Topped with seared albacore, I add jalapeño then Justin tops it with butter fried sliced garlic. Justin's portions are better than anywhere we have tried and always fresh #2 oki dokie is a family owned ran by Justin and his wife. They are very welcoming and very friendly. The sushi and bento were good overall, and the portions were pretty big. I ordered the Hungry Roll, Lemon Salmon, and Baked Salmon Ball. The katsu and teriyaki chicken in the bento were okay, since the meat was a bit hard and not very tender, kinda like it had been overheated. The ambiance was alright. They kept the door open for airflow, but a big bug flew in during our meal, which made me a little uncomfortable. We had planned on eating at a healthy spot in the same complex but saw this sushi restaurant and pivoted our plans. There's lots of parking available at this shopping complex. Upon entry, the restaurant is spacious and clean. We were quickly greeted and seated. The server helped answer our questions about the menu and was a super friendly guy. Since we had planned on eating healthy, we opted for a bunch of their no rice rolls. They were all delicious and fresh! The servings were plentiful and we were stuffed at the end of this yummy meal. Surprised I haven't tried this place sooner! Lots of parking available. They have a nice variety of items including rolls, bentos, and udon. We tried the following rolls: - Orange County roll $14.99 - O.M.G roll $15.99 - Fire Fire roll $14.99 - Fried Squid Tentacles $8.50 (came with 3 skewers) All the rolls were good and fairly big! My favorite was the O.M.G roll. The squid was also good and came with a sweet and sour sauce on the side. Service was also great! They were really nice and attentive. My girlfriend and i felt like something light and fresh so we decided to go to Oki Doki. We have been here once before and we remember it being really good. It was not busy at all when we got there and we were seated right away. We were greeted by the chef and the waiter and they were very nice. We ordered fried squid tentacles and potatoes croquettes along with our main meal which was the sushi special. The food was amazing and the service was just as amazing. We were blown away. The restaurant is nice and clean, not too big which is nice. We will definitely be making our way back soon. read more

In addition to the food, we found everyone working there to be excellent with friendly and attentive service. The garlic albacore roll was surprising- I thought there was rice with it however it was all crabmeat and shrimp tempura inside with seared albacore, avocado slices and an abundance of red onions. We used to come here often when it was Shark Sushi and we never tried it until recently. We were pleasantly surprised and had such a great experience that we kept coming back weekly until I needed to try something else. It's simply your average Sushi Restaurant which serves up Sushi classics along with unique rolls. There's also sashimi and various side's available to order as well. Sake and other alcoholic beverages such as beer are available as well. The sushi was fresh and delicious and the server was nice and attentive. Stopped in here randomly and loved it! We had such a great waiter, Ralphie, he had amazing recommendations on the menu. This place is small, but definitely a fun vibe. The music was good, it was clean -- the only thing that kinda sucked was that they didn't have a changing table for babies in the restroom. I had to squat and change my son over my legs so he didn't have to touch the floor, but I guess it's not really a kid's restaurant so it is what it is! As far as food, we got a Philly Roll, California Roll, Garlic Edamame, garlic Albacore, and one other.. maybe the yellowtail delight, but it was all so good!! The basic rolls were for me, but I tried the garlic albacore (without the actual albacore on top) and the roll itself was SO tasty to me!! Loved it! Food is mediocre and does not have a very creative or original menu. All the sushis revolve around a handful of ingredients arranged in different combinations. Most of the rolls are over stuffed with cheap fake crab that is completely bland and is saturated in mayo. The flavor is very one dimensional and made me feel very bloated after eating. The service was very friendly and we were always greeted with a smile, so I'll give them that. However the waitress was extremely slow and prioritized cleaning tables before giving us our bill. We waited an hour for our bill. This place is understaffed too which explains the slow service. There was only 1 waiter, 1 sushi chef, and one backline cook in the whole restaurant. read more

Food // Ordered: Cajun Tuna Roll, Crispy Rice with Spicy Tuna, and the Baked Crawfish Roll. All the rolls we had tasted good, with the Cajun Tuna being the best of what we ordered. It is smoky, slightly spicy with the spicy tuna inside, and had some nice sauces on it. We are fans of crispy rice with spicy tuna, and this one did not disappoint at all. The rice was nicely crisped, and spicy tuna always hits the spot! Baked Crawfish was decent, had a lot of mayo (the sweetness you get) and overall was just alright. Restaurant // From the outside you wouldn't think that it was so nice inside. There are plenty of tables, and a bar you can sit at. The servers were attentive, and knowledgeable of the menu, and polite. The only issue we had was how long it took to get our food. There was only one single sushi chef cooking all the orders and there were quite a few to-go orders as well as orders for customers inside the restaurant. We heard the waiters telling those calling in that there would be a delay with their orders as there was quite a back up of orders to be made. Notes // Come here if you have plenty of time, as it may take a while to get your order. Overall I say its a 3.5 stars kind of place, with the .5 being rounded up to 4 stars. read more

PARKING: Honestly, everywhere in OC has parking, so yes a big plaza with lots of parking. Shouldn't have an issue. PHONE-IN ORDER: I called twice and both went to voicemail and said their voicemail wasn't set up and hung up on me. I almost tried ordering online via Grubhub because I wanted to try this place, but as I was looking up the menu the restaurant called me back! Weird, but I was glad they did. I put my order in for 3 entrees and one appetizer. They quoted me 30 minutes until my order was ready and it was in fact, ready on time! CUSTOMER SERVICE: Once I made it into the restaurant there was only 1 sushi chef behind the counter and 1 waitress/cashier/to go order/server lady. I see why my 2 phone calls weren't answered. She's literally the only one working! I felt bad, but it's also not her fault, they should have more people on staff even during COVID. That's where I docked one of the stars, otherwise this place was a great first experience! FOOD: $6.45 TAKOYAKI: it's hard for this dish to be perfect when it's not eaten fresh. With that said, the flavor was good. However, it was mushy because it was sitting in a to go container on my drive home. A little too mushy? But I still enjoyed it. There is very little TAKO (squid) inside these balls. I maybe had 2 small pieces inside the one I ate and everyone else said the same. So that kinda sucks. We're really just eating fried dough at this point. $21.95 CHIRASHI: This is assorted sashimi on a bed of sweet sushi rice. I LOVED IT! Their portions are HUGE! Since I took it home, I weigh all my food and it came out to 8 ounces of fish in total. Half of it was just salmon (3oz to be exact) and 1oz of every other fish. In case that helps anyone besides me lol. I also love that they give you thinly sliced red onions and a side of pickled daikon (radish). It's a small, but nice touch. They also do not skimp on the Masago (small orange smelt fish eggs), they gave me a mountain! Would definitely order this again. $3 FRESH WASABI: Added as a side dish to my chirashi bowl. It was so delicious! TRY IT and thank me later. $18.50 THREE ITEM BENTO: Pork cutlet, salmon roll, sashimi (salmon & tuna). Comes with rice, side salad, and miso soup. I did not eat this one personally, but I tried a bite of pork cutlet and it was spot on! The person who ate this dish said everything was wonderful and they'd definitely order it again. Also, this was the biggest portion of all the items we ordered. They couldn't finish it. $9.95 RAMEN: Comes with Cha siu and your choice of sauce flavor between TONKATSU, SHOYU, MISO. We ordered the TONKATSU. Glad they separate the noodles/meat from the soup base so it doesn't soak up into the noodles. As they should, just thought I'd mention. read more
