Ahi tuna and salmon.
Tyler L.

Great service and the poke is extremely fresh!!! The staff are so nice and will help guide you to deciding what poke bowl is best. You can customize them too. It's on the 2nd floor of the building as you take the elevator to your left.

Visited Ohana Poke House for lunch and really enjoyed it! I got the chicken teriyaki bowl since I'm pregnant. The flavors were comforting and the portion was huge. I was stuffed. Hubby got their ahi shoyu bowl and thoroughly enjoyed it. He said it was fresh and very well sauced. This restaurant is located on the second floor, and there's a free parking lot out front. The staff was friendly, the vibes are very casual, and they really take their time to prepare each meal so you know it's fresh. Would recommend!

Fresh poke, reasonable price, quick service and the lady gave us free drinks for the kids.

BEST poke I've ever had. Sooo incredibly fresh and tasty and at a great price point. Don't let its location fool you. This was soo good and i will absolutely be returning before the end of my trip

Fresh poke! You have a selection of poke style; poke bowls are customizable: you can choose a base of sushi rice, sushi rice + salad, or salad. You also have sauces to choose from and you can ask to have the sauce on the side for an additional 25 cents. Poke bowls are made to order. I ordered the Hawaiian style poke ($15) with Spicy Mayo and Unagi sauces on the side (additional 25¢) and sushi rice as a base. Rice was perfectly cooked. The place is located in a food court in the second floor of McCully Shopping Center. Dining tables are shared with the other businesses in the food court. I went in on a Wednesday noon in July and the place was not busy at all. There were two other parties/individuals that were there when I was.

Super fresh poke, good quality fish that melts in your mouth, and buttery soft. Good portion size and everything was delicious.

Best poke on the island. Still. Been a customer for years and she is still the best. Consistently.

Hawaiian style ahi

Found this recommendation on Yelp and so glad I did! The ahi melts in your mouth and the rice is seasoned to perfection. The portion size is appropriate and the price is reasonable. The only thing I would change if I was ordering again would be to ask for more cucumbers. The crunch is fantastic next to the smoothness of the ahi

Amazing! The reviews did not disappoint. I am writing this review as I eat my bowl. I deliberately passed several other poke spots on the mile long journey here. Raw fish needs to be fresh, and Ohana Poke House delivers on that guiding principle. The food is seasoned immaculately as well. Overall, just a tasty bowl of better. Far better than I had on Maui and anywhere in California. Would recommend. Know that sauces are extra. You likely spend around $20/bowl. Expect to spend upwards of $25 if you want extra toppings such as avocado, seaweed salad, and so on.

Little, unassuming poke shop on the second floor serving up some amazing bowls! The prices are reasonable and in line with expectation so the good taste just makes the value that much better. The staff is friendly and puts a cheer on your face the moment you walk in. The poke bowls are fresh, delicious, and what really sets them apart is that they have a lot of options as far as finishes and flavors to alter the flavors. Lots of shops have a style or maybe two; here, the world is your oysters to make your bowl taste the way you like! Want more than one style? Get a combo! Overall, you'll get a good value poke bowl you won't be disappointed in.

Amazing quality poke. Their combo is a must. Everything is always fresh and is too good. Yum!!

Great Poke and always fresh every time we come here. Get their combo you can't go wrong with it. Yum!!!

The rice with the poke both being seasoned make for a delicious poke bowl better than most around the area.

They occasionally offer salmon as well! Obviously the dining ambiance is prolly the downside as it's a simple outdoor patio in front of the venue, but hey it does the job! We got their combo of Wasabi Ahi and Spicy Salmon, both of which we really love. I might like the sauce from the other well known place tad better, but would say this one was certainly delectable!

I missed the photo op but there was nothing captivating. The spicy sauce on the spicy salmon couldn't cover up the gamey taste. Same goes for the miso ahi, but it was slightly better than the salmon. The poke wasn't cut consistently, had some stringy pieces, and wasn't cold enough either. It seemed like it had been saturated for a while, too slimy. Plastic or styrofoam bowls would definitely help with the presentation. They're currently charging $20 for poke bowls served in a mini plate lunch container filled with mostly rice. The best part of the trip was the gelato. It's not theirs, they are vendors for Il Gelato. The dragonfruit and mango lilikoi combo made up for the mediocre poke. I would return for the gelato.

The restaurant felt very authentic to me, seems like it was running by the family. I ordered classic tuna poke and salmon collar. 5 stars on salmon collar. The shop is located downstairs in a food court-style area with shared seating nearby. If it's your first time, be aware you'll need to walk down a flight of stairs to find it. The menu has a huge variety of poke, which is great, although it was a little overwhelming deciding what to order. Ordering itself is quick and straightforward. I ordered a regular bowl ($18) with the tako limu, spicy salmon, and shoyu tuna. The biggest thing to consider here is the value. At $18 for a regular bowl, I expected both exceptional quality and bold flavors. While the fish quality was excellent, the seasoning didn't quite match the price point for me. Shoyu Tuna - Unfortunately my least favorite of the three. It lacked seasoning and tasted fairly plain. They do provide soy sauce packets, but I personally don't expect to have to season poke myself at this price point. Madako Limu - Easily the standout. The octopus was cut into generous chunks, giving it a great texture, and it had the most balanced, flavorful seasoning of the three selections. Spicy Salmon - The salmon itself was fresh and buttery, and I liked that it included masago for added texture. However, despite the name, it wasn't spicy and the overall flavor was pretty mild. One thing I can't criticize is the quality of the fish. Everything tasted very fresh, with buttery texture and no sinew or chewy pieces, which speaks to the quality of the seafood. Overall, I can understand why people come here for the freshness of the fish. If you prefer lightly seasoned poke that lets the seafood shine, this may be your style. Personally, I was hoping for more flavor to justify the price, so while I'm glad I tried it, there are other poke spots I'd choose first.

The restaurant was pretty cute both outside and inside, and I could tell it draws a good crowd for football games, which is a plus. For the poke bowls, we got the Spicy Shoyu Ahi, Furikake Salmon, and Ultimate. Overall, they were pretty good and decent bowls. I liked that there was a condiment bar at the end to add any toppings you wanted. The fish was fresh and well seasoned, with no fishiness at all. I just wished there was a bit more white onion for crunch, but it was good regardless. The Fish and Chips were really good. The fish was super crispy, the meat was firm, and the fries were nicely fried. The tartar sauce or maybe more of a lemony aioli, was the star. It wasn't your usual tartar sauce; it had a homemade lemony sweetness that made it delicious. My only complaint was that the batter came off the fish pretty easily, which made it a bit tricky to eat at times.

It was love at first bite for me with musubi and onigiri, so when I saw a spot dedicated to this deliciousness you better believe I made a point to go there! I ran even faster when StaciLei, Yelp Hawaii's amazing Community Manager, told me it's a must and gave me her list of greatest hits and must not miss items as a guide! Now I've had a lot of these in my life, and I must say, Iyasume are easily the best. See musubi and onigiri have humble origins as a quickly made homespun snack or on the go lunch, and when you spot them in the convenience environment they're often a giant ball of rice with a tinge of protein or seasoning for flavor. At Iyasume, these are culinary adventures, stacked with ingredients, all in handheld form, and the variety they offer is IMPRESSIVE! Of course musubi starts with the classic, SPAM. I had to order the kimchi + spam, shiso + spam, and unagi + tamago + spam, all of which were awesome (even the next day!). Onigiri here are actually layered with ingredients, so you get them in every bite, unlike the convenience store versions! They have a HUGE menu, and I went with spicy mentaiko and salmon, spicy mentaiko and ikura, ikura and salmon, and tuna mayo curry, all of which were great. I LOVE that they make these to order. You can see the line in the back hard at work, and they're very fast. You're sure to encounter a line when you arrive, but don't be scared, it moves quickly. I only had to wait about 5 minutes for mine to come up! Well worth it. Reasonably priced. Very filling. A taste of Hawaii and Japan in one place that'll have everyone smiling!
