    Potato half & half
    Brittney A.

The food was okay. It's not on my 'must try' list. It wasn't too flavorful. The service was okay. It's in a mall so mall ambiance? All in all it was okay. Will I try it again, maybe not. Or maybe I'll try the egg toast sandwiches; maybe.

I love this place and I was so happy to find it! I was concerned about gluten because a local mochinut joint told me that they have flour but the owner here told me about the ingredients and that they only use rice and potato flour and starch. It was so reassuring to hear someone know what they were talking about. The owner gave us great service and made suggestions about some of the popular items and recommended the blueberry donuts because they just came out of the oven. Everything was hot and fresh! Being that it was in a mall foodcourt was quite the surprise, I didn't expect to find something so cute and trendy in mall foodcourt. Whenever I'm back in Katy Mills mall I will definitely stop by and visit again!

    Potato Hot Dog with Mochi

This was a restaurant I've never seen or tried before, but I'm glad I did. They serve battered hot dogs, egg toast, and deep-fried doughballs with mochi inside. I only had the potato hot dog and mochi balls, but I would regularly come back to these locations to try more things off their menu. I just didn't like how the food was served. When I ordered my items, they each came in individual baskets, which were hard to carry to my table. If I had just ordered one item, this problem would be fine, but these baskets need to be improved. What if a running screaming kid (there are some at Katy Mills) bumps into me and I drop my food?

Came here for the first time with my kids. Ordered the Classic Hotdog with cinnamon and the Cheddar Hotdog with Hot Cheetos coating. Both those normal sized corndogs w/ 2 water bottles were $23. It wasn't that good and definitely not worth it for that much. The breading was so thick that the wiener itself wasn't fully hot. We also ordered the mochi donuts that they had there. The plain one was definitely plain and we also got a glazed one. It's good, but very sweet. The staff are friendly and fast. There are a lot of tables and chairs in the food court to eat your food. The parking lot is huge.

Came here today for lunch I got a number 3. Service was quick, food was received in 10 minutes or less. It was decent. I wanted a sandwich but they didn't have any .-. Would try a number 7 with hot Cheetos.

Oh K-Toast and Sweet Potato half & half hotdog

We made a quick lunch stop here as their store front was pretty interesting. Plus, we love trying different K-Toast and hot dogs. Pros: Oh K-Toast was awesome! I suggested to order with garlic bread. That' was our favorite. It is so so simple but made perfect the way the bread was toasted, eggs were cooked and the sauce. Sweet Potato half and half hot dog-- this is the half cheese half hotdog one. Again , it was great. I recommend sugar dipping on just one side. Service was friendly and not a long wait with 3 customers ahead of us. Cons: Not cheap but not expensive, $17 total for our order with upgrade to garlic toast

From the moment…read moreyou step into the clean, large restaurant, you get greeted by the loveliest Korean ahjummas and are seated at a table next to a TV playing some K-Drama. The menu is big, but every item on it is executed so well. The flavors are comparable to that you'll get in Korea, with the side dishes few but perfect (the kimchi, jjangachi, and radish kimchi). My favorite is the gamjatang---there is so much meat, the potatoes are piping hot, and the soup is perfectly seasoned and rich. The pancakes and blood sausages are also delicious. I love coming here whenever I crave authentic Korean food: everything from the service to the meal itself is top-tier. The prices are also very very reasonable, especially lunch prices! Parking is plentiful and it's right off the freeway. You have to come here for the best Korean food in the area---I drive all the way from the Medical Center to come here, and it never disappoints!

Tasty Ko is located further South of I-10 in an assuming plaza. As soon I stepped into the restaurant, I was hit with delicious aromas of KBBQ and seafood sizzling at the tables. I was in the mood for noodles and so was my friend - we ordered the jjamppong and the jiajiangmein. The broth for the jjamppong was super flavorful and deep with seafood notes. There were plenty of veggies (cabbage) and squid. The shrimp were small and kind of mushy - probably from a frozen bag or just not fresh. I didn't mind though. The serving size of noodles were perfect, and maybe a little bit more than I wanted since I couldn't finish the whole bowl. The jiajiangmein looked equally as delicious - my friend said there was a lot of onion in the sauce. The array of banchan consisted of kimchi, marinated bean sprouts, cold kimchi pancake, and marinated spicy cucumber. Yummy banchan as well. Tasty Ko is a great spot if you're not wanting to drive all the way to the Spring Branch area for Korean food, and not wanting to spend an arm and a leg at Katy Asian Town. Good menu selection for those who either want KBBQ or a la carte classic Korean dishes!

Every single dish was spot-on and the portions were quite generous. If I had to pick, the Japchae, Jajang Myeon, and Spicy Seafood Jjampong Soup were especially memorable. A thick noodle is used for the Japchae which held on to the flavor really well and provided more of a bite. The Jajang Myeon and Soup were absolutely bursting with flavor - bold, rich, and truly satisfying. They perfectly captured the essence of what these dishes should taste like: delivering a home-cooked taste at restaurant quality. As typical of Korean restaurant, every meal comes with an assortment of banchan. The kimchi was perfection and it seems like there are unlimited refills for the banchan. Let's not forget that this is a Pocha! There are lots of drink options and they are open late. This also makes for a great place for large groups and seating ranges from open tables or private booths for those looking for something more private. There is an open stage where I suppose open-mic karaoke used to take place, but as of 01/2025 management has put up signs stating it's currently not in use due to noise complaints from the neighbors. Still, there are plenty of private karaoke rooms to be put to use. This place is a hidden gem - it seems like a well-kept secret tucked away in this little neighborhood. I really hope the place gets more traffic in the future. They really deserve it! Overall really great place to come chill at with friends they've got the food, drinks, and karaoke covered.

The other thing was that our server was way too busy and focused on other table or they were short staffed during afternoon and the place was empty not packed nor busy. Our food was either burned or not cooked so we actually did majority of cooking but we still tipped 20%. We enjoyed our soup and I wish they included kimchi chigey or army stew with all you can eat. We will be back again hopefully it gets better.
