My technician was Jojo and immediately she was so sweet and easy going. As someone who is anxious when dealing with car maintenance Jojo made me feel very comfortable with her down-to-earth personality. I can't stress enough of how appreciative I am to have had her service my vehicle. Definitely recommend! I had a very good experience with this place. It is first come first served so do expect there to be a wait. With that said, they seem to be very quick and efficient. I took my car in for an oil change and they were done fairly quickly but were thorough. They did try to upsell me but i declined and they did not push the issue. Good service. Because there's a line of cars waiting for service, it may take a while to get into the facility. I usually patronize this business because it's my go-to spot for an oil change. However, I went yesterday and I was not impressed. This is my 2nd oil change during COVID and you stay in your car while they do the service. While sitting in my car, all of the guys were speaking about "doing their significant other" and how "it's gummy when you go down after childbirth"... They were also talking about "smoking J's and drinking". I understand that you're all dudes, but if you're running a business and the customers are right there, keep it professional!!! On top of all of that, I drove off thinking the service is done. Well, I noticed I could hear some "wind" sounds flowing and it started after I left and couldn't figure it out. This morning I walk to the front of my car and realized the guys forgot to screw in two corners of the panel underneath to access the oil drain plug! I've been trying to call them to notify them of the issue before I head down, but the phone line is disconnected (while they're already open). Lastly, I forgot to mention that late last year when I got an oil change and decided to change the air filter, they forgot to put the air filter in. Make sure you guys inspect your vehicle thoroughly before driving off... I'm no longer giving these guys my business. I'm very disappointed. *UPDATE* They just fixed it and I spoke to their manager on duty. This is the usual group of guys I see working (not the young guys from yesterday). I needed to get a safety check for my husband's truck. The first time I drove up a man came out to ask what I was needing. He was very friendly and let me know the safety checks are only Tuesday through Saturday so the guy that does them can have a day off. The second time I came, the guy was at lunch. in the end, I was able to get it accomplished. Third times a charm I guess. The price was good. The staff we're all very friendly . Wait time was great. Tip--- don't go the last day or two of the month or you will have a long wait. read more

Ive been coming here for several years now for vehicle safety check. The service is fast and friendly. There are two lanes and two bays that hold 2 cars each and you stay in your vehicle during inspection. Each lane leading up to the bays appear to be able to accommodate 2-3 cars each in waiting before the line bleeds over to the gas station area. I went on a Wed. in the middle of the month. They opened at 7am and exactly on time, I arrived 15 min early and there were several cars already lined up in the lanes for each bay. Some for safety check and some for oil change. A worker came out to check with each vehicle what type of service was needed. I found the process to be efficient and kept the cars flowing. Each time Ive come, Ive always been directed to the lane closest to the car wash side for safety. I like this place. I will be back. read more

I'm not a car person. I love my car, but I dread getting it serviced, scheduling oil changes...a warning light coming on my dash sends me into panic mode. Thank goodness for Oil Changers. I can sit in the comfort of my car while they do the state required safety inspection. They open at 8am weekdays--when I pulled up at 7:45am, I was fifth in line. Have your insurance card and registration ready. The staff was friendly, courteous, and professional. It was around 9am when they got to me but mission accomplished-- I got the safety check done, it was around $25 or so. I've used their services before--one time my tire pressure light came on and they were nice enough to top off my air free of charge. I am so glad they are conveniently located to where I work. read more

I stopped by one day around 1 to get a safety check. The lady said it would be a few hours and if it was too long to come back tomorrow. I came back the next day and was helped by the same lady. This lady was very helpful, communicative, and patient. It is hard to find such good service anywhere nowadays. My car was ready in about 30 minutes. Oil is expensive, I know. But they're charging too much. I've never heard of an oil change costing $91. That's insane. With inflation and the increase in oil cost, the oil itself probably costs them $22-30 dollars for 5 qts. You could get your oil from Walmart for about $30. So the rest is $60 for their time and labor, which is ridiculous for a 20 minute oil change. I'll add that my car is just a little Corolla. Not like I have a truck that takes 7 qts of oil. read more

I usually go to the one in waipio, but I was in the area and the reviews were good. I came here to renew my safety check. Got there around 11 and I went to the left, since someone had mentioned it was for safety check only. I waited in line and no one acknowledged me. I figured I was good, so I waited. I waited for about 20 minutes and was finally approached by the Asian guy, only to be told that I had to come back at 1230. If that was the case, he or someone could've told me as soon as I got there instead of having me waste my time. I'll be going back to waipio instead. read more

Sorry, it started when nobody was wearing masks. The lady told me initially that my oil was dirty and I need to run cleaning. I told her no, then I asked about a few minutes later about it. She said it was a little bit dirty. No way, I just had it changed it at the dealer. The oil was still clear. Later I told her that I had a coupon for $5.00 that she forgot to take off my bill, then just so happens there was a $5 charge she missed. I know times are hard, but it no mask and additional mystery charge? No, one time is enough, even with a coupon. Just saying. read more

The shop at Kunia could change my oil but did not have a safety inspection employee working today. I followed 6 cars all going to QuickLube for the same thing. They checked with you while in line to see if you were only there for a safety inspection. Every employee there is nice and polite. They completed the inspection 1st, then the oil change. They check your oil before changing it, tire pressure, clean your windows and air filter. Another successful inspection, til next year! read more

I had to get my safety done quickly and could not make an appointment for mornings anywhere so I came here (first timer). I showed up, followed what everyone else was doing, but because it was my first time here, I was nervous on where I was supposed to go. Not for long though, staff members started walking up to my car, checking in and advising me on what to do. I didn't even have to ask for help, they just showed up. They were welcoming, and had very positive attitudes despite how slammed they were. They worked efficiently to get everyone through the line and they were very attentive. The wait is long, but they gotta do their job and it takes time for each car to get through...so if you pull up and see a lot of cars, expect to wait a bit. Oil Changers @ Kapolei is my place to go for safety checks. Our family has 3 cars, and we have been customers at that location (formerly Flagship FastLube) for many years. The staff has always been polite and friendly. Although we moved to Honolulu 3 years ago, we still go to Kapolei for our safety checks. We have never had to make an appointment, and the get-in-line/out time has ranged from 15 minutes to about 1 hour. We try to get in line by 7:30. The latest we have gotten in line is 8 a.m. The one time it took only 15 minutes was because we were under hurricane warning, and I was the only silly one to show up for a safety check! read more
