Would give this place zero stars if I could! We've been loyal customers of this restaurant since 2013, ordering regularly and typically spending between $70 and $100 eachvisit--sometimes even more. Last night alone, we spent $70 on our order. I asked for eight fortune cookies, and they wanted to charge me for them. A Chinese restaurant charging for fortune cookies after a large order is disappointing, especially for long-time customers. They also used to offer free delivery, but now they charge for that as well. It feels like they're constantly nickel-and-diming their customers. The packaging was unacceptable. Our food arrived in a ripped bag, and several containers had been placed on their sides, causing sauces to leak and mix with other dishes. The biggest disappointment was the Combination Noodles. We paid for a combination dish but only received chicken. The noodles were extremely chewy, as if they had been reheated in a microwave. It also looked like extra noodles had been mixed in--some were very light in color while others were much darker--making it appear they were trying to make up for the lack of meat. After more than a decade of being loyal customers, this experience was incredibly disappointing. We've decided to take our business to KPB Asian Bistro in Fullerton, where the food is freshly prepared and the customer service is much better. Very poor online service. Showed up and the paper was just sitting on the side with my order and casually the guy tells me it's going to be another 30 minutes or so. A bad cold usually triggers my urge for Chinese food and the first part of my order is always a large size hot and sour soup. Theirs is very good, has a nice medium spicy flavor and always helps relieve my congestion. I frequently order orange chicken also. Theirs is a little different than most but still good. They are smaller cuts of chicken that are on the crispy side and there are red chilis added in for spice. Looking over my previous orders, I have had the vegetable egg rolls, cream cheese wontons, vegetable chow mein, vegetable pan friend noodles, kung pao chicken, kung pao tofu, Mongolian beef, and szechuan beef and everything has been good. It was a little too gingery for my taste but my vegetarian friend loved it. The rest of the food we ordered though was fantastic. I come here all the time when I'm looking for quick and delicious Chinese food. The House crispy beef is a must-have!! It's crispy with a sauce similar to panda express's Beijing beef. The value of the food here is great as well The salt and pepper pork was juicy and delicious, however there were some pieces that were almost pure fat which I didn't like. The seasoning was on point though. The service isn't the best, but it's highly efficient. When you walk-in, you just sit down as the waitress would just nod at you. You don't even get greeted or welcomed. And when you order, the waitress would just come to your table with her little notepad and just look at you without saying anything. You're expected to just state your order and the meal comes out pretty quick, but not necessarily in order. For example, our rice and appetizers came out last and our entrees came first. The whole restaurant only has 1 or 2 waitstaff and they handle all the dine-in customers as well as take-out phone orders. So please don't fault them if you didn't get a warm welcome, they're very busy and want to make sure everyone gets their food quickly. read more

Ordered a large war wonton soup, honey roasted walnuts shrimp and an order of steamed chicken dumpling. The dishes were served quickly.
