Been going here for years (even before Oggie's took over the location!). Great place to take the kids (lots of sports teams go there). Plus, they have a game area to keep the kids busy. Tons of TV's going with sports. Got really great service from Felipe tonight. Balsamic Chicken Salad was really good. Plus some wings. You can't go wrong there. read more

Today my grandparents, sister, brother-in-law and two necessary visited this location. There were two little boys running around the restaurant. They came very close to running right into my infant neice in her stroller, almost knocked into my 11 year old niece and almost ran into 2 elderly women walking to their table. My brother-in-law finally asked they boys father to ask his children to stop running in the restaurant and be more careful. The manager proceeded to yell at my BIL and tell him they're "just kids having fun". Having fun RUNNING IN A RESTAURANT? OK. Lol. When the manager intervened the manager told him my brother in law was drunk and causing a scene (no one in my family even drinks) the manager took the guys word for it and continued to let the man and 3 of his friends yell at my BIL. When my 85 year old grandfather came over to difuse the situation one of the men HIT MY ELDERLY GRANDFATHER IN THE FACE. The manager apparently saw nothing wrong with this and let the men stay. So my family left and went to eat elsewhere. We visit the mission valley location often but after this incident and the management's unacceptable response to the situation we will NEVER be coming back to any location and will be making sure everyone we know hears about this and stays away as well. I'd give negative stars if I could. read more

MOUSE ON THE TABLES!!!!!! Food was sub par at best. The pizza I ordered came out burnt and took forever. I came in with my family and my kids enjoyed the arcade though it looked poorly kept. My server was really polite and understanding, and offered us another pizza. We came in on a somewhat of a quiet day and couldn't help but overhear what seemed to be the owner yelling at her staff. It seemed to really distress the workers and didn't seem like a healthy work environment. As I was walking to the restroom I saw a mouse scurry across one of the dinning tables and immediately collected my family and went up to the host for the bill. I wish I could give no stars but because I have to leave one I would leave it to the incredibly polite server we had. read more

So we have been eating here at the Encinitas location for close to 5 years... obviously we enjoy gathering and eating here or we wouldn't be coming back so regularly. I've had a variety of things on the menu ranging from salads to pizza to sandwiches. The food has always been good and consistent, which is not something I can say always happens elsewhere. But personally I enjoy the overall atmosphere of the place and want to give a big shout out to Felipe, who usually is our server. He's always handled our group in a very fast and efficient manner, always with a great attitude. Definitely recommend. read more

A group of around 20 guys and I go here weekly. Felippe has always been awesome and attentive. He has gotten to know us all on a personal level. Oggi's know we're coming so they keep the kitchen open late for us. The food is great for what it is, pizza, burgers, salads etc. We'll keep coming back. read more

The pizza was just ok. The toppings were good, BUT bottom of the CRUST was a little cardboardy, stiff, and hard to me. But the outside crust was pretty good and soft and puffy! Just the way I like it. So, the crust was delicious but the bottom was a bit too hard for me. read more

I thot it was legit, i ddint eat in the restaurant but all the stuff i see on doordash reallt doesnt look to appetizing in my area and this place it didnt seem like they try to hard but at least it wasnt some disgusting food, all the "nice" restaurants or popular ones to me looked disgusting so i just tried thus it wss a small pepperoni i liked it cuz the crust was legit and not a shortage of sauce now maybe if it was a large it wouldve had those issues idk and the pizzas with a lot of toppings on the photos dont look as good but maybe the ppl ordering them sucked .. idk . Worst experience EVER! NOT FOR ANYONE WHO VALUES THEIR MONEY. My order was ordered online, the delivery time came and went. Called for the status and I was given a lame excuse. Called back 1/2 later because STILL NO DELIVERY. The manager on duty was not helpful. Her tone was dismissive. Didn't offer to make it right. I only agreed to a credit since it was MY suggestion. Wait, it gets worse. Pizza was delivered 2 hrs after I ordered and it was delivered cold, stuck to the box and the half the toppings missing! Poor service, bad vibes and wrong order. The food at this place is great. However, there's definitely room for improvement when it comes to customer service. During a recent visit for a pickup order which was today around 1pm, I arrived and no one was at the front desk. I could hear several employees behind the wall, laughing and chatting and none of it work-related. After waiting for a while and even stepping into the bathroom, I came back and still no one was available to assist me. I eventually walked closer to the kitchen area, and a young brunette girl employee came out and responded to me in a very rude manner. It was disappointing to be treated that way as a customer. I hope the management can work on improving the attentiveness and professionalism of the staff to match the quality of their food. read more

A home town staple! The Encinitas location could use a face lift, it's very outdated inside. The pepperoni pizza is always great as is their ranch. The tortilla soup has a green color to it but is also pretty good. I recommend watching a game at the Carmel Valley location, more family friendly and clean. read more

We came here on a Sunday afternoon to watch football and eat pizza. I'm no angel and swear with the best of them but I was shocked at how rowdy the customers were and how many F bombs were dropped in the hour we spent there. The perimeter of the restaurant is where it's at. The tv's are easily visible and the staff friendly and willing to put your game on. My husband and I shared the boneless wings with sweet chili sauce. They were very tasty, saucy and had a nice sweet kick. Next came the Oggi's Pizza which was thick crusted and delightful. The sauce was really good and vegetables were cooked but had a nice crunch to them. I don't think I'll be returning unless it's to get a pizza for carry out. read more

We were a party of 12 and the waiter we had was excellent. Someone ordered a calzone, and it was huge and looked deilicious. Several ordered salads that also looked good. I ordered the fish tacos and they were disappointing (one star). One thumb-sized strip (1" x 2") of overcooked, tough, dry grilled fish in each of the three tacos, an excessive amount of cabbage piled on top to hide the skimpy fish, and some tasteless (yes, somehow possible) pico de gallo on the side. Came here for lunch with a good friend who works down the street. I ordered a custom burger with a turkey patty, lettuce, pickles, red onion and a garlic aioli on a brioche bun. The meat was flavorful, the bun sturdy but soft and the aioli was amazing. My only complaint about the food was the skimpy serving of fries that came with it. My friend enjoyed her tortilla soup and garlic knots. The server was incredibly attentive, checking on us continuously and always refilling my iced tea in a timely manner. The ambience is lacking hence, the 4 stars, and definitely needs a refresh. Even in the middle of the day it was very dark and the interior is quite dated and could use some updating. Overall, it was a good meal and, at $41 for our meals and drinks it's right on par with what I usually expect to pay. read more

Disappointed in the cinna knots. The menu said they came with cream cheese frosting, but they didn't and when I asked the waitress for it, she said it didn't come with any. I would have gotten the cinna bites but she said they were out of the s'mores toppings for it. Little disappointed in the size of the mimosa for $6. The staff was very nice though. read more

It's been a long while since I've been to Oggi's. My last trip here was probably almost a decade prior when a Vegas friend demanded pizza and this place was sports bar enough for his tastes. I remember disliking it to the point where I stayed away from then on and shook my head when anyone suggested it in the future. But, time had dulled the bad memories and a visit from two hungry teenagers made the prospect of some pizza and appetizers enticing enough to try Oggi's once again. While not as bad as I remember, it still doesn't rise much higher than what you'd expect. We started with the Short Rib Nachos, which came with cut avocado, guacamole, cheese, and jalapenos atop the chips and meat. The short rib meat was flavorless, none of that melted tendon and soft tissue melted down to give a rich and full taste after a long sous-vide. The other toppings were alright, but they were supposed to be compliments to the main fare and not covering up the limitations of it. Following that up, we got three pizzas; the first being a Lightning. With pepperoni and sausage, it was a standard pie that you could easily get anywhere. Here, it was greasy, overly cheesy, and salty, but all in a good way. It was something everyone enjoyed and the leftovers held up well that night and the next day. Also on the table was a Slam Dunk, a spicy choice only enjoyed by a few of our party. It had a nice amount of heat and some alright flavors, but it didn't have much that elevated it from similar pizzas in other places. Last we grabbed a Hog Wild, an oddly named selection off the specialty menu, that came with pepperoni, spinach, onion, mozzarella and prosciutto. This was the best thing on the table and something that easily boosted an alright / average lunch that was being dragged down by a disappointing appetizer back up to the pretty good territory that I ended up walking away with. All of this is tempered by fair service, slightly shabby surroundings that fit the sports bar atmosphere, on a Sunday afternoon when no one else seemed to be around until close to when we left about an hour later. It was an odd experience, not something you'd expect from such a place; where typically there are people to enjoy bar food and a game at any time and the food is pretty average for what you'd think you'd eat, I'm not sure why Oggi's isn't a bit more popular on the weekends. Still, it's lasted this long, I'm sure they're doing something right. read more

And before anyone at my table could answer he just walked away without taking our drinks/appetizers around. THE VIBE IS OFF HERE. I've been wanting to go here for awhile and finally stopped for lunch. There's a wrap around bar to the left with quite a few flat screen t.v.s I ordered a mimosa to cool myself down from the heat. Also lunch special with Cesar salad & flatbread pizza. The Cesar salad was really tasty, crisp lettuce with tangy dressing. The flat bread pizza was big for a lunch special; bigger than the plate it was on. I've never had pizza with artichoke on it. That was a first! and I subbed the tomatoes with pepperoni, also came w/ sweet onions, cucumber. The bartender was friendly. Sat at the bar so I chatted up the regulars, who knew the bartender by name. They gave me some food recommendations since I told them it was my first time there. Overall satisfied and would revisit for the food if we're in the area. Oggi's Special (The Works) pizza was excellent. Oggi's Famous Wings with honey BBQ, while they looked premade and tough, were happily eaten up by the kiddos. Service was okay. Our server, who was running solo, was friendly and still took good care of us while serving all the other patrons. Ambiance is casual and family friendly. Good place for families or to watch sports. its dark inside, no windows, but lots of TVs to watch a game. The menu is large and has something for everyone. We really enjoyed the wings and pizza. We ordered the quinoa, arugula, avocado salad and it was good but there was no quinoa or arugula, just spinach. North shore pizza was great! Loved the crust. Wings had a nice crispy outside with moist chicken inside - sauce flavors were tasty too. They also have their own line of beers that are pretty good. I like that you can do a beer flight with 2-4 beers. We really like the new Pog beer - super light and fruity, almost like a sour, very refreshing! Service was good until a little league team with about 40 people came in after a game. It slowed down a little but everyone was very friendly. Overall a good experience! read more
