Went for lunch. It was hot but they had fans going. Chill music in the background going from rancheras to pop. It Seems like prices went up. We were sat quickly, not much emotion from the stewardess not a hello how can I help you. She was just there. Sat quickly waitress came over and introduced herself. She was quick and kind. Ordered a bottle of sparkling water, shrimp tacos and birria tacos. They were $24 each it included 3 tacos and half a potion of rice and half a portion of beans. The water was $8. I really don't appreciate how they force the 20 percent tip on you and then put on the receipt that that they suggest you leave an additional tip. Why? It was 2 of us 2 dishes and a water. Paid $73 dollars. Food was good, but I would rather go down the street to taquiza or any other taco place and just pay 8 dollars for the taco and leave a tip in accordance to service. Not in accordance to what a restaurant think we should leave

Delicious home made chips and guacamole. Fun atmosphere and music. Friendly staff. Lots of seating on the patio. The downside was the washroom was not great.

Overall, a great option for HH and or Taco Tuesday. The service is a bit unfriendly and they wouldn't give us a happy hour menu, just told us the specials and then tried to upcharge us to get the bigger versions of the drink. My boyfriend asked for a spicy margarita and the waiter said that wasn't on hh but then we looked online at the hh menu and there was a jalepeno margarita on the menu... Anyways, we started with the chips and guac which were so fresh! Freshly made tortilla chips and flavorful guac. The tacos were fine- nothing special but still good. The green hot sauce that comes with it is also great. There are definitely better tacos in Miami Beach but the overall fun vibe, happy hour deal, and decent food makes it a place to return to.

These people charge for nothing. Literally. I asked for a dirty martini, no vermouth. They charged me $4 dollars nothing. To omit a drop or two of vermouth. That's called robbery in some sections. Absolutely unbelievable. I went back to the restaurant. The managers said it is standard practice and the difference between neat and dirty. Bad business practice for sure.

We always have fun here and enjoy the food and drinks! Not sure why the reviews aren't higher but we are always happy to visit! Today we just grabbed drinks, I had a skinny Marg and we split the shrimp (cucumber one) so good!

Had some delicious Mexican food during my time in Miami! This place was a small hole in the wall restaurant with great service and music! Ordered some delicious Birria tacos and the sides were also super good. Recommend coming here if you want to try some good tacos! 8/10 recommend!

A bit over priced. We're here at 2:30pm and no birria meat. Food didn't have much flavor.

The main entrée Fajitas with guacamole and black beans and rice.

Guacamole appetizer was excellent. I had the chicken Fajitas was very good. The atmosphere truly Mexican at the famous Espaniola Way. And our waitress Isela was helpful and friendly. My friend's skinny margarita was excellent. Cappuccino was a great choice at the end of the meal. For a fun night check it out!

Luciana was great, patient, helpful, and kind. The food came out and she let us know which dishes were what and what was what as well. Food was delicious, atmosphere made me feel like I was in Mexico. And the bathrooms are clean!

Good food and drinks. So many options to choose from for both the food and drinks menu. The bar is a great place to sit at and the bartenders are nice. Service has always been good. Ambiance is very fun! I love coming here and it's always a good time.

Stopped for a drink and appetizers on a Thursday afternoon! No complaints.....yummy salsa with lots of dipping options, (mild to spicy.) We also had the chicken quesadillas to share. Both were very good. We had ice cold beers and skinny margaritas too. Prices were reasonable and it's a great place to people watch on Española Way.

Great place for HH and Taco Tuesday! The drinks are fantastic and the service is on point. I got the veggie tacos, they were good not great but the salsas were AMAZING! Overall, I would definitely come back for HH/ Taco Tuesday!

Their tacos are not bad but for street tacos they are pricey even during happy hour. They charge a standard 18% gratuity. They might as well charge that fee into the food price because it is mandatory but most likely they separate the line item to avoid additional sales tax on revenue. The place is dark and dingy for a highly rated place. After this first day experience in south beach im avoiding any of the other popular tourist restaurants for the rest of my stay. Stick with other non traditional places along Collins and Washington and you should be fine.

I first went to Taquiza over a decade ago when it was located at 15th & Collins; at the time, I…read morefelt that the tacos were too small and way overpriced, but I liked the blue corn homemade tortillas and the pastor and asado were perfectly cooked. Then, they moved to the Broadmore Hotel, quite possibly the worst hotel on Miami Beach. I stayed there once, only once, and still question why anyone would stay there, much less eat there. Therefore, I never ate at that location. Last week, I read that Taquiza was relocating due to that crappy hotel being torn down for some new overpriced condo hotel. It said that it was moving into its own tortilla factory in the NE 2nd corridor. Since this is near our home, I made a mental note of it. This area has one of the best taco shops in all of Miami, La Santa, so there is some stiff competition. Nonetheless, I convinced my wife to go grab a couple of tacos before heading home. We got there, no one was waiting, so we were able to order immediately. We asked was the most popoular items were and they said the crispy fish tacos and pastor. We decided to order the asado and carnitas along with the esquites. We were told that we should wait outside while they assemble it. We did. It took forever. I decided to go next door for a beer from Off Site/No Seasons while we waited...for over a half an hour. Way, way too long for tacos. When the order came, though, it was packaged extremely nicely. The tacos are small, very small, even for street tacos. My wife is Mexican, so when she says this, then you know they are on the small size. The asado meat was juicy and tender and perfect. The carnitas meat was cooked nicely but had the overpowering (and unnecessary) flavor of cardamom; carnitas should not have this flavor. In addition to the meats, the lovely blue corn tortillas of old were non-existant, replaced with what seemed to be day-old crunchy and curled corn tortillas. These were definitely not fresh, which was extremely weird given the time that it took to make. The onions and cilantro were nicely packaged up for us, even if the onions were a little larger chopped than traditional. The limes were super dry without any juice. Ugh, the misses just kept coming... Finally, the esquites portion was large, perfectly cooked with a little bit of char on most of the kernels. This looked delicious. But, it wasn't. There was no seasoning. No Tajin. No pepper. Not even salt. Just bland kernels. It did have a little cotija cheese, but ever so slightly, not enough to alter the flavor. We had asked for sour cream, but none was included in our take away bag. While we ate the tacos in the car, we made the decision to bring the corn home and add to it lime juice, more cotija, sour cream, Tajin, and salt. It ended up tasting quite nice, but it should have been presented that way when we purchased it. I guess, after this experience trying to help out a local company, I'll wait another decade to try it again. You know sometimes, you just want a place to be great, but it just isn't. For me, I have no clue how this place made it into the MICHELIN Guide; what you see in the Guide is not what you get. If you want good tacos in that neighborhood, go across the street to La Santa. You can thank me later.
