I put air in the tire at the…read more76 station down the street from DeWitt's and and hour later I noticed the tire was getting low on air. When I arrived at DeWitt's I went inside and informed the woman in the office I had a tire that I thought had a nail in it. She asked me to leave the keys in the vehicle and someone would take a look. A young man came out and didn't say a word or give me eye contact. He drove into the shop and removed the tire. About 30 minutes later I was told the job was done and it would be $50. I know, inflation and all, but the last time I had a nail removed it was around $20. I didn't think to ask to see what he found in the tire. On all other tire repair occasions I was always shown what was in the tire. As I was leaving, the low tire pressure light was still on. I went back inside and asked the woman one, did they check all the tires to make sure they had the correct tire pressure and two, would they reset the low tire pressure light. I was told they usually check all tires to make sure they have the right air pressure (usually). That I needed to drive the vehicle 20 miles and the light would go off. I drove over 400 miles and the light is still on. I Googled how to reset the light and I need to release air out of each tire in order for the light to go off. Let's think about that. If the tires are inflated to the correct pressure and I need to let air out of each tire to reset the light, wouldn't it be best to do this at a shop where they can over inflate the tires or be able to put the lost air back in the tires? The tire repair may be excellent, but the overall customer service coming out of the shop was very disappointing.

They were professional, and didnt try to upsell me on unnecessary repairs. They could have, and I would have believed them. But they were honest, quick and professional.

Miguel was very informative from the beginning about what they would try to do to save my engine and what the backup plan was, and it turned out they could get my car running again while salvaging my existing engine and replacing major components. Miguel was honest and realistic about the time estimate and how long it would take, everything happened within the time frame that he communicated to me upfront, and they somehow managed to save my car staying within the budget and time frame that he had communicated to me. Hearing my car start again after more than two months being without it was a pretty amazing feeling, and now I feel like I can trust Metric Motors to do literally any job on my vehicle no matter how big or small. Once they could fit me in, they only had my car for 4 weeks and rebuilt everything in that time exactly as promised. They handled the most complicated task like utmost professionals and Miguel always asked me if I had any other questions, made sure to keep me informed of everything, and explained things in a way that I really appreciate. I am beyond grateful to this repair shop, they uphold the highest standard of work, and I felt that they were very honest and trustworthy. Here's a list of issues I've encountered after the first 6-months: worn-out struts, outer trim of the vehicle is worn out and barely held together, discovered unloosened and missing bolts in the A-pillar, undisclosed oil leak from the engine, and welded-on catalytic converter which cost me extra to remove and replace. I usually give local businesses and have been refraining to post this yet appearances from this business left me deceived unfortunately.

Ive Never been to this quick lube before. I've been very weary about places like these. My regular mechanic didnt have time to change my oil so I came here. I was greeted right away by a very friendly tech named Bruce, there were two cars before me I only waited for about 15 mins then they brought me in. Nick offered to check my cabin air filter and there was a rats nest so I had that nasty thing replaced. Surprisingly it only took 10 mins to change the oil finish my car up. These guys were awesome very informative and some of the nicest people I've ever met. I will definitely be coming back and recommending all my family members and friends here. read more

I pulled up to get an oil change on my lunch hour then saw my boss needed me to take care of something 45 minutes away asap. As I pulled in, I told the attendant maybe I wouldn't have time after all? He asked how much time I had? I plugged in my GPS to my destination and said I have about 16 minutes. He grabbed his team and said "Let's help her out here." And they did my oil change in 15 minutes!
