We where on a ride to Tombstone and figured everything was closed because of the virus. We came around the corner to the park to take a break and get some water and we saw they where open. We decided to give them a shot to support a local business in these hard times. The employees where very friendly and had us joking together the whole time. 3 of the 4 of us got food. I'm two BLT and one Wyatt burger. The BLT and the burgers where all pretty tasty! We had to eat outside cause of the virus so we walked across to the park. The only thing that was bad is that the tomatoes on the burger and BLT where very old. Other then that I would be back. Its good to see a family own restaurant still doing what they do in times like these. read more

We had out of town guests visiting so decided to go to Tombstone for breakfast. If you haven't been to the OK Cafe you are missing a great experience with great food. We all had a different omelet. Wow..just the best omelets we have had anywhere. Sara was our server, she was just the best. She was so friendly and efficient. Anything we wanted or needed was there in a flash. Excellent place, very friendly, and even with a packed house they greeted us with a smile. The hostess offered several seating options and we were happy to wait (10 minutes). We stayed in the RV park right behind this cafe, so we ate breakfast here two days in a row. Food was very good and the service was too. Even their coffee was good and I'm a bit of a coffee snob! So can't review any meal except breakfast but it was good. Friendly staff too. read more

Six of us went here for breakfast / lunch. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. Two ordered the hash breakfast and said it was one of the best they every had. My chef salad was very good; all dressings are house made. The rest said their meals were also outstanding. The server was perfect. She was very knowledgeable, friendly, and good humor. First time I had a Buffalo burger & it was amazing ! This spot was super busy and the staff are very helpful and friendly! Couldn't decide which burger to get but the portions are very generous and the food is full of flavor. We couldn't even finish our fries. Next time I know to order a couple burgers Togo! We stopped at the O.K. Cafe on a Friday midmorning during Spring Break. The place was moderately busy and we'd just missed breakfast. No problem, from the reviews we expected a good lunch. The business is very obviously short staffed as so many places are these days and we were not in a huge rush. Good thing, it took forever to get service. We ordered grilled chicken with fries, a cheeburger and a bowl of soup. The food was VERY slow to arrive, carelessly prepared and unappetizing to say the least. Nothing was really edible and no one gave a rip about service. My advice, eat elsewhere, the OK is not okay. read more

This was a very pleasant surprise. Looks dull on the outside but the food is great! They serve the best corned beef hash I have ever tasted! They said it is homemade all the way from bringing the meat. Large, juicy chunks of corned beef, Yum. Truly outstanding! The staff were friendly and attentive and made you feel very welcome. Perfect place for breakfast in this timeless western town! The best biscuits and gravy I've ever had. I don't normally write reviews for restaurants, especially when they're busy, but our group of four popped in on a Sunday when the cafe was about half full. Not only were we not greeted when we came in, servers and hostesses walked right past us multiple times without saying anything to us. Finally we decided to take our own seats after about 5 minutes of waiting for someone to acknowledge us waiting for one of the many open tables. When we sat down we were again ignored multiple times by the wait staff. Finally after 15 minutes we got up and left, again no word from any staff member at the cafe. We totally understand the difficulties of being busy and short staffed, but to be completely ignored multiples times seems ridiculous . Terrible service, would not go back. read more

We went to Tombstone for the weekend and was recommended this place for lunch. Walked in and was greeted by the friendliness people!! We had a the best waitress ever named Sara!! She was amazing!! She made us feel like we were family right from the beginning!! Let's just say we hit it off!! We couldn't wait to go back for breakfast this morning and Sara was our waitress again!! She instantly recognized all of us and started where we left off yesterday!! i can't say enough about this place!! If you want breakfast in Tombstone, this is the place to go. I had the short stack which included two fluffy pancakes, two perfectly cooked over easy eggs (and I mean perfectly cooked) and two pieces of likely supermarket sausage. Didn't have a single bad bite. Daughter ordered the blueberry pie. Just order for the table and bring weapons to fight off the other people. They have a good vegan/gluten free selection (wife) and the service is just great. This isn't a foodie place. Just great food and service. read more

Great Buffalo Burgers! Nice and moist and the service was quick and attentive. They also serve breakfast all day which is good. Their prices have gone up but it's still a great deal. I would come back if I were in Tombstone again. The sodas do have a 1 refill limit where the sweet and unsweet teas have unlimited refills. High prices, average food, poor service. Granted they were probably under staffed but I waited almost 10 minutes to be greeted when I sat down. Ordered a Buffalo burger and coffee. The food came out rather quickly, however, the waitress said sh'd bring me a coffee refill and never did. I felt I was pretty much ignored. Never was given a bill or told to pay at the counter so after another 10 minutes I went to the counter looking for a bill. It was sitting there. My husband and the kids and I all had lunch here on Saturday. The food was decent, the service was fast and friendly and the price was acceptable. Keep in mind, this was our first stop of the day after flying into Phoenix from Omaha earlier in the day so we were still accustomed to midwestern prices. Spent the night in Tombstone last weekend, woke up on Sunday morning desperately needing nourishment to combat the night before's encounter with Fireball whiskey. Since it was early morning, my friend and I decided to walk to the OK Cafe for breakfast as it was less than a block from where we were camping (Wells Fargo RV Park). Location: -prime, right on the edge of the tourist strip -easy to find, parking on the street -next door to the Wells Fargo RV Park for those camping/RVing -probably the only place to get breakfast in Tombstone Food: -ordered the one egg plate (with hashbrowns, bacon, toast) and my friend ordered the OK special (a croissant breakfast plate). Both of us were VERY disappointed in our breakfast. -potatoes had the consistency of being boiled then fried for a minute. Half of the potatoes weren't browned at all. No flavor or seasoning whatsoever. -my egg was cooked properly but again, no taste to it, which is strange. You don't realize it, but eggs actually have a very distinct flavor on their own (rich, creamy, etc), but here it's completely tasteless. -croissant sandwich had no seasoning/flavor either, sausage on sandwich was dry. Service: -biker friendly -locals come here (not just tourists) -SLOOOOWWWW to get food. We waited probably 45 minutes for our order to arrive, and the place wasn't that busy. One of our party actually left because he had other stuff to do. -price was under $15 for two people's breakfast with coffee OK Cafe seems like a legit "local" restaurant, but I just can't imagine going back to it at this time. A wait for food (specifically breakfast) should not take 45 minutes. The lack of seasoning was the final bullet in the shootout leading to OK Cafe's untimely death. read more

I expected this place to be better. I have been to Tombstone many times over the years and have never been to the O.K. Café. I was here on Friday morning for breakfast. Ordered two scrambled eggs, which included three slices of bacon (undercooked in my opinion), sourdough toast, and home fries. Everything was just average. I might consider coming back for lunch someday, but a quick look over the rest of the menu revealed higher prices than you would expect. The service was just average too, but not anything that had to do with anyone being rude or not friendly (just about everyone in this town is nice to locals and tourists alike), to me it just seemed like they were understaffed. Not sure why, but was told the O.K. Café closed at 2pm. Odd time to close. Go down the street to Big Nose Kate's Saloon. The Crystal Palace. The Longhorn Restaurant. Or give Café Margarita a shot. All are better than the O.K. Café in my opinion. read more

Went for breakfast early on a Sat. morning & found the Café to be pretty quiet. I ordered the Silver Dollar pancakes with a single scrambled egg. I was served 5 pancakes that were probably only slightly smaller than the usual full sized ones I make at home. I ate 2 1/2 & was full. They were thick & pretty tasty, though appeared oil might have been used on cooktop which kept them from being as soft as I like on the outside (personal preference - stomach issues keep me from cooking with oil). In fairness, I compare all pancakes to a pancake house in the Pocono's (Compton's) & none ever compare! Egg was fine. They had a very nice assortment of all different tea bags. My husband had ham, eggs, home fries & toast. Again good size portion & he enjoyed it all. Waitress was very pleasant & efficient. Prices were def fair for the portion. read more
