Came in on a Thursday night. It was crowded, but we waited anyway. It quickly became clear that the establishment was understaffed. The staff was frustrated and not very friendly.They were not available for refills or attentive at all really. The food was just simply okay. There was nothing special about it. From Hawaii I was excited to eat some Thai food! Ordered the Baton Shrimp, Papaya Salad and Patsiew beef. Very tasty! The Thai tea was some of the best I tasted! The service was fast and friendly! absolutely terrible dining experience. The Staff never spoke to us once, even to take our order. Just looked at us with an open booklet and waited for us to speak. As soon as we asked for water (after about 15 minutes of waiting) she walked away and served another table. When we finally got our food mine tasted like charcoal. It took me a good 5 minutes to wave a waiter down (terrible if you've seen how small the place is). I explained my distaste with the dish. The waitress said nothing and walked away to get our check. Needless to say we left no tip and I will never return. Decent, but I don't think I'll be coming back again... Service was very fast and super friendly. Ocean Thai's interior is clean and modern with a huge salt-water fish tank on the inside. Definitely not a hole-in-the-wall place, but great I suspect for families or those new to Asian food. Now on to the food: My drunken noodles were OK but lacking in any rich, succulent flavor, which is the main thing I really go for in Thai food... Along with the sliced peppers and mushrooms were huge chunks of quartered, bland tomatoes which were kind of a turn-off to try and work through, but the grilled chicken that came with was soft and tender and very well-cooked. My mother had the fried rice and while I didn't steal any bites of hers, she said that she's had better too. Overall not terrible but I feel like I've had better. read more

VERY good Thai Food. After eating here, all other thai restaurants won't match the quality of food found here. I recommend the Shrimp Phad Thai, Yellow Chicken Curry, and Beef Pad See Ew. The Coconut Tom Yum soup with Chicken is also a must for a start. They also have mango sticky dessert rice....YUM! The food is outstanding the price is right the place is nice and clean. But keep in mind if you come In as a walk in to place an order to go you'll be standing there for about ten to fifteen min waiting. They answer the phone before helping you and checking out customers before you. She smiled and asked for me to hold on while she answered the phone and walked away to check out another customer. Definitely one of my favorite Thai restaurants! My boss and I come here all the time on our lunch break, so we're pretty much regulars. The staff is very friendly, efficient, and the food is always great. My favorites are pineapple curry, pad thai and cashew nut chicken. Their fresh rolls with shrimp are amazing, and I love their peanut sauce! We love getting a thai iced tea with boba to go, and we get them so often that our server always remembers and brings them out to us after our meal without even asking- what awesome service! read more

Went for the first time on Valentine's Day with a friend. Had the eggplant with tofu dish. IT WAS INSANELY DELICIOUS. The place is attractive, clean, staff is very attentive and friendly and they served an orchid on every dish, on every already attractive dish. Had to go back SECOND NIGHT IN A ROW with 3 girlfriends. Same fast service had the Kabocha Curry and it was INSANELY DELICIOUS. Everyone raved about their meals. We had the spring rolls with shrimp appetizer and they were the largest most beautiful spring rolls ever. I cannot believe how many times I walked past this place. I live 20 miles away but went 2 nights in a row it was so wonderful. I'd give it 10 stars if 10 stars was an option. read more

I love this place so much. I come here ALL the time. The servers even know exactly what I am going to order! This place, in my opinion, has the BEST tom kah gah (coconut soup) out of all thai places I have ever been to (which believe me, IS A LOT). Also, they give the biggest cup of Thai Iced Tea. You get a lot more for your dollar! My favorite dishes to order here other than the coconut soup are the drunken noodles, yellow curry, panang curry, and sweet sticky rice with mango for dessert. Great spot for Thai! The location is perfect within a major shopping intersection. Especially ideal to stop in while buzzing around holiday shopping. The space is fairly small, but I have never had an issue getting a seat. The atmosphere is mellow, it's clean, service is friendly and rather quick. The Tom Yum is good (shrimp), however not as bold as other local restaurants. They are pretty accurate with their heat rating. I seem to like any dish with flat noodles and about medium heat. A bonus to to this place is that any flat noodle dish I have ordered has not been too greasy. That happens fairly often with Thai. The fresh spring rolls are decent, but they go a little heavy on the veggies (not a bad thing...helps to balance the diet!). Overall quality of food is great. A good choice if in the area and have a hankerin' for Thai! read more

My favorites are the drunken noodles, the phad se ew, the ginger stir-fry, mini-rolls and yellow curry. Not worth the money!!! I ordered carry out here and was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. After about 40 minutes, maybe longer, the food was finally ready. All the curry we ordered, different types and spiciness levels, were bland and watery! The other dishes we also ordered were bland as well. I couldn't even eat my curry and was very disappointed! I wanted to try this place because it was close by, but will not ever be coming here again! I'm sticking with Lotus Thai Bistro from now on. It is just as cheap, but has bigger portions and much better flavor! read more
