Smelly, warm, rotten, bitter crab meat. 3rd time now from this place.

‼‼‼SERVED ROTTEN vegan meat her THREE TIMES‼‼‼‼ This place gave me ROTTEN crab and ROTTEN imitation crab a total of 3x in 4 years. It's also listed in my other old yelp reviews exposing these other dates. My husband brought home a California roll for me and he LIED, he said "it's from a different sushi place"- I'm not naming it b/c we actually love the other place. - he thought the REAL or fake (lost track at this point) crab meat wouldn't be ROTTEN like the other 2x I got a Cali roll from Oiishii Too. He was very wrong! I took 1 whiff and for some reason I still ate one piece of a roll, and I could immediately tell it was from Oiishi too and I confronted him about it b/c he knows for a fact this place sold me rotten food and I do NOT like (hate) this place b/c of this issue. This is the THIRD time they sold me ROTTEN crab. Disgusting, Disgraceful, not trustworthy, dirty, rotten place. I've eaten at 40+ sushi places in my life and NEVER had this problem and this is the 3rd time.

Starting positive: The sushi and dishes were all nicely presented. Waiter was friendly. That's all I can say. I love eating local and seeing how families put their all into their restaurant. I try to give the benefit of the doubt, but it was hard to do that this time. First off, for such an expensive place, bottled sodas brought to the table with the waiter GRIPPING the serving cups around where you put your mouth to drink with his hands, then saying you don't have straws, peeved us all out a little for being so unsanitary. The booth seats are FILTHY. No music, very awkward ambiance. We ordered a LOT of sushi- waiter did not explain any of it to us and did not know when asked. For an okasame restaurant, it didn't feel like one. Putting that aside and talking about the food- it was very, very mediocre. I have been eating sushi for two decades and for the price, it was extremely mid. Kin Zan Sake was overwhelmed with truffle oil that you could not taste the salmon or even the caviar, which makes it a complete waste. Selection of nigiri and sashimi were... weirdly chewier than normal. Overall was left feeling underwhelmed for the sushi quality and the dishes. Cute place, but personally did not feel like the food was worth the price.

This is my favorite spot to get authentic japanese food-for both sushi And homemade hot food. My favorite is the dragon eye roll which is rolled without rice and their don katsu! Their tempura udon is always topped with piping hot and thinly battered veggies. Their sukiyaki is also super healthy but heart warming w variety of veggies and meat in a mildly sweet soy sauce broth. *** recently discovered their desserts are amazing and freshly made by one of the staff there daily. We love their tiramisu and crispy banana! We love love love this restaurant for their awesome food, top-notch service, and the vibe. Highly recommend!

I've been to Oishii many times in Sudbury, but tonight was incredibly disappointing. Several things stood out immediately. 1) The manager was seated next to the door playing a video game on his phone. Later during my meal, I had to politely ask him to lower the volume. 2) The restaurant was very dirty, with part of a roll and several straws on the floor. 3) The strong smell of detergent was in the air. It would have been smart to leave at this point, but I came for the food. Several spicy tuna rolls were ordered and there was a noticeable difference in the quality I've had from Oishii in the past. The rolls were not wrapped tight, The spicy sauce was "off", and the rolls were soggy. After a few bites, I asked the waitress for the check. The manager came out to address the issue and they remade more rolls. Sadly, they were identical in all aspects and the manager returned to play his video game behind a wall. Paid the tab and went. I've eaten great sushi in all parts of the world. I'm only posting in hopes Oishii can return to its former glory.

In shock.. smh.. This is the worst food we've ever ordered from a sushi bar. I ordered sushi that looked like the attached picture. Teeny tiny Avocado Maki ..you could barely see the avocado as it was just under the size of 1/2 a green pea. And we were so excited to find Ohitashi on the menu but the serving was not quite a quarter of a cup and sadly tasted terrible, inedible. Everything was bland or inedible. They also overcharged us by $6. Definitely go somewhere else.

Although not as crowded as original Oishii Sushi (http://www.yelp.com/biz/dr9PgB_kTp998OYWixJYAw) in Chestnut Hill, this satellite location also gets pretty crowded on weekends. Slightly hard to find as the restaurant is hidden from the main street, so make sure you Google Map it before you go. Sushi here is excellent, but for some reason not as good as Chestnut Hill location. I still don't know why, because I'm sure they get their tuna from the same supplier.

As someone who works in Sudbury every week, I am on the lookout for great takeout places. I was happy to give Oishii Too a shot, but sadly won't be coming back. The staff was very nice and knowledgeable about gluten free, but I cannot excuse the poor quality of food. As you will see in the picture, the avocado sushi rolls, in addition to being mostly rice, are not fresh. I understand that sometimes avocado gets a little brown when oxidizing, but some of these pieces are rotten. I kind of can't believe this was allowed to be packed and given to a customer.

Seriously? A delicate piece of Sashimi? The hand belongs to my friend, who is 6'4". And the fish was half frozen and mushy.

First few visits back after they reopened after fire damage were good. All weeknight dinner visits…read more -- Har Gow: Shrimp dumplings fresh and flavorful, but the vessels were so gummy they stuck to each other and the serving tin. Average. -- Beef Teriyaki: A four-stick serving had bumpy, lightly-charred and lightly sweet surfaces, along with good tenderness underneath. Decent marinade flavor. Above average to well above average. -- Mongolian Beef: An outstanding presentation of beef slivers thick enough to be tender, while also getting nicely crisp and a vigorous flavor superior to the teriyaki. Scallions added some extra kick in addition to the sauce. Really good feel and really good taste bring it really close to elite. -- Pork Fried Rice: Lovers of dark pork fried rice are in for a treat, because this is among the darkest and has dark flavor to match. Fresh, hot, not a reheat, and not sitting for hours. I could do without the peas, but all of the other additions-- egg, onion, bean sprouts, and big chunks of fresh pork-- were top notch. A benchmark rice if you're into this style. Elite. -- Chicken with Ginger and Scallion: Long and winding chicken with good tenderness and noticeable ginger flavor, with bold scallions the unsung hero. Closer to a very good dish than a great dish, but bonus points for being neither sweet nor spicy, but still bringing plenty of flavor. -- Chicken Fried Rice: Another example of bold, dark, fresh-cooked rice, this time with chicken. I was expecting shreds and got finger-length pieces that were much more impressive. Elite. -- Boneless Ribs: Lightly lacquered with shiny cross sections, so they were moist, but a bit fatty. Above average for sure, but not elite or close like some other dishes. -- Chicken Fingers: Fresh, hot, and crisp, with some small ones less dazzling, but most pleased. Good meat-to-batter ratio. Optional sweet and sour sauce add-on did dazzle, coming in sweet but dark ruby color and complex. Not your daddy's sauce; this didn't have pineapples and cherries but it did have more flavor. -- Chicken Teriyaki: Charring, coating, tenderness, juiciness, and marinade all combined to make this one of the better renditions. Well above average to near elite. -- Yuen Yang Beef: Very impressive dish, from the quantity, to the textures (perfect on both the beef and the bed of string beans), to the flavors (savory-tingly on the beef, though without much heat, and gingery on the string beans). -- Duck Sauce: Barely a variation from straight apple sauce. Not a strength. Only negative on service is that sometimes one server handles the entire dining room, so there might be waits, but even still, service is always friendly and efficient. This place sometimes gets a bad rap for being expensive, but I believe the quality warrants the prices and that there's good value thanks to execution and consistency.

We have been going to Lotus blossom for years now. They had their ups and downs, happy to report…read morethe food is now Stella again. We usually get a mix of the Chinese as well as Japanese selections and everything tasted great this last time we visited. They can get really busy so service sometime seems a bit more hectic and have misses, but they are friendly and always quick to correct any mistakes.
