Placed an order online for curbside pick up. Got an email that my order wouldn't be ready until tomorrow so I immediately called and spoke to a gentleman who kept repeating over and over that the order sits on the shelf for five days. He did not hear the question I asked which wash when can I come pick up my order because I need it right away. He kept repeating himself again without listening to my question. Then he said I can come in right now. Mind you the order was just placed and probably wasn't even in their system because I haven't been charged for it yet at that point. He told me I could come in in my order should be at the shelf and sit there for five days, he said it again. I asked him if he even knew what my name was and what the order number is because he was insisting I could come in and pick it up immediately. I understand what I asked for could be difficult because of the size, type of paper and location the printed text was needed, but the guys there were so rude. They looked at it and responded in a way like they just didn't want to do it. I ordered an HP desktop computer from their website. It was confirmed and was told the computer is ready flor pickup. I took my time by taking a shower and getting ready. Drove to the location (8.9 miles). Stood in line (7 customers ahead of me). The person working the register did not find the order so he went to talk to another employee. As I am waiting, I receive a call from Christine at the main office, asking me to tell the employee to refresh his screen and he will find the order. After I informed the employee of the phone call, he went back to talk to the other employee, then he asked me to move aside while the computer is being brought out. After waiting a few minutes he asked me to go and talked to the other employee . This other employee was aggressive from the start by the tone of his voice. I told him about the on line order, confirmation and the call from Christine. I asked him to refresh his screen and find the order Employee- I don't need to refresh the screen. Me - The order was confirmed and ready for pickup about an hour ago. Employee - refreshes the screen. " I need to order the computer." Me - Don't you have it in stock? Where is the computer? Employee looks behind him at the storage room. (I believe that's where the computer is) " I have 30 minutes to fill the order." That is when I decided to distance myself, due to his voice had an aggressive in tone. Me- " I would like to cancel the order" Employee " Call the office and cancel it yourself" I exited the store got in the car and pressed the call back on my phone. Christine answered and I told what happened since the last time we talked. Office Depot may not have an employee as pleasant and helpful as this person. She was apologizing for something she did not do wrong. I don't have a negative opinion for the Office Depot as a customer service Co., or their products, but one bad apple ruins an otherwise what could have been a win win transaction. read more

So I was really excited to come to this office depot especially now that I sell a lot online. It's my second time ever coming here. There was a really nice guy who asked me if I needed help that was a plus! It wasn't busy or at least looked busy until I got to the line, one in front of me and 4 in back of me. They had one cashier and one for printing. The cashier who helped me was nice enough to take me after waiting 3 mins not realizing I was in the printing line. The guy asked if I wanted to get in there rewards club I wasn't too sure if I should but since I been selling a lot more I said sure! I wear glasses but I didn't have them on because I usually wear them at night. anyway I'm not sure if there was a Sgn or not I was just trying to leave because my husband was in the car waiting for me with the baby crying. So I opened the door with the alarm I guess I couldn't get out of that door. So the girl came to me with a big attitude and nodding her head. I'm not a bad person. It was a simple mistake I'm sure others do. Why did she do that. I get it its stressful but there's plenty of people looking for jobs too and plenty of people who appreciate you as a customer. I was not giving attitude even after them taking long I didn't complain I was patiently waiting. The main reason why I hated this experience was because of that attitude I got. If she were to be nice with a smile or even say it's okay I would have at least gave it a fair 4. I get it. But why ruin someone's day. Many other people deal with people all the time in smiles even if they don't mean it you won't see them again but at least you made there day. A bad attitude doesn't bring customers back and it reminds them of that one time experience. Good job to the people who keep there smiles no matter what and there patience. read more

Stay away is my recommendation. Needed a box, the only one available was a floor sample. They declined to sell it to me, forcing me to go out of my way to get what I needed. This is a BOX for crying out loud. Not sure why they have such a stupid rule. read more

I am surprised this place is still in business honestly. I experience the WORST customer service every time I come here I think I've finally learned my lesson not to return. I came to the print shop twice today to print out some items for work and after wasting 30 minutes in line and 20 minutes driving here, they tell me their color printer isn't working after having me go through the process of emailing them the items I need printed. You would think being a supervisor you would ask what needs to be done immediately so you can take the proper action rather than wasting my time! Ridiculous! Not to mention when I first walked in a lady mumbled something to me and when I said "Im sorry, what?" She repeated herself like I was stupid and slowly annunciated every word, didn't ask for the attitude. If I could give zero stars, I WOULD. read more

They offer one of the worst customer service. I went to the copying/shipping department and needed a box to ship my item through USPS. I waited for about 10 minutes before the rude supervisor came up to me and pointed at an empty space and said "the line is over there." There was no line and probably 2 customers in the whole store. But anyways, I usually suspect bad vibes and immediately knew she was annoyed. I said I just wanted to ship my item and wanted to know where the boxes were. She rudely told me to "step back look in front of you and you'll see the boxes." I needed more help but she refused and said that she's not responsible for helping with the shipment of packages. I think they hire people who have had traumatic life experiences or a bad childhood. I seriously don't know why everyone here is so rude. read more

I've been coming to this store for the last 4 years. Not after tonight. Arrived with a list at 7:10pm. Asked for help finding a printer and router from the young man at the checkout. At 7:25 asked again, same guy. At 7:30, he was replaced by someone else.. asked him. He came to help me but couldn't answer my question and said "let me ask my manager". I told him I would be over looking at cordless phones. At 7:55 I was still alone in cordless phones. I took the phone and went back to the printers. No one. The original person was at the register. I asked him where the other man was to which the reply was "oh, you mean Kevin? He went on break." I'm sure I made an unpleasant face and he said "I didn't know you were waiting for him." Hmmm....So at 7:59 I walked out and am now going to Staples to buy a new Laser Printer, router, cordless office phone and 2 new cell phones. read more

I have been in many Office Depot stores before in different cities and they are mostly the same. With my personal experience, it's usually hard to find someone to help you or answer questions. You are mostly just left to your own devices. This visit was completely different. Fernando made this experience the best one I have ever had. He was friendly, he was able to help me right away when I had a shredder to order, and happily helped me find another item in the store. He was a sweetheart and we really appreciate his wonderful customer service. He has made a repeat customer out of me for sure. Thank you Fernando! The service was amazing from the minute I walked in Eddie helped me the most I had so much I needed to get done from making new business cards to rebuilding my portfolio. He helped me throug every step and I didn't feel rushed at all. He even went out of his way to help me find metallic paper because he knew it was something I wanted. I think I briefly mentioned it but after I was reviewing the details withhim he brought it up and I was amazed that he actually cared. This man deserves a raise. Being right by my work is a huge plus! I really like that this location is very well stocked and always clean. I appreciate that there are always employees nearby when I need them and I'm guessing they aren't commission based because no one hassles you with any up selling. I go by here 1-2 times a week for various things for the office, its not always the cheapest option but it is convenient and they do match prices which is great. I had them price match phones against a Fry's ad and they did it for me with no issues. read more

I've been going to this location for a few years and can usually find what I need right away, without assistance. Today I came in and couldn't locate a specific product I needed (gift card package with matching envelopes), and since I was in a bit of a hurry I left without double checking with an associate. An employee entering the store, named Robert, saw me leaving empty-handed, and asked if he could help me find what I needed. He took the time to check the shelves and stock to made some really helpful suggestions for substitute cards when we realized the product was likely discontinued. I ended up buying a different package and felt grateful for the thorough and patient way he assisted me. Usually the staff here is very accommodating, and I appreciated that this employee noticed my disappointment and took extra time to help me figure out the best option for my business. My only issue that I've had with store in the past is that the music in some aisles is sometimes playing super loudly, and it makes it hard to concentrate. A few months back my boyfriend and I were trying to figure out the differences between a few different brands of adhesive labels and we ended up giving up and deciding to go home because obnoxious music was blaring in the label section. Maybe most people could tune it out, so maybe that's just a weird thing that only bothers crotchety 30 somethings like us? Careful if you are thinking about buying an extended warranty and you use the product in your business. They wanted me to send my copier in for repair, then when i told them i was using it in my business they told me that is was commercial and the warranty was void. On hold and getting no where ! Talk about the run around, the store has always been pleasant but if i can't get service with my extended warranty that accommodates my business then time to move, i will still buy pencils from the store..... No More Extended Warranties, don't waste your $70.00........... So they did not cover my copier because it is being used in my business ?????? These people are simply stealing money from their customers on these extended warranties. I then wanted my money back and that could not be done unless i wrote a letter..... YOU ALL NEED TO STOP ADVERTISING THE COPIER AS A UNIT USED IN BUSINESS !! THEY WILL NOT COVER THE WARRANTY UNLESS YOU ARE COPYING YOUR BANK STATEMENT ONCE PER MONTH..... Please be aware that this store does not practice any type of account security . If you have an Office Depot account with a credit card or rewards points account connected to it I strongly warn you to remove your credit card and use your rewards points. I do not live in California however this store allowed an employee to change the name on my account to "Louis Krackovich" and then allowed said person to empty and use the rewards from my account to purchase a Western Digital Portable external drive while also providing my address, email and phone number. I have contacted the store and have received no response. The reply from the Office Depot customer care is to change my password; which I did the minute I received the alert that I had redeemed $76.64 . They could care less that there has been a security violation and not sure why the send an alert of they do not follow up with any actions. Came in to have some baby shower invitations printed (I've actually already had the exact ones printed twice already at this location, but needed a few more). David was EXTREMELY rude and unhelpful. He proceeded to lecture me on how difficult they would be to print and cut because of the format of my invitations. Both times I came in before and worked with other associates they immediately were able to print the invitations and had them cut for me by the end of the day. David continued on and on about the printing/cutting process and when I asked if he was going to help me by printing them he tried showing me how difficult it would be on the machines for him. At this point, extremely frustrated at his lack of professionalism and help, I asked for my USB back as I needed to continue on with my errands for the day and didn't want to waste anymore time. He wouldn't give me my USB back right away as he continued to tell me how horrible my invitations were and how difficult it would make his job to print and cut them! I ended up having to forcefully demand to receive my USB back and promptly left the store. So now I'm short invitations that were supposed to go out in Monday's mail... word to the wise, if you need printing services at this location AVOID DAVID AT ALL COSTS! He's rude, obviously doesn't like or know his job very well and you will be lectured if he doesn't like what you're needing printed. read more

Office Depot asks me to do a survey which is one of those totally boring, asking the same thing over and over and over, written by a moron for which I am offered $10 off. The coupon turns out to be $10 off $50!!!!! So already they've lied to me. I then choose the item I need that is $59, use the coupon and it states that I can pick it up in the store for free and they have 2 of the item I need. An hour later I get a call from Nick who tells me that they don't have the item, NO they can't wait until it comes in and call me, NO they can't let me pick it up from another store NO they can't do anything but cancel the order! CANCEL the order means my coupon will be void since their website will show that it has already been used! I ask for the manager and I'm told the exact same thing!!!! If it ever comes in I am welcome to come in with my THEN EXPIRED COUPON and she will honor it. Oh yes, after it turns out that she doesn't work there anymore and no one else in the store will help or try to find out anything for me!!!! This store LIES ABOUT THEIR INVENTORY and LIES about their discount offers!!!! I'm paying the same price I would have to pay them now that they have REFUSED to honor their coupon at Amazon where my item will be delivered to my door saving me the stress of having to go to their store, find a place to park, stand in line and then argue with some clerk!!!! Imagine a repairman has your phone and they are repairing it but it's taking much longer than you expected. After promising that it would only take an hour it has now taken more than two hours. They inform you that they are missing a part and they need to get it from another store that is relatively far away. You are late to your next appointment. You could demand that your phone be given back to you but you can't use it because it is in pieces. They took it apart. At least when you walked in you could use it. You are stuck and you are at the business' mercy. Why couldn't they have told me from the get go the part they needed was not in the store? Why did I buy a protection plan from this store? Why couldn't they have at least offered me a free water? This is why I hate going into the store. Chain stores, like Office Depot, take your business for granted. The screen on my IPhone 5S cracked. Office Depot advertises that they will fix it while you wait. The problem is the wait is going to be a long time. Long enough for you to get frustrated and write a bad review. read more
