We have been going outside of the Ocean for dinners and forgot about the Ocean Steak. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Atmosphere, ambiance and food are all top notch.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We had a good waiter - very gracious and on top of service. Appetizers Caesar salad Lump crab Entrees Filet mignon Salmon Potato latkes Dessert Carrot cake A good experience in AC.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]An amazing Steakhouse inside the gorgeous Ocean Resort.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This Steakhouse falls right in line with the big boys.. Morton's, Capital Grille, even Mastro's. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The bar is located in the front as soon as you pass the hostess stand and is giving sexy vibes with cool music playing in the background.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We started with pre-dinner drinks as usual and our bartender was super friendly and made our drinks to perfection! The hostess came and got us once our table was ready. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were a bit surprised how crowded this high end Steakhouse was since it was a freezing cold random February weekend.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Even with that, service was great. Everything came out in a timely manner except for the crab cake, which was a few minutes behind. The food was freakin delicious! We went with the bone-in Ribeye, Chilean Sea Bass, crab cake, and my hefty portion of lamb chops, which had me smiling until I couldn't eat anymore... Lol! And of course the loaded lobster mac that could have literally been a meal all on its own! Our server was engaging and had a cool demeanor and kept us engaged. We'll definitely be back sometime this Spring/Summer, since we had such a good time in AC. So Ocean Steak, here we come!!!

My birthday weekend started with Dinner at Ocean Steak in AC. What a treat! We had reservations but still had to wait. I will admit they were busy. Service, they are a fine dining establishment. Get up from the table and your server is making your cloth napkin pretty for your return to the table. No manager presence this evening so that was off from a typical fine dining experience. Dishes were brought to the party at different times. One of our party waited at least 5 minutes for her food and so she just watched us eat because well, we dug right in! A few misses but a wonderful night! Food was delicious! Let's get Into It! Caesar Salad - Exceeded Expectations Lobster Mac - Exceeded Expectations and this lobster Mac probably had a whole lobster in our dish! Worth every penny! No cheating on the lobster at this place. Chilean Seabass - Delicious! I ate it all! That's something I never do! Exceeded expectations! Lamb Chops - Excellent- Exceeded expectations. Drinks - Delicious reasonably priced too! Would recommend and return!

Visited for happy hour on 10/28. Seated in the lounge area since the bar was full. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. Didn't catch her name but she had a slicked back long ponytail. I ordered a gin and tonic and hubby had a "Hey Jealousy." Both were good but hubby's drink was very good! To eat, we ordered the sliders, truffle fries, chicken and wontons. Everything was pretty good. The sliders were a bit dry. We paid $100 for 2 drinks a piece and 4 appetizers. I thought the price was reasonable.

Remy Martin- 1738 neat of course!

We had a reservation but really prefer the bar, which luckily we were able to get 3 seats as a group was heading out. Taylor and her co workers were all great! Social, fun, professional and we of course loved our drinks. We had two surf and turfs and one lobster tail. Everything was great and we'll definitely be back!

Very good experience at Ocean Steak. We had an apps meal. French Onion Soup, Wagyu Meatball (which was huge), baked potato and a Wedge Salad. We weren't a fan of the French Onion Soup, it had an overwhelming Rosemary flavor to it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Other than that everything else including the service and atmosphere was excellent.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Food was good. It wasn't exceptional and probably not worth the price. The service was amazing. I love the presentation of every dish they brought. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere was lovely.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered a big selection of food. The chicken franchise had too much sauce on it, which made potatoes very soggy. The brussels sprouts were not very crispy and the crabcake was a little fishy, you can tell there were no breadcrumbs which I liked, but it needed a spicier aïoli. The scallops were just OK.

This was my first visit to this establishment. Restaurant was pretty empty for a Friday night however it was a holiday weekend. Yet. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambience was nice. Very much in Xmas holiday spirit. Beautiful Decor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] And staff was super pleasant and helpful. Food was beyond amazing. Max and cheese. Huge serving and perfect - cheesy and flavorful. Mushrooms absolutely delicious. Salad great. Shrimp was not grilled as i expected but very good. Crab cakes full of crab meat and not all that filler. I cannot wait to come back I also ordered spinach but they forgot it which was fine. I really did have enough. Great place !

I love trying happy hours when I am in different places. I was looking for a Friday night happy hour in Atlantic City and I decided to go to Ocean Steak. If you don't pay attention to the signs on the casino floor, this venue can be hard to find. When I arrived, I sat at the bar. There is a great view of the boardwalk depending on where you sit. You can also sit at the tables by the bar and enjoy happy hour. I ordered the red wine of the day; it was a Pinot Noir. For the food happy hour choices, I ordered the crab wontons, waffle fries, gochujang wings, and smash burger tacos. The crab wontons were okay. I wish they were pan fried a bit more. When someone else's order came out. It was pan fried the way I would've preferred mine. The wings were delicious and cooked crispy as requested. The sauce on the wings were amazing. The smash burger tacos were burgers in tacos opposed to bread. The sauce in the tacos were delicious. Overall, the service was great. Craig was my bartender and he was amazing.

We visited this Ocean Casino Steak house since we were watching a show. I'm so glad we did as the food and service was amazing. The Mac and cheese portion was huge. Steak was perfectly cooked. The salmon was tasty. We will be back

Overall this place is absolutely beautiful inside and the service was phenomenal. Definitely got the "fine dining" experience. The rack of lamb was delicious and seasoned to perfection. I ordered it medium well, but I'm almost certain it was medium. The baked Mac and cheese was yummy; very cheesy and flavorful. My mom enjoyed her chicken, but she said there was nothing special about it. The Brussel sprouts unfortunately were too salty. I understand adding balsamic dressing, but once you add the bacon AND the peppers, it takes away from the genuine taste of the Brussel. The drinks were okay, I would have liked mine a little stronger. Overall, great place, I would come back.

One of the best steak dinners I've ever had! From start to finish, the bread and butter, wedge salad, dinner itself and birthday dessert was unreal! Laurel was a fantastic server! She checked in periodically, offered meal suggestions and was very kind. The food came out quick and all of the meat was cooked exactly how we ordered. There are floor to ceiling windows that overlook the ocean. The lighting is dimmed offering a "classy" ambiance. Great way to celebrate my birthday!

The place was beautiful but it does get crazy right at open for happy hour at the bar so make sure youre there early if you want that. There's literally a line waiting... We started off with the Shrimp Ceviche. It was super flavorful and tasted very fresh. Then we got the Grilled Octopus and it was FABULOUS! The flavor just encased your mouth when you take a bite. Its not overly chewy and the beans underneath made a great addition to each bite you took. I had NEVER tried oysters before and I finally mustered up the courage and tried one and im glad i did. It was delicious and im so glad they allow you to try just one so you don't waste money if its not your thing. The server was so nice to offer because I told her id never tried one. After that we tried the Maine and Manhattan Chowders. Both were super yummy and had a great taste and a good amount of clams.... another thing I had never tried before... WORTH IT. Then came the main course. I got the Flounder and Crab while my boyfriend got the Brazino. Both were so delicious and so light and yummy. I honestly can't say one thing i did not like about the food at this place. It was all so good. To finish off dinner, we got the Creme Brulee and an English Coffee to share. Again AMAZING. If you're ever down in Atlantic City, this place is a MUST GO!

Happy Hour Review…read more Preface: My wife and I were visiting AC to celebrate her birthday. As frequent visitors to AC, I'm a bit embarrassed that we've never been before but here we are. Before I get into the details, I'll simply say this place is SPECTACULAR!!! I was thoroughly impressed by the ambience, food, relative affordability (for seafood), and customer service. Additionally, we were so impressed that we came back the next day for another Happy Hour! This will be a long winded review because Dock's deserves the accolades and future potential diners! Oyster on the Half Shell ($1.50 each): Incredible, clean tasting oysters. I prefer a brinier oyster but I can't ignore the quality and freshness.. It was served with lemon, horseradish, and a homemade vinegar mixture. I asked for tabasco on the side. As mentioned earlier, I do prefer a brinier oyster but these oysters were a clean palate for you to customize as you please. Regardless of your oyster preference, order a few to start off your experience. Broiled Oysters ($1.75 each): There were two options: Rockefeller or Champagne Leak. We only ordered 2 (Champagne Leak) because we wanted to explore more of the Happy Hour Menu. The broiled oysters were presented on the half shell with what looked like a creamy leek infused sauce. Beautiful flavor! Fried Oysters ($1.75 each): They offered 4 different types: plain, buffalo, parmesan, and wasabi encrusted. I loved them all. We ordered 2 of each and it was served with tartar sauce. All 4 offered different flavor profiles. The Plain sounds boring but it's the perfect vessel for you to dress it as you please. The Parm was one of my favorite bites here. It was breaded, fried, and topped off with cheese and red sauce. It was fabulous. I can't give an honest review of the Wasabi and Buffalo fried oyster as my palate was bombarded with multiple plates, condiments, and drinks at the same time. Fried Calamari ($7.25): Simple, fresh, delicious. Although fried, it didn't come out greasy. Simple breading or flour dusted and fried served with lemon and cocktail sauce. No curve balls with this fried calamari. Lobster Mac and Cheese ($11): Beautifully presented Mac and Cheese served on top of a half split lobster. Great traditional casserole style Mac and Cheese (in taste, not presentation). Bits of lobster incorporated as well. It's a nice change of pace from oysters galore.I understand it's lobster but for the most expensive item on the Happy Hour Menu, I expected a little bit more meat. Tuna Tacos ($7.75): Star of the Show! Raw tuna chunks are diced and served in crispy wonton tacos. The crispy wonton had an incredible crunch. Wonderful upfront flavor but it doesn't stop there. There are back notes of something I can't pinpoint...a touch of wasabi and/or sesame oil??? I honestly can't tell you but it brings such a complexity to the dish. This is a must order. Even if you don't like raw fish, please do yourself a favor and try it! My favorite bite of 2026!! Ambience: old school but upgraded and grand design. Beautifully stocked upstairs and downstairs bar. The pianist played classic music. Customer Service: although we weren't seated. The bartender accommodated us to stand on the side of the bar, he told us it was against policy to serve food to standing customers (understandable) but he obliged. The bartender's name was Joe. Excellent bartender/server. Overall: we were so impressed we told ourselves that we had to come back the next day and we did. Day 2 food reviews below. TOTAL: $141.58 + $30 tip, 4 alcoholic drinks ordered. Day 2 Food Review House made Meatballs ($6.25): Great choice if you want to switch up away from seafood. Great presentation with 3 meatballs drenched in red sauce and topped with a Parmesan crisp. Overall it was tasty but I prefer a slightly sweeter red sauce. Deviled Eggs ($6.25): The Deviled Eggs here are topped off with a fried oyster. I'm a huge texture guy and traditionally deviled eggs are a mushy hot mess but here the crispy fried oyster is the perfect contrast. Served with a honey drizzle. Will order again! Clams Casino ($6.50): Clams topped off with charred red and green bell peppers and bacon. Aesthetically beautiful and colorful. More importantly, it was delicious. Notes of bacon are felt but surprisingly the charred peppers come through with a slight sweet profile. Mini Crab Cakes ($7.75): Traditional crab cake with a red pepper sauce. Good serving size, good amount of crab, and very little filler inside. No frills, must order. Steam Mussels Marinara ($8.75): Mussels served over a red sauce. Served with garlic bread on the side. The garlic bread was the unsung hero of this dish. Great garlic and butter flavor. The bread stands tall against the flavorful mussels and red sauce. Customer Service: Harry was our barbartender and looked like he was enjoying his time. All the staff truly provided great service. Total: $181.17 + $40 tip, 6 alcoholic drinks ordered.

I recognize menus change, but I'm guessing the chef changed as well. So many items are called the same name as they were on the previous menu yet they are not same, like a shadow of its predecessor. I will say the cowboy steak was amazingly prepared and delicious. If I was reviewing that alone it'd be a 5 star review. Our waitress was nice but I definitely got the feeling of disappointment when we didn't order appetizers, we prefer to order extra sides and drinks which more than make up that in the end. Just some people don't and it sucks to feel like you're not a table worth waiting on. The saddest experience was the dessert. The sticky toffee dessert was my favorite thing in the world. It was fabulous. It's still on the menu, but it is not the same dessert by any stretch of the imagination. It now tastes like someone cut the bran muffin in half and poured some sugary sweetness on it and then served it with clotted cream that was not tasty. It used to be a tiny dessert that came with ice cream. It was so rich and was beyond delicious. It is actually a challenging dessert to make, so I'm guessing they've changed to this new version to save time but honestly they should just take it off the menu if you're not going to do it properly. If that plate was served on Top Chef and they would've crucified the chef as it looked and tasted horrible. I'm sure we will go again in the future but I left with a tinge of sadness that they changed a historic restaurant so much.

We got there and it looked, calm, simple, and plain from the outside - until we walked in... this place was PACKED! Clearly, since we didn't make reservations, we weren't going to enjoy seating at their white table cloth tables in the main dining room, but we went around back to their bar and scored one last table there. Our server, Brian was amazing... engaging... and on point! They have a nice wine list and perfect spirit list. They also have an outstanding menu loaded with so many options, that I really just needed to settle on the first thing I saw that looked good. For me, I love cucumbers and when I saw they had a cucumber salad, done Asian style, I was completely in!!! Then I saw their soup of the day was split pea with bacon and since no one serves split pea and when they do, it's rarely what I expect, I got that too! Both of these came out looking GREAT! The cucumber salad had a nice spice to it and the flavors overall were sooo on point! That split pea soup was also great... almost perfect! It had the exact texture this soup should have and the flavor was very nice. For my entrée I saw a few of the halibut as I was walking through the dining room, so that is what I chose. The halibut came out looking great! It was PERFECTLY prepared too!! The flavors were spot-on, and the accompanying veggies were great too. We were enjoying dinner so much that we didn't want it to end, even though we were full... so, we ordered desserts too. I opted for the banana cream pie, as this is another item I rarely see on a menu and when I do, it's rarely done right, but not here... they did it perfectly! Overall, amazing meal...
