Stopped by here while on vacation off a recommendation from a friend and ended up eating here each day of our trip! Everything was amazing.

Hands down, one of the BEST restaurants I have ever been too. I think I ordered everything on the menu and was impressed by it all. Everything is made from a brick fire oven and comes out as it is done. Small, intimate place to go if you really love food and well thought out put together flavors. The chef really cares about what he puts out and will come out and speak to each table. It's clear the restaurant is a source of pride for the chef and even the servers. The menu changes daily and this is a small spot. When they run out they are out. This is on my to do list every time I visit because I know it could NEVER disappoint. read more

Oceano Kitchen is one best restaurants I've ever been. I love the casual unpretentious atmosphere. Menu is different everyday so we've tried most everything and never been disappointed. Pizza is the absolute best. Never soggy. Just perfectly crisp. Everything is perfectly seasoned. I typically don't like lots of foods combined yet here I love all the unique combinations. Went here for our anniversary weekend a couple of weeks ago. The wife had told me about a place in Lantana that was cash only and changed their menu daily, and since Florence had changed our plans about going to Asheville, we decided to try it out. I have one thing to say: Thank you Florence. Amazing staff, mind boggling food and great ambiance. If you like fresh, quality and beautifully presented food, you have to visit this foodie hideaway. So glad my husband and I stumbled upon this gem. We were looking for somewhere new to eat and I saw this place on Yelp. We were seated at the bar where we could watch the chefs prepare and cook everything which is pretty neat!! For starters, we ordered the beet salad, which at first we were a little taken back because there were no greens. But after trying the 3 different types of local beets along with the other ingredients, we fell in love! It was absolutely delicious. For our entrees, we ordered the snapper which was topped with strawberries. The pairing of the strawberries and snapper was definitely a hit with my pallet. We also decided to try one of their freshly made pizzas because we couldn't stop starring at them baking in the oven lol. I love the small, fresh, daily menu. The flavor combinations are incredible. We started with a bottle of wine and their straight shooter pizza, but luckily only ate half, because the wood fired grouper - which was added to the menu as we arrived - was the best fish I've had in the 31 years I've lived in Florida. It was served with an incredible mixture of white bean puree, zucchini, sauteed spinach, and roasted grapes. It was beyond delicious. Awesome! Excellent!! WOW!!! This is hands down our favorite restaurant in the entire Palm Beach area. A couple of words of caution: if you want obsequious service, menu items that are actually beyond the chef's capabilities, a guaranteed dining time (they don't take reservations) and to garner more points on your credit card (it's cash only), head elsewhere. But, if you want absolutely delicious, innovative food with the best, locally sourced ingredients, efficient, kind service and an almost hipster vibe (or at least as much as you can get in Palm Beach), this is your place. I literally can't think of one bad thing to say about Oceano Kitchen. Even the fact that they don't take credit cards is a good thing, as I think it means their customers really want to be here, as you actually have to plan at least a little bit in advance (although they do have an ATM inside), which makes the overall atmosphere even better. read more

A friend recommended this intimate family kitchen. The menu is posted daily on their website. The choices were limited but the flavors were amazing. We had roasted peaches, arugula and ricotta salad, homemade pasta ragu and a prime Kansas New York strip steak. Server Jason was great. we sat at the chefs table/counter and watched the chef and his wife perform magic. Wood burning oven and boiling pasta pot made for a toasty environment in July, but we will be back soon. Portions were generous to share. Food five star! read more

Small place, rotating menu, very chill and responsive server team, and above all amazing food and a small, but excellent, beer and wine selection. We arrived at 7:30pm (well before closing at 10pm), of the approximately 8 items on on very very limited menu - they were out of 3 items. We settled on pizza (not what we intended to have), it was good, but not outstanding. Service - mediocre, not very attentive and with attitude, we felt like they were doing us a favor allowing us to eat there. Salad over-seasoned and over dressed, glass of basic cabernet $16, food overpriced for quality - overall - a basic local pizza joint (couldn't comment on other food - nothing was available that I would order) with nothing special to offer - would not revisit. read more

This was our first time here and our friends second time. Couldn't have asked for better service! It's the kind of place that you share your meal. They have a small kitchen so meals wouldn't come out all at once and they do tell you that up front! Started off with grilled cheese. Very good but my opinion was it was a little over priced. Second we had the special shaved prime rib in a beget which was very tasty and definitely worth ordering again. Third was their Southern Bell pizza. Loved it! Nice thin crust with big taste. Liked it so much we ordered the Straight Shooter pizza. Again, it was very tasty! Friends ordered desert and although we were caught up in conversation and I didn't get to ask them how they liked it, it appeared they liked it as nothing was left. I wanted to like this place. I should have looked a menu while waiting 20 minutes to get a table. Finding nearby street or paid lot parking around here is a real challenge and took a long time. The place looks like a little makeshift covered tent set up and now I can see clearly has some stellar reviews for those who made it to the food. However, it was greatly overpriced for the set up and for Boynton Beach. Once getting seated, we were informed that it was cash only and we'd have to use their ATM to pay for the meal. Considering the price point, then using an ATM which would incur more charges, was not off to a good start. Next, our server arrived and RAVED about the menu and how terrific and wonderful every dish on it was....all 4 of them. With such slim selection and majority being seafood menu items and one was just a simple but overpriced pasta dinner which isnt something I'd exactly dine out for, I was pretty disappointed and actually struggling to find anything at all I would want to order here. The lull to get our order was long and I made a quick decision to abort mission and left. It was pretty awkward and the hostess seemed quite insulted by this (sorry!) but its my money, I was on a tight budget, and its my meal and my choice. read more

Our first visit since Oceano opened was a winner. I chose Cacio e Pepe with roast cauliflower and it was tasty, and not overloaded with cheese. We shared an heirloom salad over a wonderful cheese dressing, and my husband had the burger which comes with a fried egg, (not optional) ,a waste for non egg eaters. Being from the NYC area, and having tried some of the best restaurant in the NY area, south Florida, west coast US, Europe, and Asia, my family and I were pleasantly impressed by the quality, service, and atmosphere of this true gem of a restaurant!! Waiting for almost an hour with a toddler and pre-teen is never an easy task, but have to say it was definitely worth it!!
