Corn dog
Randy W.

We love it! What kid doesn't like a corn dog?! Especially when you can get it covered in hot cheetos!! Mmmm Make sure you are clear when ordering. The Spanish speaking people manning the register got one of our orders wrong else we'd give it 5 stars! Pro tip order the premium hot dog and add to it.

Hot Cheetos mozza dog

Stopped by for a snack while at H-Mart. Got the Hot Cheetos Mozza dog, a glorified fried cheese stick coated in hot Cheetos dust. If you like spicy and gooey, it's as glorious as it sounds. Spicy, crunchy, cheesy. All of the above. Don't be in a rush - they make everything to order and can get busy, but you're getting something hand made as you order, so well worth it. I haven't tried their egg toasts but they look like they'd be great breakfasts or brunches.

I love their egg toasts. Egg is always perfectly cooked, soft and creamy. You can upgrade to garlic toast, but I prefer the regular toast as the garlic toast makes it more oily and heavy. They have a counter of complimentary condiments from flavored sauces to parmesan cheese and garlic butter sprinkles. Fairy get addition to your garlic toast and corn dogs. I tried their corn dogs before and was very disappointed at the plain, unseasoned batter. Because of that I've never tried it again and when I do come back, I've always opted for their egg toast.

I tried the Cheddar Hot (pork) Dog - absolutely delicious! Oddly, it didn't feel heavy to eat - the coating is crispy and not too thick. The cheddar cheese paired really well, and the pork hot dog was in good ratio to the batter. I tried the spicy chili and garlic dipping sauces. I would definitely come back to try the toast sandwiches!

2. Rice Cake Dog (Pink)

Located in the H Mart food court, Oh K Dog serves Korean rice hotdogs. They use a stick to deep fry the item resulting in a crisp golden brown crunch. They offer a variety of fillings with a choice of mozzarella cheese, rice cake and potato and more. The rice breading is very crisp and crunchy and has great texture and flavor. My favorite items are the mozzarella cheese and the rice cake. They also offer a variety of great seasonings to add additional flavor including honey butter, Parmesan cheese, onion sprinkle or coconut. They have dipping sauces as well including ketchup, honey mustard, sweet chili and garlic sauce. It makes for a great Korean street food experience.

This is located in the H mart in the food court area. They didn't disappoint. The food court has a huge TV playing Kpop while you eat. I had the avocado toast add cheese on garlic toast. Chefs kiss

Finally found a place with these mozz dogs! Of course I had to try the hot Cheeto one! Service is a walk-up counter, they'll give you a beeper for when your order is ready so you can walk around or find seating. Return the beeper when you pick up your order. Highly recommend the white garlic sauce condiment on the side, it's delicious! Simple ordering and food is ready fast just a few minutes. I will definitely be back!

Located in the HMart food plaza, Oh K Dog is our go-to for Korean corndogs. My husband and I always get two potato mozzarella dogs, which feature perfectly crisped cubes of potatoes and flour batter and gooey mozzarella stick in the center with a surprisingly satisfying cheese pull. We opt for the garlic tahini dip and the chili dip, which are our favorite dips. The garlic is slightly creamy with good umami while the chili dip is a tad bit tangy with a mild level of spiciness. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area & have a hankering for a greasy & filling appetizer before your entree.

Briana N.

It's dangerous how convenient these are to get. But I've been several times and it's always hot delicious, and with the perfect cheese pull. The prices aren't too bad. And it's the perfect size for where if you're not too hungry, it'll fill you up. But it's also not too big where if you want to eat some other food, you'll be too full. I love that the sauce station is self serve so you can really customize your corndog.

Thu T.

The perfect snack at HMart! Corn Dogs: Look at the size!! It's huge!! I would say it's around 2/3 of the size of my forearem!! And I just love big portions. My go to is the classic oh k dog with sausage inside. It's crispy on the outside, and the batter is chewy and soft, combine with the savory sausage, creating a perfect bite. The cheese corn dog is also a great option!! Sauce: Man! I have to vouch for the Garlic Dipping Sauce! I could drink it by itself!!! Like other HMart vendors, you go there, order, and they'll give you a buzzer. They have a sauce counter in the area for you to get whatever you want. It does take sometimes to get your food since they have to deep fried, so I don't really recommend eating if you're in a rush. Highly recommended! Fun vibes and Kpop music at HMart will sure give you a good time. If you haven't had corn dogs before, this is an awesome place to start. If you have had American corn dogs before, forget about it! This is much better!!!

Bacon, egg, and cheese toast on garlic bread

I've tried a couple of their hot dogs and they were good, but their toast is amazing! Highly recommend to get the garlic bread toast! I'm also a fan of their lemonade slushie. It's not overly sweet. Their staff is always friendly and helpful and I love the casual ambiance.

Mozza dog and squid ink half and half
Michelle W.

This is my second time trying a Korean hot dog from here. Thanks to people raving about on social media I wanted to try the mozza dog and squid ink half and half. Saturday afternoon in the food court is busy however there wasn't a line to order. You order and get a pager. There were a few orders before mine. While I was waiting, I watched their tv screens of muk bang videos of people eating Korean hot dogs. Cheese pull and ASMR from the crunch...Woot woot. Once my items were ready I asked for a bag to take it to go. I got home and it was so crispy on the outside! I didn't get any sauces, but I need to see what I can dip these in for next time. Definitely enjoyed the food today.

Potato Mozza dog and Premium Beef Hot Dog
Jinna R.

Other hotdogs steps aside, there is a new K-dog in town! Oh K-dog has got you covered with a variety of amazing choices: Squid ink half & half, Potato Mozza dog (my favorites), Sweet potato Mozza, Oh K classic, Premium beef, Cheddar, and Half Mozza half hot dog. These are just a handful of the flavor combinations available. Their hot dogs are super crispy, and soft inside so there is no wrong choice--let your tum be your guide! Note: Their egg toast is a bit sweet for our liking. PRO-TIP: create the ultimate sauce to eat with their hot dogs and thank me later. Making the sauce by adding everything at the condiment station; ketchup, mustard, honey mustard, sweet & hot chili sauces, garlic dipping sauce, onion sprinkle, and Parmesan cheese, mix well, and enjoy it with your hot dogs! You're welcome!

As a…read moreKorean American who's spent a lifetime eating great Korean food at home and in restaurants, my standards are high. That said, this was easily the best Korean meal I've had in Austin, and honestly, it might be the best I've had in Texas. The soondubu arrived absolutely piping hot. I ordered the mushroom version, and it was packed with a wide variety of mushrooms rather than just a few token pieces. Even when ordered spicy, the broth still had incredible depth and flavor that wasn't just heat for the sake of heat. The tteokbokki was addictive. We ended up adding cheese and ramen, which took it to another level. The marinated kalbi was equally impressive: high-quality meat with very little fat and generous portions. The banchan was also top-tier. Standouts included the soy-glazed potatoes, fresh kimchi, and japchae. They also serve purple rice, which has a wonderful chewy texture and feels like a more thoughtful alternative to standard white rice. The food alone would bring me back, but the service was excellent as well; friendly, attentive, and efficient. We came for an early dinner and got seated right away, but if you're planning to come during peak dinner hours, expect a wait. The locals clearly know this place is something special. Huge parking lot and the dining area is bright and airy, even playing the world cup games. Seems to be very family friendly.

The cold noodles had a great taste, but were not served with any accompaniment except some ginger. The six pieces of galbi we ordered included one piece that was purely gristly and bone. No seasoning and weirdly chewy meat on the remaining pieces. I wouldn't recommend the BBQ here. We had a pretty uncomfortable table wedged between a large family dinner and the server station, blocked from the windows by a giant wall.

For meats we tried a solid mix including finger steak, beef tongue, pork belly (both regular and thin), and even beef intestine. We also went through all the banchan, and my parents ordered the veggie pancake and spicy tofu soup. Overall everything was really good. We didn't get a single bad cut and everything was flavorful and cooked well. What really made this place stand out though was the service. MJ took care of us and was incredible from start to finish. Since it was our first time, she walked us through the menu and even helped cook the meats so we could actually relax and enjoy our time together. She stayed on top of the grill, swapping it out right when needed, and was always checking in to see if we needed anything or wanted more banchan. What stood out the most was how thoughtful she was with my parents. She made sure they had food on their plates without overdoing it, which was such a small detail but meant a lot. The food was great, but MJ really made the experience. Definitely coming back.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with genuine warmth and such positive energy. The welcoming atmosphere, attentive service, and chill vibe made us feel right at home. Every dish we ordered was outstanding and packed with flavor. The seafood pancake was cooked to crispy perfection, something that's surprisingly hard to find, as it's often left a bit doughy at other restaurants. The steamed egg was light, fluffy, and comforting, while the spicy tofu pork soup was phenomenal. It had just the right amount of heat, with silky, melt-in-your-mouth tofu and incredibly tender pork belly that paired perfectly with a bowl of rice. What truly elevated the experience, though, was the service. At one point I accidentally dropped my chopsticks, and before I could even ask for another pair, one of the servers noticed from across the restaurant and immediately brought me a new set. It's those small, thoughtful touches that really set a restaurant apart. SOHA exceeded my expectations in every way. Narrow Street 512 serves up Authentic Korean food with a personal touch. It feels like you're eating a home cooked meal at your Aunt's home in Korea. I experienced Narrow Street as a solo diner. My go-to dish I order 90 percent of the time I go there is the Chadol Plate (A3). It is beef brisket. You normally need to go to a KBBQ spot and get covered in a layer of smoke. Skip smelling like a campfire and get A4 at Narrow Street. The beef brisket comes with rice served in a metal bowl. You get 3 or four small plastic containers of banchan the rotates seasonally. There is a variety of different kimchi, fish cake, corn slaw, potato salad and more. Once in a while I like to switch it up and I order the Cold Noodles (F1) or squid and pork stir fry (A4). The cold noodles are refreshing with crisp cucumber, white radish kimchi, and korean pear. The noodles are bouncy with a nice chew. Great in Summer and Winter. The Squid and pork stir fry comes with a bowl of rice and it is quite spicy. It is spicier than average but still less spicy than Thai chili. The chewy squid and pork are nicely complemented with the crunchy stir fried cabbage. Once you taste it you can't stop eating it. The price at Narrow Street very reasonable for what you get in my opinion. It is sit down restaurant quality food in a fast casual setting. You can dine solo or go in a big group as there is plenty of seating at the Hmart Food court. You place your order at the counter and they give you a buzzer to alert you to go pick up your trays of food. The Korean ladies who work there are super friendly and will help you make your menu selection if you have any questions. I've been a dedicated regular since 2023. Parking is decently okay, my only complaint is the spaces are small and I don't have a big car, just a 4-door sedan and it barely fit in the spot. So if you have a big car or a nice one, I would recommend parking a bit further away and just walking to the restaurant. I am going to focus more on the cooked items as most people here already gave their review on the sushi. Hangover ramen, not too bad. It is like Shin Ramen Instant Noodles with a lighter flavor, nice touch with the bean sprout as it is a needed texture element. Add the gyoza into it and it makes it even better. Cucumber salad, not bad at all. It is missing a bit of spice to it. A touch of chili oil on it would kick this dish up a bit. It is refreshing and a must at the table. Truffle fries, please skip this. No salt on the fries if you are okay with it. It is just a bit of truffle oil and Parmesan cheese sprinkled on top. It is lacking in flavor. Yaki Udon, skip this as well. Not sure if it was just the day I went but the sauce was not so great. It was this sweet and sour taste but it was swimming on the bottom of the bowl like the sauce was poured on top of it at the end instead of being stir-fried into it in a wok or a pan. The first few bites are okay but the bottom half is just swimming in that sauce. Spicy Pork Bulgogi, decent size overall, not too bad. I would order like kimchi rice to eat with it next time if I come back. I do wish it was a bit more charred just to give it a bit of a textual element to it. also another thing to note, the bathroom is shared with the restaurant next door to it.
