I appreciate this place so much honestly. It is always so nostalgic and the food is never subpar. Olivia was on it and always so thoughtful and just ON IT. She helped with every request my mom had while she's in town. Like I'm grateful when she is working because she's just great! Miguel (of course) was here working his butt off as usual. Came here tonight with family, wanted to get out of the house. This place is VERY kid friendly. Our server was Alex. She was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, willing you answer any questions I had. We ordered the wings (buffalo), lettuce wrap, flat bread (veggie & chicken club). One of the flatbreads were undercooked and a bit doughy. But fear not, manager Shawn was helpful and willing to address. They fixed the flatbread and compd 2 drinks. Outstanding service. Very happy. The pizza is great. That's for sure but when it gets crowded... I waited standing around for thirty minutes unable to get a table. That's when a server unceremoniously handed me a salad. So now I'm standing there holding my salad still unable to sit. After another 15 minutes or so a server tries to hand me my pizza. She at least had the wherewithal to offer me a box for my pizza. It was then a table is opening, but no a woman that had just got out of line says to me sorry I've already asked for this table. I'm literally standing there with my food in hand. This restaurant was probably one of the worst restaurants I've been to. From its upkeep to the terrible food service. The waitress by the name of Meilani was absolutely rude the entire time we were there. After finding hair in our pizza she had no empathy, and pointed the finger to the supervisor. Then after asking if the restaurant if they offer military discount, she denied it and said there was no such thing. From the moment she took our order it seemed like she had been plotting to get us to leave asap. We were hoping to celebrate my birthday at this place just to see it be absolutely ruined by this lady Meilani. We're from out of town and saw this place and planned to celebrate my husband's birthday here. Sure, the food is good - the pizza specifically. The wings were meh - we were told they only have drumettes - from photos on Yelp from other people, they do have wingettes! But the wings situation was nothing compared to the terrible service we got. MEILANI as recorded on our receipt. Terrible! Terrible! Terrible! MEILANI already look annoyed when getting our order. Then, MEILANI was very rude when we asked about the wings. Then, when we asked for our bill, we asked if they offer military discount - MEILANI said no so quickly, then the manager said 10%. When we got the bill, I checked if our order was put in correctly. I didn't know my brother in law ordered soda so I asked if he did, and MEILANI rudely interrupted - yes he did! So I answered back and said, I'm sorry, I just wanted to check. Yet again, MEILANI rudely responded, yes he did twice. I just dropped it and checked the rest of the bill. Then as I was handing her my card, MEILANI grabbed it to tap on her handheld machine, which wasn't working so MEILANI had to ring us up "at the back". Yes, service can be slow and it is dim inside but oggis has been around forever and the locals are used to it, which is why we keep coming back. The food is mediocre at best and the reason for this is because you aren't able to truly enjoy it due to the condition of the place. There is an arcade but even that needs to be maintained. Did and service was great. We watched an NFL playoff there and there were plenty of TVs and easy viewing angles. Only negative was the bathrooms... The men's toilet seat (in the one stall) was covered with multiple stickers and remember if stickers... Gross! The women's has two stalls, one without paper. Didn't want to write a bad review because Oggi's used to be one of my favorite place to go for pizza, but I was very disappointed from my last visit. Came in to watch the game on a Saturday afternoon. Wasn't busy yet so found a booth with easy access to watch multiple TVs, couple of friends joined after few minutes into the game. Knowing game would last 3+ hours we paced ourselves by ordering drinks and appetizers. Initially we were pleased even though our server was not the friendliest. It went downhill after we ordered the pizza. It took forever to get another round of drinks and by the time the pizza got to our table it was cold. Server didn't return to our table so I went searching and told her it was cold. She took the pizza and returned 15 minutes later with same pizza. Looked like they just reheated it so the topping was dried out and crust felt like cardboard. To top it off, when my friend ordered another drink, the server brought the wrong size. A larger one! When he recognized the error and told server, she just looked and said, "Oh, ok".... Never adjusted the cost of the more expensive drink than what was ordered. Along the way, ordered a few more items. It took forever, it seemed, to get anything. Our server rarely stopped to check on us. probably the worst pizza we've ever had. We ordered at 5:30 for a pickup at 6:30. It seems like they made them right away and they sat ther for a hour. The bbq chicken pizza had almost no chicken and both pizzas had soggy crusts. Lesson learned. We won't go back. read more

Like some of the other reviewers, I really did not want to make this review but the food and the service was terrible. Our server clearly wanted nothing to do with being there. She was nice up until I had to send my food back. I would have ordered something to replace it but the way she acted told me that was not a good idea and she never asked me if I wanted something else. She took a deep breath and grabbed it. Though I have been there before, it's been a while. I was drawn in by the sign that said, "Now cooking with avocado oil and beef tallow." You couldn't have made a better choice that that's amazing to me. Though it was slow, Kailee did an exceptional job checking on us frequently. Felipe was very personal and gave us attention as well. It was great to see Miguel. I remember him from over 10 years ago. I think he should be promoted. The food was great. Obviously the service was great. Keep up the great work. Here's the thing...the food is always good. We love their pizza & the wings are delicious. The downside is eating there. The restaurant is so rundown & honestly it's undesirable. Old booths, sticky tables, terrible flatware & whatever you do don't look at the floor. The service is spotty at best but when you do finally get served...the staff are friendly (once they see you) if you decide to eat in the bar area you will wait longer for food. Unless you are literally at the bar in front of someone you are basically invisible. I think we will start getting our food to go bc again the pizza is legit. read more

Been going here for years (even before Oggie's took over the location!). Great place to take the kids (lots of sports teams go there). Plus, they have a game area to keep the kids busy. Today my grandparents, sister, brother-in-law and two necessary visited this location. There were two little boys running around the restaurant. They came very close to running right into my infant neice in her stroller, almost knocked into my 11 year old niece and almost ran into 2 elderly women walking to their table. My brother-in-law finally asked they boys father to ask his children to stop running in the restaurant and be more careful. The manager proceeded to yell at my BIL and tell him they're "just kids having fun". Having fun RUNNING IN A RESTAURANT? OK. Lol. When the manager intervened the manager told him my brother in law was drunk and causing a scene (no one in my family even drinks) the manager took the guys word for it and continued to let the man and 3 of his friends yell at my BIL. When my 85 year old grandfather came over to difuse the situation one of the men HIT MY ELDERLY GRANDFATHER IN THE FACE. The manager apparently saw nothing wrong with this and let the men stay. So my family left and went to eat elsewhere. We visit the mission valley location often but after this incident and the management's unacceptable response to the situation we will NEVER be coming back to any location and will be making sure everyone we know hears about this and stays away as well.
