    This is what I got

Heard great things about this place including the chef. Today I placed an oder of the grilled octopus to go for the first time and was very disappointed When I got home. It was supposed to have broccoli rabe instead had dry broccol. It looked nothing like the picture on their website, and doesn't look like it was even prepared by a chef Very disappointing for my first time ordering there.

I was surprised at how few people were here. It made me feel as if they all knew something I did not. The service was pleasant. The interior is nice, bar area has exposed beams, very cool look. We sat outside. One thing I thought was odd was the curled place mats they put down on our table. They reminded me of the cheap plastic ones my grandparents would use when I was a kid. The menu was different than the one online. There were just a few things that made me and my friend look at eachother like, 'what?' I wasn't blown away by the food however it wasn't terrible. Interesting! That's how I'll summarize.

Haven't been here in so long decided to give it a try. Sunday early evening just one other couple here. Started by splitting a Beet Salad which turned out well but needed a sprinkle of olive oil and some salt to moist it up a bit. The olive oil on the table was good but the bread was better. Need salt and pepper on the table. My dining partner had a special of night: Shortribs over mashed potatoes and carrots. The piece of meat was huge and cooked properly proved by falling off the bone. It was declared very good. My Tagliatelle Bolognese was good and filling. The Pinot Noir was a good pour. Homemade Tiramisu was def homemade and huge. Good service. Will go back for Happy Hour.

I really want to give 3.5 stars but can't. Came here because of a restaurant.com coupon I had and would probably return. First off they give small garlic chunks of bread with what I think is a roasted red pepper dipping sauce. The bread was cold and hard and could've been flavored more (wasn't a fan). However we then got our appetizer - mussels fra Diablo and these were really good. It's a pound of mussels and comes with 2 pieces of crostini (wish this was the bread we got served at first). Delicious Then for entrees we got the spaghetti carbonara (with shrimp added) and the pan seared salmon. We both liked our entrees except I wish my salmon was larger as it was good and I was looking for more after I was done. The salmon came with garlic mashed (more like black pepper mash) and green beans. The spaghetti came with 3 jumbo shrimps my husband enjoyed it and took his leftovers home. Still being hungry (me) we got the three chocolate mousse dessert to share. It was delicious and wish it had more of the fresh raspberries to eat with it. The restaurant itself seems like it has an identity crisis. The menu is clearly leaning towards Italian and the columns in the middle of the restaurant go with that theme but then the rest is metal work, odd pictures of horse jockeys and ladies. Also the napkins were these weird purple and blue PAPER napkins. Just odd. The restaurants look I would give 2 stars. Also there is only one chef, one pizza chef, one waitress and one bartender. Could definitely see this being an issue If they were busy. For a Friday at 7 it wasn't very busy so maybe this works for them. Waitress seemed knowledgeable of the entire menu and wine list. There is a good amount of space, especially outside but it was too cold for that. We most likely would return when the weather is nice to sit outside. One stall bathrooms so don't hold it if you gotta go! Prices were a little steep for portions I feel like but at same time wasn't stuffed and it was good. So I don't mind paying more money as long as it's good.

Came here for dinner last night for the first time, and I have to say I was impressed! Their chef is from Italy, and you can tell with the authenticity of the food. The bolognese was perfect, and I really enjoyed the thick layer of mozzarella on the "Italy" Neapolitan style pizza. We chose the trio di formaggi for our appetizer, and all of the cheeses were so tasty. I thought the blueberries and pears were a great pairing. My boyfriend loved his cocktail, and we ended the night with some great cannoli. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Great place for happy hour and the food is awesome too. They will substitute food items for you. Ask for Darrel as your waiter.

"The church the school the clubhouse The million lights I…read moresee But especially the people That's America to me" (Frank Sinatra) I went into my windup, fired a 28 MPH fastball, and struck out three zombies! No, I wasn't tripping on Psilocybin mushrooms, but I was playing baseball on one of the sports simulators at the Clubhouse on Main. You see, when you play their baseball game you can choose your opposing team (I couldn't resist competing against Team Zombie), choose your stadium, and choose a few other variables. Last night, a professional organization I belong to hosted a game night charity fundraiser here, and we had a blast. We played simulated baseball, golf, and hockey, threw axes and darts, had some great food, and overall had a sensational time. Clubhouse catered our food with platters of wings, quesadillas, salads, nachos and sliders. The food was plentiful and quite good. The space is huge and also has pool tables, video games, karaoke, Pop-A-Shot basketball games, a full bar and quite a few big flat screen TVs on the wall. I chatted with a couple who watched the Super Bowl here and told me the place was mobbed. Definitely a cool place to hang out or host a party. Oh, and best of all, I ran into fellow Elite Yelper Jen H while I was here! PRO TIP The bar isn't cheap, a Margarita I bought for a friend cost $14. They do have a Happy Hour where things are mightily discounted.

"She is dearer by far Than the world's brightest star,…read moreAnd I call her my wild Irish Rose" (The Mills Brothers) How many local bands do you follow? We follow three -Jake Kulak and the Modern Vandals, Suburban Escape Plan, and Intergalactic Kegger, and have seen all three at least half a dozen times. So, when we learned that Intergalactic Kegger was playing at the Irish American Home Society, we made plans to join a bunch of friends there. You need to be a member, or know a member to get in, and there is a checkpoint at the door where you are asked about membership status. We aren't members, but we know one of the guys in the band and his wife are, so we signed in as their guests and paid the $5 non-member cover charge. I could not believe how PACKED the downstairs bar area was. Yes, it was a Friday night, but it was only 6:15 or so, but it was so crowded it was hard to walk through the throng and even more difficult to find a few open tables. Once we settled down and claimed a space to sit, we walked over to the bar and, of course, had to order a cold perfectly poured Guiness. The bartender was a pro and poured it in two stages to minimize the foam and fill the glass with as many milliliters of that great Irish Stout as humanly possible. The ambience in the downstairs space was fantastic. We saw families with children, a young couple playing darts, and hundreds of fun-loving people of all ages dancing and having a grand old time. We interacted with a few customers when it came time to move around a few tables and chairs, and everyone was as friendly and cooperative as could be. There was food service last night, provided by Glastonbury's Tenth Hole Tavern. To order, we walked over to a counter to the right of the bar, and chose among a cup of chili, order of wings, shrimp tacos, a hot dog, and three sandwiches. Payment can be made by cash or Venmo. We ordered Shrimp Tacos ($16), a Pulled Pork Sandwich ($15), and a basket of fries ($7). My tacos were great- three big ones with a sweet chili panko crust, shredded cabbage, and pico on flour tortillas. I've had skimpier portions in a lot of restaurants for the same price. And yes, they sure paired well with that cold smooth Guiness. The sound system was great, and at a reasonable volume so we could enjoy the music and still have conversations at our table. What a fun experience!
