    This is what I got

Heard great things about this place including the chef. Today I placed an oder of the grilled octopus to go for the first time and was very disappointed When I got home. It was supposed to have broccoli rabe instead had dry broccol. It looked nothing like the picture on their website, and doesn't look like it was even prepared by a chef Very disappointing for my first time ordering there.

I was surprised at how few people were here. It made me feel as if they all knew something I did not. The service was pleasant. The interior is nice, bar area has exposed beams, very cool look. We sat outside. One thing I thought was odd was the curled place mats they put down on our table. They reminded me of the cheap plastic ones my grandparents would use when I was a kid. The menu was different than the one online. There were just a few things that made me and my friend look at eachother like, 'what?' I wasn't blown away by the food however it wasn't terrible. Interesting! That's how I'll summarize.

Haven't been here in so long decided to give it a try. Sunday early evening just one other couple here. Started by splitting a Beet Salad which turned out well but needed a sprinkle of olive oil and some salt to moist it up a bit. The olive oil on the table was good but the bread was better. Need salt and pepper on the table. My dining partner had a special of night: Shortribs over mashed potatoes and carrots. The piece of meat was huge and cooked properly proved by falling off the bone. It was declared very good. My Tagliatelle Bolognese was good and filling. The Pinot Noir was a good pour. Homemade Tiramisu was def homemade and huge. Good service. Will go back for Happy Hour.

I really want to give 3.5 stars but can't. Came here because of a restaurant.com coupon I had and would probably return. First off they give small garlic chunks of bread with what I think is a roasted red pepper dipping sauce. The bread was cold and hard and could've been flavored more (wasn't a fan). However we then got our appetizer - mussels fra Diablo and these were really good. It's a pound of mussels and comes with 2 pieces of crostini (wish this was the bread we got served at first). Delicious Then for entrees we got the spaghetti carbonara (with shrimp added) and the pan seared salmon. We both liked our entrees except I wish my salmon was larger as it was good and I was looking for more after I was done. The salmon came with garlic mashed (more like black pepper mash) and green beans. The spaghetti came with 3 jumbo shrimps my husband enjoyed it and took his leftovers home. Still being hungry (me) we got the three chocolate mousse dessert to share. It was delicious and wish it had more of the fresh raspberries to eat with it. The restaurant itself seems like it has an identity crisis. The menu is clearly leaning towards Italian and the columns in the middle of the restaurant go with that theme but then the rest is metal work, odd pictures of horse jockeys and ladies. Also the napkins were these weird purple and blue PAPER napkins. Just odd. The restaurants look I would give 2 stars. Also there is only one chef, one pizza chef, one waitress and one bartender. Could definitely see this being an issue If they were busy. For a Friday at 7 it wasn't very busy so maybe this works for them. Waitress seemed knowledgeable of the entire menu and wine list. There is a good amount of space, especially outside but it was too cold for that. We most likely would return when the weather is nice to sit outside. One stall bathrooms so don't hold it if you gotta go! Prices were a little steep for portions I feel like but at same time wasn't stuffed and it was good. So I don't mind paying more money as long as it's good.

Came here for dinner last night for the first time, and I have to say I was impressed! Their chef is from Italy, and you can tell with the authenticity of the food. The bolognese was perfect, and I really enjoyed the thick layer of mozzarella on the "Italy" Neapolitan style pizza. We chose the trio di formaggi for our appetizer, and all of the cheeses were so tasty. I thought the blueberries and pears were a great pairing. My boyfriend loved his cocktail, and we ended the night with some great cannoli. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Ambience doesnt count, its still a takeout place. But the rest of that review stated that other than an 'oops' on the pizza toppings, everything else was...ok. This time? Total flop. Tried some different stuff this time. The philly cheesesteak grinder was the most edible, but dry, with stuff on one half, but only partially on the other half. The roll was the best part, something I mentioned in my previous review. The cheese ravioli? Guess we would call that a 'wtf'. The frozen ravioli I make myself ,with a jar of Francesco Rinalde in a pinch, embarrasses this. Isn't there supposed to be cheese in cheese ravioli? These things were strangely missing the ricotta. Also grabbed a dry eggplant florentine with a nice bland sauce. I don't recall the sauce here being... underwhelming, but this time... yah...underwhelming works. The Italian grandma with the big wooden spoon has left the building. Prices are still low in comparison to say, Vito's down the road, but keeping your prices down by buying cheap ingredients isn't the way to do it. Perhaps the owners should take any money they are saving on ravioli's and buy a salt and pepper shaker to start, might help. Am I presuming the almost five stars is based on the Yelp reviews of yore? I gave em a four last time!! Try again folks.

I love lemon on mine, and it came with this addictive sour spicy mayo dip- top notch sauce - Meatballs, (4/5): tasted pretty standard- not too dry and very beefy with acidic tomato to cut through the meat - Chicken tenders, (4.5/5): surprisingly very good - very juicy with crackly batter and had a great dipping sauce - Small Calabrese Apizza, (5/5): wow! this pizza is sooo light and airy. I am not a big crust person, but I ate the whole slice. the dough is so chewy, the pizza itself was flavorful and light. the waiter recommended us to get a small since we got appetizers... but tbh the 2 of us could've tackled a bigger pie as certified big backs Very happy to have tried Sally's!

We placed orders for 12 of us over the phone today, we went to pick up the goods around an hour later. I got their Italian Sandwich this time. Previously I've had several of the salads. I think collectively my office has had their entire menu. From sandwiches, to salads, to pizzas, to lasagna and more. Every single meal has always been super fresh, where all you can hear is "mmmmmMmmmms..." My lunch was served on a freshly baked Italian hoagie roll, filled with roasted peppers, ham, tomatoes, mixed greens, capicola and provolone cheese. In addition to each and every single ingredient being super fresh, this was also a very large portion. I could have easily shared the other half with someone else, had it on another day or ate it right after the first portion... which one did I do?
