Terrible wine selection. I saw a total of 2 types of rosé. More of a corner market than liquor store.

Great owners been coming here since before they owned it. A bit pricey for stuff but it's a a good last min pick up stuff place.

5 stars for the vibes, service ease of parking!!!…read more Love good food tucked away in a convenience store. Unassuming and here for the people. Torta- love the black bean spread! Torpedo- great sauce here as well. The bread is overall delicious, however as many sandwich shops struggle the fillings stop before the end of the bread, nice pile in the center but for the price and the science of sandwich's please go all the way to the side. Glad I made the hour plus drive for it but it does not call me back.

My visit to Chacis started with a misunderstanding on my part--I neglected to mention that I wanted only mustard. Their standard preparation includes a tangy house spread along with lettuce and cheese, and they don't offer yellow mustard. That said, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the sandwich. The pastrami was generously piled high, well-seasoned, and full of flavor. The tangy spread complemented the meat better than I expected, creating a sandwich that was both satisfying and memorable. My husband ordered the Torpedo and thoroughly enjoyed it with all the traditional fixings. Both sandwiches were substantial in size and fairly priced, offering excellent value. The customer service was exceptional--friendly, courteous, and genuinely welcoming. The shop is tucked inside a small neighborhood market that carries a variety of products. Parking was easy with convenient street parking available. There are three outdoor tables for dining, but since we live nearby, we opted to take our sandwiches home. What made the experience even better is that San Pedro's long-established sandwich shops finally have some worthy competition. It's always exciting to see a new local option step up and offer something different while delivering quality and value. Chacis brings a fresh alternative to the neighborhood sandwich scene, and that's good news for sandwich lovers. I'll definitely be back. Next time, I'll stick with my usual pastrami-and-mustard preference, but I'm glad this visit encouraged me to step outside my comfort zone.

It's a small shop as well where you can pick up some Italian groceries, definitely want to pick up some products next time we make pasta as it looks very authentic. Love seeing and supporting local businesses as I can tell there's strong San Pedro roots. I got the Proscuitto Caprese (medium size) and it was delicious! The ingredients were so fresh, the pesto was rich, the mozzarella was flavorful. My husband got the Godfather (medium size), big serving, great balance of flavors. Will definitely be back!

Hence I usually get it with the freshly baked baguette because it can take it more. The meatballs are hearty and meaty. A bit messy to eat but I like to add peperoncinos in it because the tang balances out the flavors. I love it with salt and by chips too. Anyway the staff is usually pretty friendly. It's a little market too so you can get some prepared meals in the refrigerated section and some other Italian themed groceries. Yes I'll be back.

Went on Saturday evening, about an hour before last call (7:45pm is last call) there was no line but plenty of business, good amount of seating for their little shop but might need more in the future! Staff is so friendly and helpful when it comes to ordering. Ordered lots of food and received it all in less than 10 minutes. Pho Tai Filet Mignon - 7/10: Broth is more acidic and sour compared to other restaurant broths, the red onion addition makes it feel more homemade which I loved. Pricing is a bit high but for a small business I get it. I'm all for supporting local business. Nuoc Mam Wings - 8/10: I've never had fish sauce before but LOVED these wings. Breading was light and crispy, would absolutely come back for these. Pandan Waffle - 9/10: LOVED this. Mochi like texture, could taste the pandan and the condensed milk is PERFECT. An amazing sweet treat. Banana Cloud Latte - 8/10: Strong! Very good. Loved the dried banana topping and the cinnamon. Will absolutely come back, will definitely buy some merch next time I'm there too!

And not only does it taste amazing, you can tell they're using legitimately fresh ingredients. Our new favorite order so far: short rib aloha pizza (it's a monthly special, but I hope they keep it on permanently), Riviera pesto pasta and the Parmesan chicken crunch salad. All of it blew us away. My husband used to be a "pineapple doesn't belong on pizza" type of human, that is no longer the case after having Piccini's. The short rib also melts in your mouth, and we were sad when it was all gone. Cannot wait to have another takeout night with Piccini's again.

My boyfriend's aunt said that it was amazing so I completed the order on DoorDash. I got the creamy marinara spaghetti. No photos because I inhaled it of course. Literally incredible. I also really like the packaging when you order ahead... It was completely sealed off so the food can't be tampered with. I only regret that I didn't come here sooner. Now that I know what you're all capable of... I will be back. Great work team!!!

I'm a bit of a chilaquiles snob, but these are easily some of the best I've had in town. The chips actually held their crunch even with all that sauce, which is a rare find. I got mine with their maple habanero chorizo--the perfect balance of sweet and kick. It's a small, local spot, but the flavor they're pushing out of that kitchen is massive. The Breakdown: * Quality: You can tell the chorizo is artisan. It doesn't have that greasy, heavy feeling of the mass-produced stuff. * The Sauce: Perfectly seasoned. Not too salty, just purely flavorful. * Service: Super chill and friendly. It feels like a neighborhood staple because it is. Pro-Tip: Parking can be a bit of a hunt right there on 9th, so just be prepared to walk a block. Also, grab a pound of the loose chorizo to take home for breakfast the next day--you'll thank yourself later.

After adding some ketchup, it was amazing! The sausage had a spicy kick, which I really enjoyed. Service: The staff was friendly and helpful, making it easy to choose from the options available. Atmosphere: This spot offers convenient pull-up service with a few outdoor seating options, making it a casual and easy stop for breakfast. Price: My meal cost $17, which is about average for Los Angeles. Overall: I would definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area!
