Very strange experience this morning 7/10/25 around 7:50am. Ordered online, strawberry matcha which i've had their regular matcha & their strawberry and i prefer their strawberry which is why i ordered it. the lady behind the counter was busy which i sympathize with, but when i went to grab my to go order, i notice there wasn't any strawberries or strawberry sauce in the matcha which previously when ordered always had physical strawberries & strawberry sauce & lots of them at that! When i asked if "this was the strawberry matcha?" the worker said "it is" & turned away, i then said "are there no strawberries?" & she said "there is, but i am behind and don't have time" & turned away... i thought this was strange given i had paid for a strawberry matcha. If i wanted the regular i would have paid for the regular.. just strange all around given it is literally the whole point is to make the drink ordered not just what you have time for :/ im not one to complain but it was extremely strange & seemed like she just made what was convenient for her & i paid for more and she just did what she wanted even when asked about it. First time here today and i was greeted and helped right away but i really had higher expectations for this place than what i was met with. To start, i didn't give a complicated order (iced matcha with whole milk) and waited around 10 min. First red flag was the girl in front of me was waiting a long time already for hers then finally it took three people to make my drink..not sure why. Then i see her fill my cup with oat milk and i told her it's cool I'll drink it anyway. She turned around remade it and at that point i had to tell her that i was already charged for oat milk... the drink was $7.25. The matcha was not good at all to be honest, would not recommend id rather support a small business that's going to ensure the quality of their matcha is better and service is better. read more

WOW, what a find. I really hope this place gets on Eater, blows up, and enjoys all the success. My friends and I go to a different cafe every Sunday, and this one has us all raving the rest of the day. From now on, I want horchata in all my matcha lattes!! It was incredible. They were unfortunately out of pastries, which turned into something fortunate for us because we got the toasts instead. Hidden gem! Coffee: Ordered my usual iced oat latte. Super smooth and just great. Avocado toast: Everyone has avocado toast but I love when a place adds their own touch. I appreciated the combo and quality of this toast. Very refreshing! Atmosphere: Super clean space - atmosphere is simple but dope. The staff were all top tier friendly too. Everything from the food, service, to the environment was amazing! We got a biscuit, the pastrami and cheese pastry, the avocado toast. So good! My son said it's the best avocado test he's had anywhere. The lavender coffee latte was delicious not too sweet and the regular latte was perfect. Offset was my go to and still is just not this location anymore. Staff looked like they didn't wanna be there. The barista behind the register was on his phone for a while before he took my order. Dirty Horchata was horrible! Almost $9 for watered down horchata. Even the espresso tasted watered down. Sucks because I really liked this location but it's not the same. We popped over here coming from LAX and everything is absolutely incredible. The lox bagel is to die for -- truly the best bagel we've ever had. The flavor is so good, the bagel is so perfectly soft and the toppings make it amazing. The strawberry matcha is the best matcha ever also, a must get!! This is their second location and so far, I love it! Offset never disappoints if you're in need of a quick pick me up. My go to is their Vanilla Latte with oatmilk, I must say their coffee is amazing. The beans don't taste overly roasted but well balanced, you can taste it especially when drinking your lattes un sweetened. If you're a little hungry, their pastries are really good but make sure you taste their avo toast..It is exceptional! It is a little on the spicy side so make sure you let them know to omit the chili flakes if you can't handle the heat. I also purchase their whole beans for my breville espresso machine at home and the beans work really well! After much debate on my end, the manager suggested I'd try their Stereo Blend and it is now my go to! Also, the bags are quite large too. I can't recall how many oz are in a bag but it's definitely about 20-25% more than the competition, which is awesome! If you're in the area you should definitely swing by and give Offset a try. Stopped in to Offset while passing through El Segundo and I was very pleased with my order and experience. The staff was so friendly and one of the workers brought my coffee over to me once it was ready, rather than just shout that my order was ready. I know this may seem small but it's small gestures like this that really go a long way. The few baristas I have spoken to is really nice, good coffee. I have been following this place around SoCal, I used to go to their Torrance location a lot, and brought my dog in there and no one has ever given me a hard time. This location seems to pick who they tell, can and cannot bring their dogs in. If you're a white lady and have a husky, they'll gladly let you inside to order your coffee. But if you aren't white and have a TRAINED PITBULL. "The health dept says you cant be here" Gotcha!! So the girl asked me to go sit outside, she saw that I was trying to do work on my tablet, I left outside, to which two benches were occupied and the others were just locked up and no capable of being used there weren't even seats to sit at. AS THEIR EMPLOYEE SHE KNEW THIS!! I did not order anything, I packed my bags and went else where that ALLOWS ME and my dog to sit and do my school work. I wont be back, Plenty of coffee shops around that has benches and SEATS to sit on even if it is outside, because me and my dog has to stay outside. Not having a place for us to sit at is a joke..
