This is the best peruvian restaurant in Florida and probably in the U.S. The service is excellent and the sangria and pisco sour are the best I've had in years. The food is beyond delicious. The Lomo Slatado is the most delicious beef fillet sautéed with onions, tomatoes and cilantro with delicious white rice and home made fries. This place is very good, the arroz con marisco is rich and well seasoned (the rice is soaked in a type of fish soup, after they take it out of that soup, it goes dry on your plate, well moist), they put plenty of seafood in the plate. Then, the chaufa de mariscos is also really good, the seasoning is also perfect (right amount of soy sauce) and plenty of seafood too. The pescado a lo macho is also really good, the sauce is creamy good. I gave them 4 stars because the ceviche did not impress me, and if you know me I'm big on a well served ceviche. The atmosphere is really nice, the staff super friendly, pisco sours really good, and if you like the peruvian sweet red wine, they have a Borgoña from Lunahuana city, it's very good. read more

Let me start with the "Piqueo Criollo". It was AMAZING!! It included a lot of dishes that are not normally served in Peruvian restaurants, I.e. Papa rellena, tamal de chancho, chicharrón de puerco. So if you like Peruvian food - West Broward is the place. There are 5 really strong contenders for good Peruvian. Oh Ceviche, La Perla, Ceviche Aragato, are some of them. I would say they all have their specific areas of speciality but none are bad. For those of you that know much about Peruvian - try it. Why? Because I said so! Not enough? Well, Peruvian is an interesting story. So South America has always - since at least the late 1900's a place where Chinese and Japanese people immigrated when leaving their homeland. Post WW2 when we were not so nice to people that looked of any Asian descent and their own home countries were decimated - they looked for places to go. Mexico - was and is - well Mexico - but Peru like Brazil is stable and for both cultures but especially the Japanese have an especially abundant supply of fresh fish. What occurred with this immigration i a beautiful blend of traditional native culture mixed with Chinese and Japanese. In fact, the dish of the country is called Lomo Saltado - which is a blend of all three cultures in one dish. They have their own word for Chinese Peruvian called Chaufa. So you have three separate cultures all homogenized into one beautiful cuisine. Ceviche is very native, sushi is very Japanese and then the stir fry are of course Chinese. The difference is a great amount of truly fresh food mixed with some very Asian cooking techniques. When looking for the restaurant - especially one of this many positive reviews you would not expect to find it in this shopping center. To say it has had better days is a bit of an understatement. The quaint interior is clean and serviceable. The staff is attentive and always greats with a smile. The food is highly authentic and from my three dining experiences always fresh. I would say of all the Peruvian places in West Broward their ceviche is probably my favourite. Until my next Peruvian power lunch - dine fine. read more

Went on a Saturday night with a few friends and had a lovely time. My friends had ceviche, a few different types which I don't recall the names but they all loved it. I started with papa la huancaina which was absolutely delicious. For my entrée I ordered aji de gallina which is the best I've ever had even the one I've had at home! (Don't tell anyone). At Oh, we had the Corvina fish ceviche it was great. It was paired with a piece of sweet potato. I had a 2lb fried snapper with quinoa it was excellent the quinoa was very flavorful. I was in Davie with friends and came up with this "jewel" of Peruvian food. It's a family owned restaurant with high standards of food quality and excellent service. We wish we lived in the neighborhood to go back. The best frozen lemonade, which our lovely server recommended. The owner came to talk to us and tell us the story of the business.
