owner Jozef is one of the most honest business owners I've ever met. My dishwasher broke and he himself came to see what the problem was and helped me find someone to fix it. Even though it ended up being just a mechanical problem and not a problem caused by his team, he still went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. He definitely did not need to do this. Due to an emergency we had to schedule their 'Deep Cleaning' service at our home on a very short time frame. They were able to fit us into their schedule during our emergency on only a day or two notice during the holidays. Two young men showed up and worked for approximately 5 and a half hours and did a fantastic job. Our house had not been professionally cleaned in many years, and if there was ever something that we wanted them to focus on or really make sure to be extra thorough on, they were more than willing to oblige. They were more expensive than others but I gave them a try. The said they would keep the same people cleaning and the same schedule, but in less than 3 months they made changes to either the schedule or the people 6 times, often last minute. The different people cleaning were wildly inconsistent, some were really bad, others were okay. Ultimately, I had to drop them bc they did not honor their commitments, and tried to double talk me by sidestepping around what they agreed to and saying they expected me to be flexible with last minute changes, which I could only accommodate if I quit my job. That shouldn't have to be explained to a company if they tried to understand their clients. Update: even in the owner's response they demonstrate they won't acknowledge commitments and want to distort the problem. They committed to keep the same cleaners and the same day. I was never inflexible on the time of day, I was happy to accommodate a time range as I have done with others. But they switched days or switched cleaners on me 6 times in a few months and did so with little or no warning. The truth is the last time they tried to switch cleaners it was because they got a bigger house to clean that wanted the same day as the day as me, so they just dropped me for the other house and told me I had to switch cleaners or days once again. After so many changes in such a short time, I gave them the boot. Don't believe the fictitious stats in the response, they will shuffle things around, often at the last minute, not caring that their customers commitments too and don't want have to train new people all the time (they shouldn't even need training). read more
