Spinach berry salad with grilled chicken
    Yuko H.

Located at the terminal 2, good place to hangout before the flight. I came here to get a quick lunch before my flight at noon. They were still serving breakfast but I chose to have salad with grilled chicken. Server knows we are all there to catch a flight and she made sure service was prompt enough. I even asked for my bill before I started eating so I can leave as soon as I finish eating. OSHO has several locations in the valley and they serve same type of food here at the airport location. Good craft beer is available. Airport food at terminal 2 used to be really bad but now with OSHO here, it's not too bad anymore.

This might arguably be the best burger I've eaten in years! What drew me is the full restaurant of people during a layover. Most folk had the cheeseburger. So I did too. Absolutely not a regrettable decision. I remember asking the lady, "Breakfast sandwich (It was only 11am.) or burger?" Without hesitation, she answered, "Burger." Damn, was she right! I eat with my pinkie up. But y'all, this affordable meal (in and out of an airport!) had me leaning over the tray from the sauce+ on my burger. Good fries too!

There are not many choices in this terminal so when I am flying United Airlines, this is the place to stop for a cold brew and food. The beer is great and the food is above average. It will depend on what you get. Fries and a burger you can't go wrong. The Chinese chicken salad was also tasty but one can tell the chicken was not grilled themselves and is they type where you get at a Costco. Nevertheless, the food portions are above average and since the airlines don't give you food, it is perfect for a sit down if you are early and grab and go if you are running to your gate. Service is friendly, not hurried and I was even lucky to sit by one of their many outlets to charge my phone while eating.

This place knows how to handle airport flyers! We approached at about noon and it was packed. Our party of 3 was placed on a waiting list. The instant another group left, they called us over and cleared the table. Within 5 minutes, we had drinks and our orders were placed. Food came out about 12 minutes later. My husband had the BBQ burger, which looked great. The bread looked especially good. I had the kale and pear salad with added chicken. It was a big salad, but not too big. An entire chicken breast was sliced atop; it was perfectly cooked, not dried out at all. Everything was fresh, with the dressing as a nice complement. Our son had the kid meal with macaroni and cheese along with fries. It was all basic, which is exactly what he needed. Service was great the whole time, even when it was packed when we first arrived. It made for a pleasant pre-flight experience in terminal 2.

OK where do I begin to start with the seating. I was asked to move from where I was sitting based on me not ordering a drink or my food fast enough. But I was in the middle of taking care of some business trying to pay a bill because it was going to be late the waitress came and asked me two times was I ready to order and I told her no both times. And then I was asked to move. So now I've been asked to move because I did not order a drink or no food fast enough .... wow I feel like I was being racially profiled ...And then to top it off she had a nasty attitude about it I strongly suggest to all my yelpers do not stop at this Bar ( O.H.S.O. ) brewery and distillery .... when you're at the Arizona sky harbor airport!!!! And then I ordered a Long Island iced tea drink and it didn't have no alcohol in it. And then I tell the waitress that my drink taste like juice and cigarettes remake it

So this was a gem! I enjoyed my food so much! Pescatarian life is always difficult finding a good quality meal! But, I ordered the veggie burger and It was divine! I must say, I was kind of nervous. Most places that make veggie burgers, have burgers that taste like straight vegetables. To most maybe that's not a good thing, but for me it was delicious! It had more of a bean burger taste to it. The patty was cooked well with a nice spicy kick to it. But, last minute I ended up switching toppings that it cones with to the AZ Burger toppings and whoaaaaa! I found a winner! My daughters pizza was delicious, looked similar to NY style, she ate both slices! My oldest daughter had a basic burger with cheese and she usually doesn't finish the whole entire burger but she finished the entire thing! The service was excellent and the waitress was extremely accommodating! Very friendly staff and if ever in the PHX airport, that will be my first stop! It's not often that we find gems in airports, and we travel very often! But a good burger for a Pasca gal! You got my vote!

OHSO Brite with a Crispin in the background

After an arduous morning shift at the morgue (I keep busy on Fridays), nothing sounded better than a nap or a relaxing weekend at home. Behold! Neither option was available because I had an evening flight to catch for a weekend of international travels! Without my homely comforts, I am no less cantankerous than the next person, and I decided that the surest means to soothe my poor mood was a pint of alcohol. After our patriotic song and dance with the TSA, a quick scan of the Sky Harbor Terminal 2 directory pointed us to OHSO, apparently the only restaurant in the corridor with a full bar: they serve their own line of beers (along with classic, domestic options), wine, and cocktails. Their menu is standard fare with burgers, sandwiches, salads, and shareable appetizers. Anticipating that our wallet would take the obligatory hit that accompanies most airport dining, we aimed for our bill to not exceed $30 - a nice, arbitrary goal for a meal for two. How well we did. My girlfriend ordered a tasty Crispin - she's keener on the sweeter side of things. I went with OHSO's own Brite beer (Pilsner, 4.5% ABV). I've lately been on a pilsner kick in light of leaving my IPAs behind; plus, I find they go well with just about everything. Thus, for an appetizer to share, we ordered chips and guacamole ($14). As expected, our bounty did not take long to arrive; they were seasoned tortilla chips with adequate sides of guacamole (with bacon), pico de gallo, and - much to our approval - queso fresco scattered about. This simple interlude was just the right medicine to bring peace to my day. With each gulp of beer, and consequently, about 85% of the ladyfriend's cider, I found myself gradually less concerned about the impending busyness of our weekend. This is why we drink, isn't it? We got the bill - it was $30, so we hit our mark. I was pleased with our visit; OHSO fulfilled the expectations we designated, and for that, I am most appreciative. Unfortunately, our server did forget the water we asked for. Airport foodservice staff - you mustn't forget the water. Since we're not allowed to bring our own through the security checkpoint, you'd best believe we'll seize the opportunity for free H2O if the opportunity arises. Maybe next time they'll get it right, especially if we visit any of their locations around the valley. 'Til that possible occasion, thanks for the beer, OHSO! It was good.

Waiting for my United flight stopped in just to grab a coffee and Bailey's. Bar staff was super friendly and attentive to the fact that people sitting there will prob need to dash out quickly. Check out this spot in terminal 2 while you wait!

Stopped here on my way home from Phoenix. Just needed a bite to eat before boarding. Ordered the AZ burger and a "Hoppy" beer (their west coast style IPA). Beer came in a 22 oz glass, which is a win in my book and the beer itself was a solid IPA. Burger was decent, but the bun was not toasted in any way... why?? A burger with a cold bun off the shelf is just a sin... every time I get a sandwich like this at a restaurant, I'm always surprised. Fries were ok, a little thin and boring. Halfway through my burger, my server stopped by and set another 22 oz beer in front of me and said, "bartender accidentally poured 2... want another?", I was like "sure!". My flight was running late, so whatever. I ended up focusing on the beers in front of me at this point. All in all, the food was good, not great, but damn. My server hooking me up with a free beer unexpectedly sure made my flight home more enjoyable, so cheers to that! Would definitely visit this place again if my flight was leaving out of one of the nearby gates.

Not a bad option for food in the PHX Airport! Local Arizona beer and a good burger right before a flight. Don't expect something fancy because you're not going to get it. Service at the bar was quick! The AZ Burger was really good! It also came with fries! I had a Hefeweizen to compliment the beer which was a good choice!

I love that Sky Harbor is showcasing some of the best local eats of the Phoenix area. OHSO has finally made their way into the airport. My one knock with some of the other restaurants is that they offer limited menus and aren't always as good as their original locations. What I love about this OHSO location is that they offer quite a bit of food options and have a pretty large beer selection. The other thing I love is that they are open late. I caught a red eye out and was happy I was able to grab a bite before my flight. OHSO makes their own beer and liquor and is expanding across the Valley. This airport location is housed in terminal 2.

Located deep within the C gates of Terminal 4, this establishment lures in weary travelers with the false promise of artisanal wood-fired pies, only to trap them in a purgatory of melted cheese and regret. It's 11:00 PM and while the rest of Sky Harbor enjoys the peaceful silence of a midnight airport, Concourse C remains a loud, sweaty bastion of delayed flights, long layovers, and no excuse airport bar patrons and connoisseurs. The Humble Pie pizza grill and bar is packed to maximum capacity, overflowing with people drinking overpriced domestic draft beers and shouting over each other to convince themselves they are having "fun. The Meatball "Masterpiece", while Choosing to ignore their supposed identity as a pizza restaurant, I ordered the meatball sandwich and fries to eat across the way by my boarding gate, with 3 hours to spare. The result was a profound culinary tragedy. The Meatball Sandwich: For a place that specializes in pizza crust, managed to serve bread with the texture of damp cardboard and about the same thickness. The meatballs themselves had the exact structural density of squash balls, floating aimlessly in a marinara sauce that tasted less like heirloom tomatoes and more like hot, acidic anger. The cheese on top wasn't so much melted as it was sweat-softened by the ambient heat of the gate area. It is a sandwich designed specifically to ruin a flight? The Fries: The fries were an exercise in culinary depression. Limp, cold, and entirely devoid of any crispiness and flavor, they appeared to have given up on life long before they were tossed in the box. They were heavily caked in seasoning, and, thus, magically lacked flavor, likely an attempt to mask the complete absence of any actual potato. Eating at Humble Pie does not make you humble; it makes you a victim of airport geography. It is the ultimate testament to the fact that when you are hungry enough at midnight in Terminal 4, even a rubbery meatball can pass as dinner and be truly savory and satisfying. We waited at the host stand as instructed, but our server, Samantha D, shouted "Hi friend! Table or bar?" from across the restaurant. When we chose a table and sat down, she accused us of switching tables, which was confusing and embarrassing since we had no idea where we were supposed to sit. It drew unwanted attention from every other diner in the room. Things got worse when the ordering system warned us that our tab would be automatically closed with a 20% gratuity if we didn't order or leave within 40 minutes. That kind of pressure sets a terrible tone before you've even taken a bite. The food was just as disappointing. We ordered chicken wings described on the menu as salt and pepper, but they arrived fried to high hell and drowning in Old Bay seasoning -- nothing close to what was advertised. For a restaurant called Humble Pie, the experience was anything but. Between Samantha D's loud and abrasive demeanor, the stressful automatic gratuity policy, and the poorly prepared food, this was a frustrating visit from start to finish. PS. We can still hear Samantha and the bar staff cackling off the rail while we're waiting to board our flight.

The oysters are a must, the steak is cooked perfectly, and everything is plated so thoughtfully it really feels like a full experience, not just a meal. The dinner staff has also always been attentive, friendly, and on point. That said, I recently came in for brunch and had a very different experience. I'm a huge pancake person, so I was excited to try the strawberry pancakes, but they were honestly disappointing. They were soggy, lacked any fluff, and had more of a cornbread texture than a pancake. The strawberry topping also wasn't very appetizing--it seemed like it was meant to be more of a sauce, but it didn't quite work. I completely understand that higher-end restaurants like to get creative with their dishes, but I think some basics like pancakes should still be done really well. It's so pillowy soft and the flaky sea salt perfectly compliments it. I ordered the Wise Decision cocktail, which was refreshing. For my entree, I had the shishito Caesar salad and was advised I could add a protein from their skewer selection of chicken, pork belly or oyster mushrooms. I asked the waitress about the chicken and she advised that they are smoked and will appear pink from that, so not to be alarmed, but are moist and really flavorful. While the filet was tempting (and what everyone else at my table ordered), I wanted something lighter. Thankfully I was not disappointed in my selection. The chicken was as delicious as described and could be cut with a fork. The Caesar salad was well dressed, but not soggy. Do I think it was worth the money to add the chicken? Not if I were paying, but since my company paid for it, I think it was worth it. This is a great spot for a date night or special occasion.
