While I understand restaurants have policies, what bothered me was that it wasn't verbally mentioned or clearly pointed out during our visit, which makes it very easy to overlook. If you pay by card, the receipt they bring you already includes the gratuity in the total. However, the signature slip still suggests additional tip amounts at the bottom, which can easily lead people to accidentally double tip without realizing it. I'm sharing this simply so people can pay attention before signing. In today's economy, every extra dollar matters for families dining out. And while some people may say, "If you can't afford to tip, don't eat out," the reality is that restaurants rely on customers to stay in business too. Transparency goes a long way, and I think customers should be clearly informed when gratuity has already been included.
