Savannah was amazing. She had 10-12 tables and everyone was served efficient with a smile. She was so sweet. The food was delicious. Pizza, wings and fried zucchini. Served hot and fresh. The credit card machine and phones were down but she handled that situation with grace. The restaurant was full of sports tvs but the volume was at a great level so you could still speak with your table mates easily. Savanna was the highlight to the evening. Absolutely the worst service I have experienced in years. While we were seated right away, It was almost an hour before someone took our order. The waitress was focused on the table behind us and passed us at least 10 times without even glancing our way. Once our food came, but it was wrong. We then had to track another waitress down for assistance. We had to track yet a third person down for our bill, only to be told "you're not my table." We finally paid and we left zero tip. We've been coming for years! I always enjoyed the food & experience. The last 4x I've been very UN-happy with the food taste. It's mediocre at best. The service has been great. Two stars for the staff. The ambiance is old & lack luster. Especially the outside of the restaurant is so dirty & non inviting. I thought when they were closed for a bit they were fixing things up. Well definitely not the ex/interior. At least power wash the front & buy some colorful plants/ flowers to add to your front building. That's just my two cents. I had the best service here. Natalie, Drew, and Makenzie treated us so well. The TVs here are amazing, I love catching a padres game here, and they have my favorite beer frequently. Carmel Mountain location This was what I received when I ordered Chicken Tequila We ordered from them very often. My sister wanted Chicken Tequila which she had before and loved it. I ordered it for her birthday and when it was time to have dinner and opened the tray I was very upset that they used penne pasta and not the spinach noodles we always get! When I called they said that for big orders they used penne pasta instead of the regular noodles. I explained that they should have this information on their website and her response was, they will let corporate know. Not an apology or even some type of credit only a nonsense explanation!!! $70 dollar half of tray for penne pasta. Very dissatisfied and disappointed! I really don't like writing these types of reviews, but sometimes it just happens. We called two days in advance to let the restaurant know we had a group of 20 people showing up so they had warning. Anyway, our tables were reserved and when the whole group got there they brought pitchers of water which was nice. We placed our orders and after about 20 minutes items started coming out slowly. They forgot our guest of honors beer and didn't bring one of my coworkers food. They said they missed it and brought it out and said they would comp him. There was a manager there but we couldn't understand why she wasn't helping our waitress. Anyway, we had people trying to leave and no checks. The food was good, nothing to write home about. This was our first time visiting this location of Oggi's. We were very disappointed at first. We went earlier today (around 1 pm) for lunch. We had to wait 15 minutes for our table (not a big deal), so we went to the bar to get a drink while we waited. My buddy and I waited at the bar, while workers ignored us. We asked for help and the 4 individuals behind the bar kept walking. I understand if they are busy helping others, but at least tell us that they would help us shortly. We got nothing. Instead, we see two workers taking a shot of liquor right in front of us. When we finally got someone's attention (bartender I'm assuming), he seemed upset about needing to help us. We asked for a sample of a beer, which he did provide us. I asked about another beer and he was very short with his response. I understand that we all have our off moments, but to ignore us while right in front of you and then be short with us, that's not ok. When we went to our table, the waitress (Jamie) was very friendly to us. Our drinks and food was brought to us in a timely manner. She came to our table periodically to ask if we needed anything else. The food was very good. Oggi's Pizza and Brewing is a place where you can have good food, drinks, and plenty of TVs to watch football games. But when the initial impression is a bad one, it's difficult to recommend this location. read more

I had some Lemon pepper wings that had no flavor, and I sent them back, and they came back super greasy and still with no taste. I have been coming here for several years with friends and it literally gets worse every time. Came here with a friend for dinner earlier this week, we both ordered fish and chips. When it arrived my immediate thought was "fish fingers". The portions have got so ridiculously small while the prices keep going up. Staff are friendly but our waitress clearly had the IQ of a dead squid - I ordered mustard - she brought me mayonnaise and so it went on. The flat breads are impossible to eat as the fillings just fall off. Seriously soggy pizza. Chips are hit n miss - sometimes good, sometimes cold and hard - like they've been kickin around the back of the stove for several weeks. Great sports bar inside (so not a quiet dining experience) - fun place with TVs all around the ceiling. Very extensive menu. Good serving staff. Good cold beers. Nachos were pretty good. I got the tortilla soup which was good, but not my taste. It was more tomato soupy vs creamy cheesy like you get at other places. The California cobb was good sized, a lot of chicken on it, didn't have a lot of the other toppings it was suppose to & dressing just ok. Will try another salad next time. Good place for some sport's on the television, beer and good food. Stopped by here at 4 on Taco Tuesday! Not knowing they had Taco Tuesday but it just worked out well. So, the tacos are $3 but if you get a plate they are 3 for $11.99? Save a buck each but you order them single. Anyways, the place was sort of busy. Clean and customer service was amazing as it usually is. Never had any issues here they are always super friendly. Now the real stuff, the food: The tacos were, meh. Not great. Fish was cooked well but too much sauce. The sauce was delicious but too much overwhelmed the fish and the fish wasn't very big. 1 1/2 inch square about the length of the taco. Could have had more fish and less sauce. But it is Taco Tuesday so maybe they give smaller portions like a few Taco Tuesday spots do. I wander how many times I can get Taco Tuesday (5) in this review? k.s. The kids pizza was very good. They are definitely good at pizza here. I will stick to the more traditional bar foods next time. Garlic boneless wings were over cooked and dry, hot wings were overly salty and the chicken piccata was not even edible. Place is crowded this Saturday afternoon. Aztecs basketball is on. It was a half hour wait for a table at 2pm. Fish and chips was made with frozen/defrosted cod. Batter was thin and had some crunch. Sadly the ends of the fish dried out and were hard. This is what caused me to give up on frozen fried fish sticks from the supermarket. While the batter had a nice salty flavor the cod didn't have much flavor. Fries had a nice potato flavor. I tried one honey bbq wing. Nice and juicy with a delicious sweet flavor from the sauce. Reminds me of Buffalo Wild Wings but you get much more meat on these wings. Raspberry jam shortbread reminded me of a Pop Tart. The jam was intensely sweet while the shortbread didn't taste like much as the jam overloaded my taste buds. I love sweet things but this is one of those rare times where I'm going to tap out as this dish is too sweet for me. This place has a great game area. I found a Lord of the Rings pinball machine in the corner. I played several games and found this machine to be in very good working order. Flippers were highly responsive and the features in good working order. I got into multi ball mode many times and it was very challenging. I was able to win a free ball and a free game. My high score was 16M. :-) The food here is hit or miss but there is an awesome pinball machine. read more

After a whole year of not going to Oggis I decided to give it another shot. Surely some of the terrible staff must've been fired by now and replaced with more competent employees. However, I was wrong. Same confused and overwhelmed employees as last time. Had to wait a solid 10 minutes at the door before even being acknowledged with a scowl. One star bonus for being walking distance from my apartment, Oggi's satisfies more than most chain restaurants. A perfect combo of an adult bar with a kid-friendly vibe, Oggi's offers a fairly diverse menu. Although I usually walk, there are plenty of parking spots in the strip mall. Their pizzas are good, but not the best in San Diego by any stretch. They have a full bar, but IPA lovers should note that they often have Russian River on tap, including Pliny and Blind Pig. Service is always friendly- the last time we were there after my son's baseball game and the waitress did a great job of splitting up the tab for like 20 people! If you're in the Sabre Springs neighborhood, you know there aren't many options. Oggi's will always be a destination when needing something local, friendly and yummy! read more

I ordered a meatball sandwich and a strawberry margarita. It was not busy at all. The waitress was nice but I didn't go there for nice. The margarita tasted awful. When I got my sandwich, it was hot but the bread had to be frozen, then microwaved. The meatballs didn't have much flavor. I couldn't eat the microwaved bread and my appetite decreased 100%. I told the waitress and she said they had their best cook there. I will not return to that place! I've had better subs and to pay $25 for a lunch and get crappy food and a drink is bad!
