Still sitting here while I write this- it's very solid poke place. I came in because it was one of the few poke places in the area open on a Saturday. I really like the self order kiosk so you can order as slow or fast as you want The actual bowl was good. Not memorable but it filled me up. Some of the pieces of cucumber were strangely bitter so I avoided those, but I don't hold that against them cuz I just want the seafood.
It was right after 6pm and I was strolling around for something to eat til I remembered I needed tofu and saw this store. Came in ended up buying tofu, ramen and a warm rice bowl (which was half off). The bowl was big and tasted very good. The store itself is quite small but it has sufficient things to get in case you need something fast. Place was clean and workers seemed friendly.
Such a great spot to pickup some food to go or sit down to eat! There's a few spots like this one where they serve Japanese food such as onigiris, sushi, and bento boxes but most of those places are to go only and don't really have a place to sit. This little gem is quite spacious and has seating too! There's so many options to choose from and the workers are very kind. They noticed I was eyeing an item that was sold out and offered to have it made for me - how could I resist?! After 7PM I believe they also do a 50% discount deal on hot food and it's such a great deal! I've had whole meals for less than $13. I would highly recommend taking some to go as well. Check them out next time you're in the area and need some quick options!
Went to have lunch and tried this spot. Ordered via the kiosk. It had pictures and you could tailor your ingredients or make your own. Ramen, poke bowls....had the pork volcano ramen. Spice level was more flavorful than hot but I appreciated it. Ingredients were fresh. It was tasty. The offer bottled drinks too. Total lunch was about $20 and we ate in at a high table decorated with bamboo. Lighting was dim which was restful. Nice lunch.
A convenient location with lots of seating. We got two different kinds of ramen and it was just okay. Definitely warmed our souls on a freezing day. The karage chicken was delicious. Would go back just for that item.
The ramen was so good I ate it all. Super easy to order and pay. I like the ambiance and the staff was nice. So good you wouldn't give it to a homeless person
I really wanted something different for dinner and as I was passing Oki I stopped to check out the menu and I noticed the Short Rib Donburi Rice Bowl on the menu and I was instantly sold. The prices are honestly quite reasonable, for a rice bowl and a soup, I paid $16 dollars. The way it works here is you walk in and make your order on a kiosk and then they call your number when the order is ready, it's more of a takeout vibe but they do have seating available if you want to stay. Service was quick and the interaction was very brief. I love that my bowl came with pickled radish on the side and there was also some corn and edamame in the rice and some potatoes throughout and half of a soy egg, which was a nice surprise. I loved the flavor of the short rib, it was very tender and seasoned to perfection with kick of ginger and other spices that really stood out. I enjoyed it and it was very satisfying. I'll be going back to try a poke bowl next.

This is fast food---but oh, it is good and healthy fast food. I've eaten here for years and am surprised I've never done a review for it. Oki Poke is my go-to lunch spot for yummy ramen or build-your-own-poke bowl goodness. Service is actually great. They are fast. Usually I order using the one of the 2 kiosks available. During the lunch rush, it gets busy and lines form to use them. If you want to take your time ordering, it's best you take one of the menus and fill in forms located at the register. Once you mark up everything you want, you bring it to the register and they make your order for you. In this case, I sat back down with my party after doing so and our order was courteously delivered to us. Brownie points! The ambiance is clean and sterile with minimum decoration. Seating consists of tall bar tables with stools and short picnic style tables. There are plugs at these seats if you need to charge up your devices while you eat. There is one all gender restroom available that I've found clean when I've had the to use it. I normally don't like using fast food restrooms :).
It was just ok. I got the rock shrimp but the spicy mayo wasn't spicy enough. The ramen was good but not great. It's passable. I'll try it again and hopefully it's better.
Food was fine. I got the poke bowl with ahi tuna and spicy tuna. The spicy tuna was a little weird. My friend recommends getting the salmon and ahi tuna but since I don't like salmon, I'll take his word on it. It's convenient if you are getting lunch for takeout but has plenty area for seating.
I ordered lunch from here while in the city for work. I was in the mood for ramen or sushi, and their menu and pricing looked appetizing compared to other restaurants in the area. I opted for their lunch special Ebi Ramen. My order didn't take long and the food was very well packaged with no spillage; everything tucked tidily away. The ramen ingredients are packed separately from the broth so as not to over cook everything. I love the attention to detail in that sense. Even the chili oil I requested, arrived immaculate and in tact. The ramen tasted OK. It only came with 3 shrimp which I thought was a bit scant. I'm happy that I paid extra for more fish cake. They gave a bunch and those chewy things bring me back to when I first tasted them, at my best friend's home when we were smaller and her mother would make us yummy ramen lunches. The noodles were not my favorite but there were definitely plenty. It was a decent enough serving where I could finish the whole thing but still feel satisfied. I kind of wished that I ordered an appetizer as well but but I made do. I would order from them again but may get extra protein to round of the meal.
I came here today through Mealpal and got some sort of Tropical Tuna Poke Bowl. It had crab, mangos, cucumbers, fried onions, spicy tuna, regular tuna, and edamame. The poke felt very fresh, but I did wish the overall bowl had a more sauce. My friends made their own poke bowls and really loved them, so I definitely would like to try this place not through Mealpal. It's a cute interior and nice that it's a fast casual place because it's a good workday lunch spot!
Convenient location for convenient food if you're in a hurry. Located across the street from the office, I came in at 3pm and found a pretty empty restaurant/ grocery store - after all it was after the lunch rush. Visually there were a lot of good sushi options, but you never know if you're gonna get cold hard rice so I opted with two rice balls, spicy salmon and shrimp tempura. All rice balls were $3.50 which in all honestly while it makes it simple for everyone, doesn't make too much from a business perspective. The spicy salmon didn't really have a lot of salmon in it, but the rice was flavorful as was the shrimp tempura. What was odd about the shrimp tempura was that there was avocado in it. I don't mind it, but I do wish that ingredient was listed somewhere. Worth coming back to try other things and perhaps when it is the lunch rush where it seems you can order things fresh. read more
Nice place to order poke, so close to Grand Central. I ordered online and got: Sushi Rice, Seared Albacore, Scallop, Sweet Onion, Sweet Chili Gochujang, Hijiki Seaweed, Pickled Ginger, Seaweed Salad. The Sushi rice was really good, as were all others. Loved the Albacore. I got a feeling that sweet onion did not fit in, but that was my choice. Next time I will try their custom pre-made selections, which looked quite compelling. The ordering system inside the restaurant seemed quite good. read more

I was craving ramen today and we stopped in this spot. It was close to our hotel and the menu looked good. The space was clean with self service ordering stations. The place was totally empty. I had the classic ramen. It was a bit underwhelming. The broth was kind of bland and the noodles were nothing special. It fit the bill for warming me up in a blustery day. read more

This is not your typical sit down ramen restaurant. It is actually a fast casual place where you order your food off of a kiosk, and then give the receipt to the counterperson. They then scoop most of the ingredients out of trays on display, ala Chipotle. For such a place, the food was surprisingly above average. We ordered two ramen bowls. While they were not huge, they were very well made. The broth in particular was very flavorful and simply delicious. The chashu pork was quite savory as well. Good quality ramen in a very relaxed setting. They also have appetizers and poke bowls as well. read more

I was on my way home after work a couple of weeks ago and was starved and wanted to grab something quick. The restaurant is a stone's throw from Grand Central. I ordered the short rib don from a self service kiosk. It came w/a side of miso soup. You can't go wrong w short ribs most anyplace u choose. Sweet, tender, meaty and succulent. Steaming hot rice. I would've like more accoutrements like a few more spoonfuls of corn or some scallions or other types of veg. I inhaled that whole bowl while on the MetroNorth train ride. So satisfying. Next time I'm gonna try the restaurant's namesake, poke and ramen. read more

I ordered a build your own poke bowl through Postmates. It was made and delivered quickly and the fish seemed fresh. There was a decent amount of fish and toppings, which I appreciated since a lot of poke places skimp on the fish with delivery orders. I had the kale noodles as a base which were nice. Only one small complaint that the mango was very unripe, but not a big deal. read more
We came here on a Saturday around 2:30. There weren't many customers so the turn around between ordering and getting our food was very quick. Great tasting ramen bowl, the spice is sufficient and made the dish tasty. It helped clear my sinuses even during allergy season. Ordered a Kirin beer to complement the dish. I came here on my lunch break for a poké bowl, selecting one of the signature formulations. I ordered at the kiosk, making a few modifications. The dish was put together quickly, and I received it at the counter. Well... Not impressed. The mango chunks were hard and bitter, clearly from a fruit nowhere near ripeness. The Mandarin oranges were far too sweet and syrupy, overpowering just about all the other flavors. I also wasn't too enthusiastic about the ball of spicy tuna: I'd recommend sticking with intact fish options. The kale noodles were surprisingly good, and I enjoyed the regular tuna and the edamame. It's hard to go too wrong with a poké bowl, but this one was unsatisfactory. I probably won't be back. read more

Ordered off Uber eats for a BOGO free 6 piece gyoza! The potstickers were yummy and plentiful with a sweet soy sauce dip. I also ordered the volcano ramen. I reheated the soup base separately and it was perfect to soften the al dente cooked noodles. The soft boiled egg was nicely seasoned and the pork charsu pieces were tender and large. For me, it was almost 5 stars if the broth was just a little more umami. The broth was not too salty and the spice level was great. $14 for the ramen and would easily be $16 or more at other places. Would recommend and order from here again! read more

Came here for dinner to go. I walked passed it earlier and it looked good. I was planning to sit outside to eat, but it started to drizzle. I ordered the short rib donburi, which came with miso soup. I also ordered shrimp shumai. Everything was tasty. I felt the donburi, needed a sauce so I added the dipping sauce that came with the shumai. Perfect! Next time I'll try the ramen. They are taking great social distancing measures. Go and enjoy! read more

Tried this place randomly after looking up ramen near where I was at and was not disappointed! Food came out pretty quickly considering the lunch rush and I like that they have lunch prices plus ramen was super tasty! read more

I've tried many different poke bowls around the city and this place so far has the biggest portion per price ratio! For $15 (since avocado was +$1.5) I was stuffed at the end of the meal. The salmon and ahi tuna itself was...okay. It wasn't anything to write home about and wasn't spectacular or anything. The rice was also a bit hard. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here but if you are hungry and in the area it would fill you up. read more
