Ive been back here a few times since the final NYK game as the World Cup was being shown here and I enjoy watching this once every 4 years. I dont have a TV or even subscribe to any streaming service so when I wanna see a game (or 5), I usually find a bar to enjoy. I came in here for 4 World Cup games and each time, the experience has been phenomenal. Why is this place good? Well, for one, the service is always good and the staff working here know what they are doing. Second, they have great deals so you're not breaking the piggy bank. Third, there are a lot of local clientele here and the atmosphere is really good, no weirdos for the most part and when its a US team playing, the crowd really is supportive! When the US won a game recently in the World Cup, the entire bar broke out singing John Denver Take Me Home, Country Roads. Who cares if its San Diego lol?? We all enjoyed and thats what makes this place awesome. Bar is comfy, lots of TVs and lots of regulars in here (I might become one too haha)... Ill be back! read more

I came here with my friends last Saturday to watch the World Cup: United States vs. Australia. We won and the crowd cheered on loudly! This was my first time watching any game at a sports bar, and it was a fun experience. The food was average and service was really slow but I still enjoyed being there. A great spot to have a few drinks and food while watching a game. Been coming here for years! I came in at 11:59 before the USA/ Australia Game. Parking was difficult but I managed to find a spot! There was a wait but luckily I was seated immediately. Food and drinks were excellent as well as the service received. I enjoyed my Pain Killers, seltzer, cheesy bread with pepperoni and salad. This is our first time at an Oggi's, we came here with our friends for trivia! Ashley, our server, was absolutely sweet and amazing. She treated us all incredibly well and will come back because of her service. They have great Happy Hour deals (3-6pm). I ordered the lettuce wraps which were fresh, filling and delicious! World Cup!!! Oggi's has been showing every World Cup soccer game! They've even changed their opening hours from 11:00am to 10:00am to accommodate the games (9:00am if there's a game at that time). In addition, they have a special World Cup menu that includes a Brat, double smash burger, a few other specials, and $5 pints. The employees always roll their eyes at me, and either give me a short response or literally don't say a word. Went here on Friday for happy hour! Got here at like 4:45pm and the parking lot was almost full! Had to park on the other side. It was even a rainy day too so this place seems pretty popular. And it was! The entire place was packed! I ordered the 50/50 Beersicle Cream Ale and the Loaded Fries. The beer was actually really good and I'm not usually a beer person! From 3-6pm on weekdays, the appetizers (except wings) are half off so we all got Loaded Fries, Short Rib Nachos, Crispy Sriracha Brussels Sprouts, and Oggi's Stix. When my Loaded Fries came out, it was HUGE! I didn't think it was going to be that big, so I was pleasantly surprised. The cheese was dry though. So I didn't really get to enjoy that when it came out. The bacon was extra crispy though so at least that was good. The Oggi's Stix looked good though! My family and I have not been in to this location before, shocking since it's so close to everything we do. We decided to check it out after practice on a Wednesday evening. It seems to be a great place to gather and watch sports on all the TVs they have. There are happy hour specials and Wing Wednesdays. The Padres game was on so that was perfect for our family. There are a handful of coin-op games in the corner as well, and there were some kids who were hanging out there. The service was ok. The young lady we had was either really busy with the tables she had, inexperienced as a waitress, or some combo of both. She was super sweet, but didn't check in with us and we had to ask for water refills a few times. The quality of food was ok too. We order fries, 2 kids pizzas, Oggi's cheese bread, lemon pepper wings and mild buffalo wings. My husband joined us slightly later and ordered a pepperoni pizza which took quite a long time to come out. And when it did, it was entirely the wrong pizza. The waitress misheard the order. The kitchen made another one, which took even more time, and the pizza that came out was dry and not appetizing at all. My husband was rather annoyed, and ended up not eating anything. We asked the pizza to be removed fr our check, and the waitress and manager were very nice about it. We would probably go back another time cause it's decent food and a convenient location. read more

I love coming to Oggi's whether it's for dinner with the family, football on Sundays or just picking up dinner on the way home. The beer selection is always amazing (I recommend the Torrey Pines IPA) if you're a chicken wing lover their Sweet chili wings are hard to beat. We haven't been in for a while just pickup so we came by for dinner at 5:30. There were a lot of tables open but the hostess sat us at a high top without asking. I can't sit at a high top because of back pain and nerve damage so we asked to sit at a table. There 6 tables open and two booths. We were told that we couldn't sit in the tables because a party of 20 was coming and after the party of 20 were seated there were still five tables are open and two booths the entire time we ate, but yet the hostess couldn't seat us and we sat in the lobby for over 20 minutes and missed happy hour because of it. We ordered our food and I got a chicken sandwich. I asked at the aïoli not be put on it. I came with the aïoli on it. The bacon on it was so burned. It sounded like I broke a tooth when I bit into it. The chicken was so dry it was chewy . I also found out halfway through my sandwich that they only put avocado on one side of the sandwich I paid extra for sweet potato fries and got a half portion of sweet potato fries. It was the only saving grace of the meal. The sweet potatoes were the best part and we didn't even get a normal portion of sweet potato fries. Just ordered food from Oggis. Large Pizza, 1 burger and two parmesan patty melt. Large pizza is more like a medium, the fries they have for the burgers are about 10 each. The side of fries probably had 12. Alll the burgers were over cooked. The food here is sub par, and you pay the same amount and get less subpar food. Time to finds a new place. read more

I have been to Oggi's a few times in San Diego near the airport. My favorite is the Italian chopped salad. It comes with chopped ham, cheese and pepperoni. I'm not a pepperoni person so I always ask for all ham and no pepperoni. What I love about the salad is it reminds me of eating a sub sandwich without the roll. My husband loves their selection of beer and the last time we went he ordered chicken tortilla soup which he said was the best he had ever had. If you really need your food on time because of a tight schedule, don't order from Oggi's. Over the last few months of ordering online the orders are at least 15 minutes later than the time of pickup. This time we ordered early in person, then we called later to confirm the order for pickup at 4:30. I got there at 4:25 and they lost the order. No clue. Manager (?) came over and found it. I paid. After 10 mins I asked about the order and all I got is smiles from the vacant-faced young women at the counter. Not 'it will be 10 minutes or 15 minutes', nothing. Well it was 25 minutes. It was Flatbread and wings!! How hard is that? I should not be surprised, this is commonplace in the restaurant industry - higher prices, poorer service and lower quality of food. After reading some of the negative reviews, I was worried. But we were meeting friends so I didn't make a fuss. The hostess wasn't the nicest, but wasn't rude. At that point I was getting what I expected more or less, but then a waitress came over and was super nice I started to feel better. Then another waitress helped us and was awesome and the experience just got better from there. Including the pizzas and salads. I would definitely come back. The best pizza on earth? Maybe not. Oggis's is a sports bar with multiple TVs around the restaurant/bar and seemed like a great place to grab a bite to eat after work. Our server was Drew who was spot on with providing service to our table. We ordered a medium pizza and a half order of salad to share. It was nice that the salad was presented separately on two plates instead of one bowl. Great for families! Large restaurant, a little noisy, which is great if you have kids, and they have a little video game area in the back and plenty of TVs to watch sports. For appetizers we had the beet salad, which was really tasty, and OG's famous wings which my husband loved. For entree, I had the charcuterie flatbread, and it was great ! My husband had the gluten-free pizza and he liked that too. The kids menu is great and my kid liked the spaghetti with meatballs. The service was OK - I think they forgot to bring us a water or something but not a huge deal and I thought that they did a great job considering how busy it was . The food is a serious disappointment. My family ordered takeout and we would have been better off hitting up a fast food joint. I ordered a side of fries and I kid you not.. maybe 12 fries in the $4 order of fries. The portions for fries on our meals weren't better at all. Paid by card. Oggi's is located in a plaza and offers plaza parking. I usually go here for dinner on weekday nights and am able to be seated right away. I go to Oggi's about once a month or once every month and am never disappointed. Oggi's has a great menu variety and I'm a fan of their pizza crust and garlic knots. This location has indoor seating. I usually get pizza, salad, wings, and garlic knots when I go and am happy with my orders. The servers are always friendly and quick here and come to check on the party frequently. It's a great environment for large groups and kids since there are TVs and some games. I would definitely recommend this place and will go back soon. read more

The area was kind of cramped, but the food was pretty good. Loved the garlic knots!!!! The crust on the pizza were yummy because I love crusts!!!! I've been coming here for a long time. I don't know what it is, but in the last year the quality of their food has gone downhill. Their garlic knots used to be so soft and garlicky and yummy and now they're super dry, can't taste garlic taste very bland. I used to love their ranch dressing now it's watered down and tastes gross. Their customer service is not as friendly as it used to be. They frequently miss ingredients in the food which is weird, and they never give utensils, even when you ask for them when ordering take out. If you must eat here, make sure you check, check and double check your food to ensure everything is there. It's s a bummer when you go to eat your meal and you don't have utensils or the sauces that you ask for or it's missing ingredients that don't make the meal what it is. read more
