Up front, the reason I'm giving 4 stars is because they don't give samples. This was mildly annoying because I didn't want to risk not liking what I got (and spending $5+ for it) so I just opted to not get anything. My absolute favorite thing (and the reason we came here) was because they have SO many vegan flavors. It's really awesome when a place has as many vegan options as non-vegan options. Delicious local ice cream spot! The owners and staff are quite friendly and knowledgeable. I was very indecisive and they were so patient for every sample I requested. I was thinking about the flight of 4 half scoops but was pretty full from dinner so I ended up on a single flavor. I do wish there was an option for a flight of 3. I ordered the cookies and creme which had an amazing vanilla base, obviously made with vanilla beans not extract and huge chunks of cookies. I'm told they also use organic sandwich cookies. This place is vegan/dairy-free friendly, with just as many vegan flavors as regular flavors. The vegan flavors I sampled were delicious and not too heavy on a coconut flavor, except for the Samoa which has coconut in it. I would definitely return. read more

I'd recommend the cookies and cream flavor or the deconstructed Samoa cookie (vegan) They also have a wide variety of vegan options and they're just as rich as the regular flavors. Disappointed in our visit after reading all the great reviews. I tried the fresh mint chip and it just wasn't what I expected. It REALLY was "fresh mint". Very different. It tasted like I was biting into a mint plant in my herb garden. I should have asked to try it first. I love that they also list the ingredients and allergies along with their flavors. My girlfriend and I walked past this ice cream shop after dinner, and her being a ice cream fiend made it mandatory that we stop. They had a great selection of flavors, and I was very impressed by the list on the wall describing where they source all of their local ingredients. We got a fresh mint chip milkshake, and boy was it good! Just enough minty flavor without being too much. I will now describe why the shop has lost a star in my review. Firstly, the single milkshake came out to a total of $10.83. I get that they are using local ingredients which is awesome, but $10.83for a milkshake seems a bit overkill in my mind. The biggest disappointment with this ice cream shop was that the milk shake came with a regular drink straw. This made sucking the chocolate chips out of the straw like sucking a golf ball out of a rubber hose. Too much work and could easily be remedied with a thick straw, which I don't think is too much of an ask for a $10.83 shake. Overall it was very tasty and I would return in the future. read more
