I came in for an oil change and also let them know that my AC was smelling musty so they did a full inspection and showed me every step of the way what they were doing. They showed me what my filters look like (took it out in front of me) and suggested changing, even though I knew I was gonna do it, and when they were done with the oil change, they showed me how clean the new oil was. I love this place! It was hard to find a good, convenience shop at west side! I needed safety check and I found this place! I don't know this is because Covid-19 or not(next time I check), I can stay in my car whole time. I went there on Monday around 11am. I saw 2 lanes and there was 10-12 cars there. They are working on 2cars each lane so I waited like 30min in a car. Safety check was $25. And I was waiting for other car is done(in front of mine), I decided to do oil change. And they checked air filter during oil Change and it was so dirty and they changed them too. I can see what they do! And they are so nice and professional! I was so impressed! Came here to get our oil changed on a 2018 Civic...showed up before 7am, waited over an hour....which is completely fine. We had no issue with the wait because we didn't have to get outta the car or anything, and that was fantastic! They changed the oil, and offered all the extra's.....which we didn't take at the time, because I had just gotten off a 12hr night shift...again no issue with them offering upgrades either! The issue is when one of the boys said "oh you're plastic under carriage is hanging, so we're going to add some screws for you." We said okay....but it didn't make sense to us because our under carriage had not once scraped....ever! And we drive to Kailua and back every single day. We got on the road and 5 miles later we hear something funny.....and then one more time....and the. We realize our under carriage is now dragging....never before, only after....it appears that when they said they were going to put in screws, they were actually taking screws out. Now our under carriage covering is all scraped! Not only that, I ended up late to work that night because we had to fix the problem! I definitely would not trust this place, which is sad because they came recommended to us! We certainly will NOT return. Oh, and they didn't honor the military discount because "sorry we need to see your husbands military ID, not yours." My husband was never in the military, I was! A simple look at my ID would show that I was the retired military member....NOT my husband. read more

My review just got deleted! Idk why. But do not come here. I did my oil change here like a couple months ago by some young boys. My dad usually does it but I figured I didn't want to bother him and I'd just eat the cost and go to a oil change place. But I just decided I wanted to start doing my own oil change to save money and asked my dad to show me how to do it and he goes under my car and says "hey your where's you underplate its missing!! I'm like WTF!! Also they screwed on the oil filter cap so Damm tight it was so difficult getting it off. It shouldnt even be screwed on that tight!!! Then I go to check my my air filter to wash it and I notice my expensive washable resuable air filter is gone and was replaced by a cheap dirty regular disposable air filter. And i know my washable resuable air filter was there last time because i put it in on myself a few months prior to going to the oil change shop and the car was not seen or taken to any mechanic shop so I know only I touched it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I didn't even say I wanted my air filter to be changed and didn't even know they touched that, they should've said hey we are changing this, but no they were shady and maybe took it for their car!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] What else did they take off or not put back???? Check your cars people, they might take little things off and not put things back and pieces off your car might be missing and you'll never know. See this is what I hate, pure dishonesty and carelessness. Watch your cars parts they might be taking things off and you won't know until you drive off like me and months later find oh this is missing or where is this? At this point its too late too complain or say something because I know damm well there gonna be difficult and say hey we never did that!!! I know it was them becuase from my last oil change i never went to get my car service by any other oil change shop or mechanic shop! Never coming back!!! DISGUSTING SERVICE!! PILAU!! SHADY!!!! I hope the manager reads this and uses it to do better for their business and makes sure that who they are hiring they are doing quality work! I get they are supposed to be fast and are probably rushing but thats no excuse to leave parts off cars. Whoaa I get to stay in my car while they do the oil change lol. Neat! So I've been coming to this Fastlube for a while for everything my car needs and they're always SO nice (or I'm lucky and I come at the times when the awesome workers are here lol). Because of Covid, they closed the lounge but let you stay in your car during the oil change and idk about anyone else but I'm weird and kinda like it? I feel more assured in a way. I'm actually writing this in my car during an oil change at this very moment lol. In any case the service is great, I never have any issues with my car afterward, and they don't aggressively try to upsell things (but will politely ask). I will always come back for as long as they stay this awesome! Oh and just a note, I guess they changed their oil service to just "Oil Changers" recently? DRIVE THRU OIL CHANGE! I repeat they do DRIVE THRU OIL CHANGE!! I had to take my car to be serviced. With all the craziness a pandemic brings, I was concerned of 2 things: are they sanitizing good? Are they even open? Luckily, they were open! Come to find out they were doing drive thru oil changes so you never leave your vehicle! I drove up was greeted by the workers and told to stay masked and in the car. They were able to do the oil change and check me in. It took less than 30 minutes and I was out of there!! Now bad!! Most quickest and efficient place to get a safety check. They have a dedicated drive thru line just for safety checks. Might take a bit to get thru the drive thru line since there's plenty people that go here but once your car is checked in you're probably out within 10 minutes. Don't even have to exit your car. Hands down the best place to get safety checks on the island. I made the mistake of going to the nearby Goodyear and now I'm stuck waiting for mechanics to finish their current job to get to doing my safety check which will take who knows how long. Good year on the other hand is a 20 minute drive from where I live but will not make the mistake of not going their again. 100/10 read more

I came to get my oil changed on a Saturday and surprisingly it was NOT busy at 10am. The staff were very quick and friendly. We got helped by Diane and Jojo. What a nice change of pace to see women working! I loved it. They made me feel comfortable and they were really good at explaining some minor issues with my car which they were able to fix that day. I love that you don't have to get out of your car. It was also surprisingly quick my service for oil change was. This was the third time my husband and I have come for service in the last 6 months (1 safety check and 2 oil changes) and never have we been pressures to add on any services we didn't want (or couldn't afford). This place is awesome, I love the fact that you can sit in your car as opposed to waiting in a cramped waiting room. Came early on a Saturday. There were three or four cars in front. The wait was reasonable. We went for a oil change and safety check. They have two bays and take two cars in each bay at a time, so the line goes by quick. The only downside is that we finished early and we had to wait about ten minutes for the car in front to finish before we can get out. For the quick and awesome service, this place still deserves five stars. Pro tip: grab breakfast or lunch and eat in the car while you wait. read more

Usually this place is pretty good but more recently they have had supply issues and made service timelines and guarantees that it turns out they could not uphold. They were not up front in their ability to complete the needed services and have thus put me in a predicament that could have been resolved by booking an appointment with Honda had I know of their inability to fulfill the necessary services. Furthermore, their manager Crystal is what I like to call respectably smug. Says all the right things yet the attitude behind each statement has a smug and rude tone. They've lost my business which is sad because I do like how efficient they are with oil changes. Sadly, when your empty promises start to impact my time and money, the value is no longer worth it. I came here for a safety check. I'm new to this state so I knew nothing about the safety check. I gave them my information and they did the check stuff and I thought everything was good. An older man came and asked me a few questions and then the younger lady came over and said "you're all set that'll be $25", perfect that was easy! Except she handed me everything folded and it wasn't until I left that I saw they failed my car because my tags are in my window. I tried explaining I had a hard time getting the screw to turn but nobody once said I would fail as a result. Had I known, I wouldn't have gone today and would have asked someone to help me get the tags in. They could have been more forthcoming and just said we're going to fail you today because of whatever and I would've said ok thank you for letting me know and my mistake. It was my mistake but to be sneaky about it and hand me a folded paper and not say anything that's just rude and unnecessary. Update: I went back today and it made yesterday even worse. Turns out the problem is I don't have front tags but I didn't need that in Kansas. Again, not one person told me that yesterday. They just failed me and smiled in my face without taking the time to explain what I wouldn't know being out of state. Really terrible customer service! read more

My first time getting an oil change. I arrived around 7 thinking they were already opened but the line didn't move until 8 am. It was very quick after that. I had a bit of trouble understanding the guy that was helping me out and I wish he had asked if it was okay to adjust the air in my tires (they were brand new and from Costco).
