This restaurant is a treat. They have authentic Peruvian food that tastes great. Everything is really fresh. My friend and I ordered lunch specials. It comes with a can of soda, appetizer and entree. This is valid Monday through Friday from 11:30am to 4pm. It is a great value. I ordered Causa for my appetizer. It is a potato with avocado, your choice of chicken or tuna and sliced egg. I chose the chicken. This appetizer was OK. I ate most of it but would not order it again. It lacked flavor. I ordered Lomo Saltado. This is beef tenderloin with a delicious sauce and white rice and fries. This was delicious. My friend ordered ceviche and a different entree. It looked similar to mine. I forgot the name.of it. She was happy with her lunch. Our server was excellent. He was very attentive and helpful with suggestions.
Must try spot if you like Peruvian food. I recommend trying the Causa as an app. The tuna one is really good. Causa is like a cold casserole made of potatoes with a creamy tuna mixture. This resturant serves it with a slice of avocado. As a dish the Anticuchos and Tallarines a la Huacaina with skirt steak are great choice. The sauce of the Tallarines is flavorful and the skirt was a great pair. The steak was a decent size and also cooked very flavorful. One of my guests had the pulpo roll which was good but a bit over powering on the onion flavor. I always stick to the classic dishes when I go to a Peruvian restaurant because those will be the best hit. On the weekends they sell picarones. They only make a certain batch so ask your server if they have any left. Picarones are a sweet fried dough dessert served with a delicious sweet dip like syrup. Highly recommend to try this restaurant.
This is our second visit, it's literally across the road from us! This time around we had the Parrilla Mariscos and the Chaufa con Pollo. This place doesn't miss, the food is amazing. It was fresh and served super hot with two types of hot sauces to match, salsa verde and ricotto. Next visit we'll explore the ceviche menu again. If you're in the mood for Peruvian cuisine at a price that won't break the bank this is the place.
Great local place to get some authentic and delicious ceviche and other Peruvian dishes! We started off with the lemonade and it was made in house and delicious. We then got the causa sampler, which was also very good as it had a variety of either chicken, shrimp, fish. For our main dishes, we got the risotto with pollo saltado as well as the jalea. The service was also impeccable! From the moment we walked in, we were always warmly greeted, and our server continued to check in on us throughout our meal to make sure everything turned out the way we wanted it to. Definitely recommend!
Really really good food coupled with very friendly service. Ceviche is star of the show, of course, as the name suggests. We ordered mixed triple ceviche with three different sauces, bueno! It is family owned, and the device is my current better than in many other places in So Florida. Prices are fairly reasonable. The main dishes, both fish and beef, were quite good too. Soup is the meal in its own right too. Highly recommend.
This place is jumping! Even when it is an off time at other restaurants, most tables are full here. Our server was so nice but I forgot to ask his name. The atmosphere is cozy and clean. They have lunch specials Monday thru Friday until 4pm. This is the menu we ordered off of. It comes with your choice of soda or iced tea. I chose the ceviche and steak with rice and fries. This steak was delicious!! Rice is rice and fries were okay. I also enjoyed the complimentary nuts as a little starter. I liked the ceviche but it was not cold. I like my ceviche cold. Anyhow, this was still good. I tried that cheese potato appetizer my friend ordered. It had a unique taste. She wished she ordered my ceviche. I tried her Peruvian fried rice with beef. The beef was dry but the dish as a whole was good and it came out HOT. I liked the rice. We shared a slice of chocolate cake. This could have been better. I wanted the whipped cream dessert with cinnamon but she wanted this. All.in all a great restaurant.
This place was okay. If you don't eat seafood do not come here. The food of overall was okay. The pasta was good. Not what I expected. The service was okay and the restaurant was not busy at all but the decor was beautiful and the music was not too loud. The passion fruit moose was soo good ( not pictured) I would come here again because of the pasta, but it's not a meat friendly place just seafood.
First time coming here and the food did not disappoint! We got the lomo Saltado which was amazing and we did the lunch special that came with an appetizer! We choose the ceviche and the ceviche on a toston! Everything was great and customer service was good! The place is nice and small & plays good music. 10/10
Where do I even begin. This restaurant is a hidden gem in my opinion. It's a small family owned restaurant with Amazing Peruvian food. They are very attentive to detail and service. The food is outstanding and it's the staple of the restaurant. The dishes definitely don't lack and flavor and the creativity in dishes are top notch. 10 out of 10 and I would strongly encourage anyone who is in the mood for Peruvian cuisine to try this place out.
My wife and I went for breakfast on July 28th... if you know you know. The ambiance was nice, it's a small place but really nice and clean. The service was great, they were kind even on a busy day. The overpriced $23 lomo saltado tasted BURNT, what a disappointment for a $200 meal (everything is overpriced, $4 for extra onions). Owner says it's a family restaurant, but she was snappy & disrespectful in front of my four children because I didn't agree with her exuberant 21.5% in fees and gratuity added to my check. She kept snapping back at me because I asked them not to charge more than what was stated on my receipt, then she refused to give me a to-go cup because she has the personality of a stubborn child (see her response below). This "owner" doesn't appreciate your business, DON'T GO THERE. I will NEVER return.
We were absolutely craving ceviche and after some searching around on yelp we ended up checking out Oh Ceviche. We stopped by around 1pm on a Sunday and the restaurant was actually very busy, with almost all available tables filled! The interior has a small but welcoming feel with about 10 tables. Currently they are only seating about half of those tables due to Covid. As we walked to the front to order we looked around at the plates other guests had and wow! Beautifully presented dishes with really large portions, so we were very excited! After scrolling through the contactless menu on our phones we placed a takeout order for Fish Ceviche and one Classic Tiradito. We were told our order would take about 20 minutes. To give all of the other guests some space and not take up another table in the restaurant, we sat outside on a bench to wait for our food. We checked back in a few minutes early and our order was ready. The Tiradito was very interesting. It was my first time tasting Tiradito and I really liked it. It's much creamier than ceviche and has a sweeter taste to it. The ceviche was delicious, I loved the marinate and the size of the pieces of fish were perfect bites. Both dishes came with a few green, sliced red onions, Peruvian corn, and sweet potato. These sweet potatoes were the sweetest most tasty sweet potatoes I have ever tried! The order also came with a complimentary side of what I know to be called Canchita, however I don't know it's that is the official name, and two very flavorful and spicy sauces. The portions of both dishes were super large! We had leftovers that made up a whole other meal! Overall I loved the experience. Their menu has a great variety of Peruvian dishes and I look forward to trying more new Peruvian dishes I haven't had before whenever we visit Oh Ceviche again! read more

This place is fantastic. As a Peruvian, I can vouch that this is very authentic and delicious. The staff are wonderful and the food is always fresh. My wife and I typically come here to eat lunch and dinner and I have to say that the causa, papa a la huancaiana, pescado lo macho, and huancaiana risotto are our go-to dishes! read more

Was in Hollywood for the night. A friend from Peru recommended this place. We got there as the kitchen was getting ready to close 8:15. My wife ordered the house Ceviche. (Good,not great) I ordered the the Beef Lomo (It's the best I have ever had.) I would recommend to anyone to order this typical Peruvian dish. Must try if you are in Hollywood. The customer service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. The restaurant is beautiful. I ordered tuna in a mango sauce, but unfortunately, I didn't quite enjoy it. The tuna tasted good but the sauce was a bit too sour for my liking, so the combination didn't work for me. Overall, though, I was fairly satisfied. This place is great! We stumbled upon it by accident and after checking out the menu decided to give it a try. The staff were welcoming and helpful in explaining some things in the menu we weren't familiar with. I have never tried Peruvian food before so this was an adventure! The inside of the restaurant is small but decorated in a way that it doesn't feel cramped. It was a Wednesday afternoon and not too busy inside but it looks like they do a lot of to-go orders. I ordered a passion fruit juice (which was more like a smoothie) which was tangy and sweet and great complement to the rest of my meal. All the sodas are canned and served with a glass of ice. (Just a disclaimer, we did not try any ceviche this time.) We started with the empanadas which were amazing. They took a little long to come but that's because they are handmade and absolutely delicious. They are served with a side of yellow pepper sauce which really made the flavor pop. If you've never had a fresh empanada you are truly missing out!! For our meals, my wife and mother both ordered the Tacu-Tacu A lo Pobre. It's a nice sized piece of skirt steak served with a fried egg on top, white rice, and plantains. They both thought it was very good and the portion was large enough that we had some to take home. I tasted some of the steak and it was cooked and seasoned perfectly. I tried the Linguine a la huancaina with chicken. It's a creamy pasta base the protein on the side and lots of tender juicy onions. It's sort of like a Peruvian Alfredo but much more flavorful. Overall, a wonderful experience and it was exciting to try a new cuisine. I will definitely be back and hopefully try a seafood dish next time as this seems to be their specialty. It was reasonably priced for the quality and quantity of food you receive. This review is quite overdue, but I've been here a couple of times now. This low-key Peruvian restaurant located inside of a small strip mall in Davie serves classic, authentic Peruvian fare. So far, the food has been consistently good with generous portion sizes and service has been excellent. Everything we've tried here has been delicious from the fresh ceviche to the cooked dishes such as the chaufa, lomo saltado, and aji de gallina. The Causa Tricolor was something new to try and it was actually a cold dish. It consisted of three round potato-ey pieces with each one topped with chicken, shrimp, or tuna. It looked pretty and tasted flavorful. Despite all the food options in Broward, I'd definitely make a return visit to this place. read more
So fresh! So Good! Don't miss it! We ordered the Ceviche Mixto - one of the best I've ever had. All the ingredients were so fresh. The bright citrus juice plus the chili peppers and seasonings further accentuated the overall freshness of the seafood. The sweet potato was the perfect foil to counter the sourness of the dish. The Lomo Saltado was a surprise as well. We are used to the meat being too tough in other restaurants. Even when I order the wrong thing I get it right! I go to Oh Ceviche as often as I can and I love it every time. The food was delicious and the restaurant was already gearing up for the holiday season with their decor. Today, I ordered the ceviche de pescado as an appetizer and it was just as fresh as always. Growing up I've had ceviche many times but I never thought to pair it with sweet potato, whoever thought of that is genius. Going into the restaurant I had my mind set on Pescasdo a la Chorillana but I mixed up the names and I accidentally ordered Pescado a lo Macho. Ordering the wrong thing can be a real bummer sometimes but not here! I loved their pescado a lo macho as well. The Pescado a lo Macho had a nice crispy outer layer to go along with the tender fish meat. The sauce is to die for. And the presentation, food for your eyes. I also had a taste of the Tacu Tacu with lomo. Not sure what it's made of but it's really good! By the way, everything I mentioned is on the lunch menu- except for the Tacu Tacu. Either way, the selection is great. Funny enough, now, I have an excuse to go back soon and order the dish I had in mind. I can't wait! read more

This place doesn't look like much from the outside and is easy to miss, but I would definitely recommend it! Everything we got was great, and it was such a nice day to eat outside. I've been looking for good papa a la huancaina since a Peruvian friend of mine made it, and this satisfied the craving. And they give you free Peruvian corn nuts! read more
Pros: what a little gem! Large servings, great food, extra sauce and canchita for free! We shared the ceviche de pescado, mom ordered the anticucho, hubby had the corvina con Huacatay sauce, and I had the tuna causa, everything was delightful! Amazing experience from beginning to end. We decided to have a late lunch after our girls tournament and everything was yummy . My husband and I each ordered the ceviche mixta and it was soooo yummy. We also ordered jalea double to share. Delicious with actually pieces of seafood lightly breaded. My daughters ordered the shrimp ceviche and CHAUFA Rice with meat. Amazing dishes! We will definitely come back. Thank you very much for amaZing service as well. Forgot to mentioned that we were in a large group and the separated our bills with no hesitation. I'm included 2 pics. Always fresh and tasty! We had ceviche mixto, Aji de Gallina (creamy chicken breast in a yellow pepper sauce with egg and potatoes) juices are delicious ! My favorite is the mora (blackberry) juice. They have more lot of dish options just ask the server since some of them are not on the menu. read more
Overall great food , was not very taken back by the ceviche - since in my opinion if your restaurant name has "ceviche" on it - then I would expect the ceviche to be mind blowing . It was good , but it wasn't mind blowing. The juices were very tasty , had the passion fruits juice , which was great . Also had the green noodles with medium rare steak - which was clocked perfectly . Service , was also good , so no real complaints there . Family night at my house. We invited my 86 year old father for dinner. Seniors are extremely picky eaters. As well as VEGANS! Combine the two and you have yourself a pretty good challenge finding a place to eat. We decided on Peruvian. Figured we would face that challenge head on. LOL Called a few places before we found this gem that actually has a few Peruvian dishes made especially for Vegans! We ordered the vegan Causa (a mashed potato like salad), vegan ceviche (yes! Vegan), and vegan Tallarín saltado (vegetable pasta stir fry). For the non-vegans, we ordered the Aji de Gallina (shredded chicken in a cheese sauce with rice) and Mariscos Saltado (seafood stir fry). Vegan dishes: The cebiche had all the delicious flavors minus the fish. It was made with mushrooms. It was really good. Except, I would suggest using an oyster mushroom rather than the traditional white mushroom. It was definitely an excellent try. The Causa had vegan mayo, and vegetables instead of the traditional tuna. Also tasty. My only advice, LESS mayo. But that is really an individual thing. There are some who love all the mayo. The vegetable pasta stir fry was really great. Full of flavor and pasta cooked to my taste of perfection. My dad actually loved it. The Mariscos saltado was really good too! Perfect in salt, tenderness, excellent in flavor. I had it with the pasta because the vegans devoured the rice and fries it came with. And it was a perfect combo. The Aji de Gallina was delicious too. Although I'd like To say it is really tough to mess this dish up, it was really good and they served a really good portion. As this place caters to vegans, I would definitely come back. Vegans have time time eating at Peruvian restaurants. And it's a shame because Peruvian food is so delicious. But I learned that this restaurant has a family member that is vegan. And that is why they are creating dishes with all the flavor, but for vegans too. I love that! I recommend all foodies try this place. I would try it just for the vegan consideration, but I have to recommend it for the flavors. That was the food. I have to touch on the service. As you enter, they have signs everywhere for Covid safety. They ask you sanitize your hands when you come in. I ordered take out, and I paid when I came in. The server asked where I was parked so she could bring the food to me. I didn't wait long, and she came out and put it in my car. No contact. They were super nice and helpful when I was ordering. They gave suggestions. Were patient (so hard when you are Asking for vegan choices) and so helpful. I believe this part of the experience contributed toward my five star rating. I'd consider this place a hole in the whole based on the location (Broward). This place is pure authentic Peruvian food. The restaurant is small but it gets full quickly. I've came here with my mom and she loves it. The ceviche is delicious and fresh! The staff is friendly and always filled with recommendations. The Lomo Saltado is so yummy and the portion is prefect. For all my Broward people that love ceviche, this place is a must, they will not let you down. The prices are acceptable and the restaurant is always clean. I'm not too much of a ceviche fan but when I come to Oh Ceviche you'll catch me ordering ceviche; ironic huh!? lol.
