The egg sandwich was tasty and the upgrade to the garlic bread definitely made it better than just the regular plain bread. One sandwich was almost $10 which is pretty pricey but it satisfied the curiosity I had of finally trying this chain. My main complaint was one that may not be of Oh K Dog themselves, but rather the rules set in place by the mall that all of the food stalls have to follow. There are literally no napkins in sight. There are none for customers on the tables or counters. Instead, the customers are expected to ask the workers for napkins. The lady gave us two single ply napkins and caught an attitude when I asked for more. We got a mozzarella and a sausage hot dog covered in cinnamon sugar. The line was pretty long so it took quite a while to get our orders. The mozzarella cheese was very stretchy and tasted delicious. I would say the cinnamon sugar didn't quite go with the hotdogs and it would have been better with the plain sugar. The sauces were laid out to put on your own. It wasn't too buttery, which was a good thing. The bread was perfectly grilled and crispy but there was a lot of it left over at the end. This would be amazing for breakfast!! The corn dog was good but I felt like there was a miscommunication because he called my number then asked if we wanted cinnamon sugar on the corndog when we ordered the 2 flaming dogs. I told him I ordered the flaming dog and he asked to see the receipt. He said our order is not ready yet. We were like okay. I ordered one more corn dog from him. I felt like he made a mistake and didn't want to own up to it but it's fine. Then proceeded to serve people who came after us who then got there order before us. I love this place and I was so happy to find it! I was concerned about gluten because a local mochinut joint told me that they have flour but the owner here told me about the ingredients and that they only use rice and potato flour and starch. It was so reassuring to hear someone know what they were talking about. The owner gave us great service and made suggestions about some of the popular items and recommended the blueberry donuts because they just came out of the oven. Everything was hot and fresh! Being that it was in a mall foodcourt was quite the surprise, I didn't expect to find something so cute and trendy in mall foodcourt. This was a restaurant I've never seen or tried before, but I'm glad I did. They serve battered hot dogs, egg toast, and deep-fried doughballs with mochi inside. I only had the potato hot dog and mochi balls, but I would regularly come back to these locations to try more things off their menu. I just didn't like how the food was served. When I ordered my items, they each came in individual baskets, which were hard to carry to my table. If I had just ordered one item, this problem would be fine, but these baskets need to be improved. It wasn't that good and definitely not worth it for that much. The breading was so thick that the wiener itself wasn't fully hot. We also ordered the mochi donuts that they had there. The plain one was definitely plain and we also got a glazed one. It's good, but very sweet. The staff are friendly and fast. There are a lot of tables and chairs in the food court to eat your food. That' was our favorite. It is so so simple but made perfect the way the bread was toasted, eggs were cooked and the sauce. Sweet Potato half and half hot dog-- this is the half cheese half hotdog one. Again , it was great. I recommend sugar dipping on just one side. This place needs better workers. I was in line for 20 + mins after being looked at through the back and getting ignored. Then finally somebody came to take my order and seemed annoyed with me and didn't even know how to communicate with me. It was like she was confused on what I was trying to order. If i could rate zero i could. Ive been here multiple times and the food is great, but the service... The worker was on call and didnt take my order until they were finished with their call. After she took my order she got back on the call, did NOT wash her hands, proceeded to make my food as she was on call with one phone in here hand switching back and forth, must i add WITHOUT gloves. As i was waiting she continued to stare at me very obviously because she knew she shouldnt have been on her phone. And later on the food made me sick. Wow, what an incredible addition to the Katy Mills Food court! Unique and delicious, our family all ordered different things so we could try a bit of everything. The rice sausage dog and the potato and Mozzarella dog were crispy, salty, sweet perfection. My daughter loved the mochi donut I had a bite and the springy texture was a sweet surprise. The star for me was the EGG TOAST! We upgraded to the garlic bread because it came recommended and it did not disappoint, I'm dreaming about the next time I can have one. read more

My 100th review on Yelp goes to Oh-K-Dog located in the food court of Katy Mills Mall! This is a relatively new location and from what I've seen on the weekends, it gets crazy packed. On the weekdays however, the pacing is a lot better and lines come and go in smaller waves. Renown for their Korean rice hotdogs and recently egg toasts, it's been making their way around on social media. I gave it a go myself but opted only for their cheddar hot dogs with their spicy cheese mustard condiment to adorn it. 10x better than a traditional American corn dog for sure. Wasn't too sure if I was ready to drop over eight bucks for some egg stuffed in between buttered toast, but I got to live vicariously through other patrons eating beside me and they definitely have it locked down in the looks and aesthetic department. Perhaps I'll give it a try on my next visit. Compared to other Korean hot dog establishments, I certainly enjoy the crispier batter that Oh-K-Dog has to offer in contrast to their competitors. I could give 0 stars if I could. While the food was really good the employees were so disrespectful and rude... and I'm able to put up with a lot and typically don't complain because I don't want to be the rude one. But me and my sisters happened to be really hungry and excited to try this new place because we saw it before it opened. The register lady seemed annoyed and gave us a slight attitude when she messed up something. She fixed it but we didn't even notice she messed up the order still. When we weee getting served we realized and were like um.. we ordered two mozzarella dogs and the girl has the audacity to be like check your receipt this is what I have and was unwilling to change it even if the customer was right. It was really upsetting and honestly ruined my experience for this food place. Sad. read more
