Oga's Cantina is one of the coolest spots in Disneyland! Found at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, make a reservation just to be safe. It's Disney theming done so well with Star Wars vibes and fun, tasty, very expensive drinks. If you have a Magic Key Disneyland season pass though, you will get a 10% discount so be sure to alert the staff to this. I've tried a bunch of mocktails & cocktails here and they're all exciting and fun. I've also tried some snacks, that I would say the same about. None of either was mind blowingly amazing but they're good and pretty. I actually prefer going for their beers - all special and cool craft brew options. However, they used to have a really cool beer flight with an even cooler souvenir! They don't seem to have that anymore and I wonder if it just wasn't popular with the high $86 price tag for the small tasters of the beer. It was sooo cute though! Most of the beers themselves are low potency, but the $14.75 6.5% Jogan Blossom Hazy IPA is a nice ube flavored brew. The other 3 beers on tap are under 5% and $18.25. Walking into Oga's Cantina is like being transported into Star Wars. The theme and decor feel very realistic. The cocktails are absolutely delicious -- my favorite is the Outer Rim, which is their Star Wars version of a margarita; I also like the White Wompa beer. And the service is usually fast. Things to note: They no longer take reservations, but you can add yourself to the walk-up waitlist using the Disneyland App by getting close to the restaurant. Most "seats" are standing high tables (which can be annoying if you are visiting with small children). And you only have 45 minutes to enjoy, with a max of two drinks per adult. The look and service is spot on. Everything is themed and who doesn't love a robot DJ. There's beer, wine, and themed cocktails. The cocktail options all seemed pretty sweet to me and they offer non-alcoholic concoctions for the little ones or non drinkers. My little sister tried two of them but was not a fan. Maybe she's just picky but I've never seen her not finish a sugary drink. The snack/provision menu is very limited so do not come here hungry. They have now transitioned to walk up availability with a standby queue, no reservations necessary. The day that I came there was no wait but I have seen this place with a long line outside. Heh, after my experience with Orlando's Oga's Cantina, I told myself I'd never come here again, but I guess I found myself at the Disneyland version since my friends had never been. If you want to get in without a reservation, it's way better to drink earlier in the day. Also, you'll have to check in when your estimated time is up, even if you don't get a notification. Even then, you wait in line to stand at a table with a bunch of other people and drink expensive drinks. I just ordered a water, which is free. There is a very limited snack menu. All of our cardboard coasters were used and the same one. Our waiter was nowhere to be found after he "standed" us. We were placed in front of DJ R-3X which was pretty cool since we got a cute selfie. I wouldn't say it was worth to come here, still. I don't even want to describe the drinks we got because it's all the same - overly sweet and overpriced. It's hard to see how pretty they are in the dark room. Only go here if you love standing in a crowd with a bunch of loud people, drinking expensive sugar water. This is now not the only place to get alcohol in Disneyland. The souvenir mugs are about $30 each. It's probably more chill if you reserve a seated booth, but otherwise you're standing uncomfortably the whole time. Whether you're a Star Wars fanatic or not, this cantina inside Galaxy's Edge is worth a visit for the unique experience. It's a popular spot but you can make reservations in advance. The snacks we tried were delicious. The Garlic-Cheese Five Blossom Bread ($12) was warm, soft pretzel bread that came with a tasty cheese sauce with a slight kick. Came for the soft opening on Friday night and I just admit: I do not get the hype. After having a few delicious drinks over at DCA, we made the long trek to Galaxy's Edge to try Oga's after they re-opened for refurbishment. We used the mobile walk up list option and after just about it 5 minutes we were ready to dine! Or so we thought. They bring you to the restaurant just to have you wait in another queue in front of the entrance. What the heck is the point of the walk up list then? I guess it just wouldn't be Disney if they didn't make you wait in line. Alas, we were taken inside and to be fair, it truly does feel you're entering another world. The attention to detail and Immersive elements are incredible, including the droid DJ. But, here's where the excitement ended for me. We were taken to the bar to dine (fine I guess, there didn't seem to be too many other options) but there were no seats! Not even barstools. Servers were friendly and efficient (and in character). We ordered a beer and a cocktail but it looked like all the cocktails were pre-batched. For the price, this was a little disappointing. I got the Fuzzy Tauntaun and I do not recommend this at all. It was essentially juice with an absurd amount of foam on top. I don't think I'll be eager to come back again unless they make some updates to the menu and seating options. We had to get it again another day we were there. The biggest downside to this place other than the cost (like all restaurants in the park) is the seating situation. After all the times we've been to Disneyland, this was finally our first time making it inside Oga's Cantina. We visited in mid-May when the parks were quite crowded, so we had to join the walk-up list on the Disneyland app, you can't just stand in a physical line to try to get in. We waited about 45 minutes to get called, and they were pretty strict with the rules once we got to the door: they told us we only had 20 minutes inside, a maximum of two drinks per person, and that was it. To make things a bit tougher, we were assigned to a shared standing-only spot that was hardly a table, just a tiny little ledge we had to share with four or five other people. There weren't even barstools. My legs were already exhausted from walking the park, so having to just stand there to try and enjoy a drink was unfortunately very uncomfortable. They do have actual lounge areas with semi-circular booths and seats, but the wait for those is much, much longer. However, the reason this place still gets 4 stars is because the items we ordered were phenomenal. Both the alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks were absolutely delicious. We also ordered the Batuu Bits (the pretzel bread thing), and it was surprisingly excellent, especially considering that a lot of park food can be pretty mediocre. Besides the long wait and the uncomfortable standing situation, the atmosphere is just extremely cool. The robotic DJ R-3X is definitely a major highlight, and it's overall a really fun, immersive Star Wars experience to do at least once. This is a great place to hang out at night when your feet are sore and you want a $18 Disneyland IPA. We found this place by accident after going to Rise of the Resistance and saw the door sliding open and close. Thinking this was another ride, nope it's like a hidden treasure. The bartender wasn't too pleasant but it was also probably a busy day and ending her shift. I wanted to get the Loth Cat souvenir cup and I wasn't sure what she was saying that we had to get one that had a drink in it. I just wanted to buy a clean one and skip the drink. I was able to get one and it's my favorite souvenir this trip. The drink that comes with it is kind of gross to be honest. My other half had a great time ordering the beers there. There was a table behind us that the front desk was mixing different parties with that I'm not sure I would be ok with. There's a 2 drink maximum and 45 minute maximum time. This place really did feel like stepping into a seedy cantina on Tatooine. There was a small line and even though the wait said 10 minutes on the app, we were seated in about 2 minutes. This was after requesting seats instead of the standing bar or tables. Interestingly we were led to what looked like a full booth, with a couple stools on the outer side for us. It's can be a bit odd grouping up with strangers, but it was loud enough inside to not need to share conversations if you don't want. That said even with multiple guests rotating through during our 44-minute allotment, everyone was friendly and willing to chat at least a little bit. When one group left we were able to love from the stools to the booth seats with zero issue. There was a pretty wide variety of cocktails and NA drinks, in addition to some food "rations," but we only got a single drink each. The Jet Juice is a bourbon drink with chili liquor, açaí liquor, and white grape juice. It was fairly strong but still tasty with a light kick. It came in a large shot glass so it wasn't a big drink, but packed a punch for the size. The Hyperdrive was their take on the shirley temple, and it did taste a bit better than the classic IMO. We didn't taste the drink, but a woman next to us let us try the "frog eggs" (popping boba) from her Jamba Juice drink and those were incredibly tasty, so we might try that next time around. Overall this place offers a really immersive experience with cool things to see behind the bar, a vibing DJ, table lights tuned with the music, and fun, creative drinks to enjoy. Oh and the service was top notch. Grinning loth cat was a great drink. Mix of guava and coconut just had different flavors that somehow worked together. Hyperdrive looked cool but tasted like a super expensive Powerade. Would NOT recommend. Yubnub mug is beautiful. However the drink was nothing special. I would've just paid for a different drink if I could still get the mug. Interesting and unique experience to check it out for first time. But it's skippable in my opinion and not as amazing as some people make it out to be. It's one of the few places in Disneyland that serves alcohol. You need to get onto a wait list which can vary and take a long time like an hour plus depending on how busy it is and how quickly tables turn over. Don't expect to just walk right in and grab a drink. They try to limit people's time and turn over tables quickly. It felt very disorganized and chaotic. The seating options are at the bar, table with seats or stand up tables of varying size without seats. It can be very busy and if you have a smaller group, you may share a tiny table with strangers. If you have a big group, you may all get squeezed into a tiny table with not enough room, which is what happened with us. There were nine of us, seven adults and two kids, we got a tiny standing table with no seats for anyone. If you want seats, specify that from the beginning with the host when you check in to get on wait list, otherwise they will just assign a random table as it becomes available and they won't let you switch without getting on the wait list again. Stupid policy. My father in law has mobility issues and walks so with a cane so it was difficult for him to stand for so long at our table that didn't have seats. Our host Alex was very kind and let my father in law sit at one of the tables next to ours so he could rest his leg. The ambiance and theme is pretty cool. They have an robotic DJ that moves around, it would have been cooler if it was the cantina band from the the movies. The adult alcoholic drinks were okay. Not amazing, very sugary, but not terrible though. Prices were high but that is expected at Disneyland. The souvenir mugs were actually pretty nice quality, very thick/heavy and reasonably priced for Disneyland standards around $30. The Disney gift shops were selling $4 key chains for $14 so everything at Disney is heavily inflated. The non-alcoholic drinks were not very good, we bought two drinks for the kids and both them had one sip and refused to drink any more. Alex was nice and offered a different beverage for the kids without any extra charge, so the kids changed drinks. It was a little better and they did drink some more but they didn't finish the entire drink like they usually do. Their opinion was it was ok, which meant they're trying to be nice and it wasn't very good. We did not try the food. But in my experience, the food at Disneyland and California Adventures is not very good and very expensive. You're better off going to Downtown Disney if you want decent food. I would have given the experience a one star rating, but I am bumping it up extra one star because our host Alex was very kind and accommodating. This place is great for all the fans who love Star Wars. You will be transported to Batuu when you first walk in to the cantina. Pretty cool decor and the bar itself is mostly standing room. There are a few booths but you have to share with other guests. Time to make some new friends. The cantina has snacks to share, adult beverages, and some mocktails for those who do not drink. The drink menu varies from $12-$20 per drink. Some are on the sweeter side and some simply heighten the experience. I ended up ordering the Fuzzy Tauntaun which was pretty cool. I just don't know about the "buzz" foam on top. It made me feel weird once I took the first few sips. My tongue went numb. Apparently, it's a thing and the other guests in my booth confirmed it wasn't only me. Weird tbh! As we were brought in, we shared a table counter top with other guests but we were not all given "personal space". My coworkers and I felt a bit awkward being so close with other individuals who seemed to be on a date. I would probably suggest for the workers to scout sections before seating their guests to make sure there is ample space within an arms length to enjoy the experience at the cantina. What a cool hidden, reservation only bar located inside Disneyland's Star Wars area! You can easily make reservations and kids are allowed! They do offer a few items off the wall appetizers and specialty mixed drinks to fit the theme! I made reservations right before a right, walked over and as soon as we sat in front of the Catina, I got a text message that our table was ready. There is 2 different people to check in with and they hand you a coaster that has their menu on it as mo menus are handed out. Our first round included a sipper and a mixed drink, Takodana Quencher and a basic sprite. The second one (2 drinks max per person) was a fuzzy tauntaun and that was DELICIOUS!! Dont inhale the foam! It can be said many times but someone aways inhales it. This tasted like a legit lemon meringue! I loved it, even though my husband ordered it as his drink, I drank half! The only downfall is there is a lot more standing room versus table and chairs. Being in Disneyland all day, you do hope for a sit to rest a bit. The chances of that here are slim. 1. The drinks were unique and well-crafted! They definitely fit the Star Wars Theme! 2. The spot has fun casual vibes! The interior is spacious but it can get crowded! 3. There are only indoor seatings! There are a lot of tables and counter space but they would make small groups share a table! 4. The staff was friendly and timely with our drinks! Oga's Cantina is where one gets plastered on an empty stomach sitting with total strangers (in the beginning) who eventually become Disney family (in the end). The service is very quick and accurate. Some CMs are quicker than others, most likely due to experience serving in a "bar" environment. Let me start with the food since it's a short menu. The best is the Garlic-Cheese 5 Blossom Bread by far. Some may argue this, but I feel it's the best on the menu. For the drinks, READ the menu before ordering. Been here a couple times before and it's always a nice experience. You only have 45 min limit to stay inside and max of 2 drinks per person. There is mostly standings tables and not a place to sit down. This is one of the only places where they serve alcohol at Disneyland. This is another place that you pay for the experience. It's a 2 drink limit per person. No vegan snack option available. Not all the drinks are vegan friendly. Initially, we were seated with one other couple but not even after we finished our first drink we were sardined into being elbow to elbow with strangers. We had 10 people in our booth and 2 of them were children-- not sure how 12 people would fit... Maybe they were all super thin and small ?! IDK. Maybe 12 children. Anyway, service was fine, drinks were fun and overpriced as is the norm. The place wasn't too loud but still loud. I was expecting really really loud, so that's good. Galactic music played and fun little skits with the power going out temporarily. It did very much feel like you were in a different place. Being Star Wars fans we loved this air conditioned break. We had our kids enjoy some of the non-alcoholic drinks while we endnotes adult beverages. Drinks were okay. Like I said, this is more for the experience. I would have liked some vegan/plant based options here. We would have ordered if something was vegan. Hubby enjoyed his souvenir mug. Overall fun!
