Ordering thru GH as I did not cook for Thanksgiving, I knew that most Chinese establishments would be open and available to deliver. Their orange chicken matched comparably, flavor-wise, to other chinese restaurants... iow not spicy enough, but palatable nonetheless. Only the egg drop or hot and sour soup was included. Hate both of those. I felt like I was nickled and dimed for a lunch prep size container of mostly onions and a overly sweet Mongolian gravy. Long time guest - this is some of our favorite food in the metro area. Service is always top notch, lunch deals are great, but don't let the lunch menu miss their amazing menu! Every time we go I get something different and it never lets down! I have passed this place so many times without paying attention to it, but I'm glad I stopped in for dinner! I think this restaurant is still kinda new due to the signage outside. When I walked in, I saw most of the tables full with quiet conversation. There was some Asian R&B playing in the background, and the lighting was soft--a great place for a date! The restaurant is a bit on the smaller side, so keep that in mind. Service was awesome and everyone was moving quickly to service every customer. I ordered the scallion pancake, plum wine, and fish in chilli oil. The scallion pancake was great; crispy and light. I have never had plum wine but I'm so glad I tried it. It's very sweet and potent lol! The fish in chilli oil was amazing as well. I got a huge bowl of it. I love spicy food and this was definitely spicy, so beware lol! The total for Al 3 items was around 40 bucks, which I think is great. I would definitely come back and I recommend that you try it out. read more

They've been on my bookmarks for a while b/c various Dunwoody residents kept raving about them - didn't realize I'd been overlooking them so many times b/c they're located in the same shopping center as the former Walmart ... next to the post office. Super nice staff. Somewhat smaller space than I imagined for a Chinese restaurant. Lunch specials Mon-Sat, 11-3pm ... yes Sat too! Great deal for $10.50 - a little more if you want beef or shrimp. MONGOLIAN CHICKEN - $10.50 I asked my server for her favorite dishes - she said General Tso's Chicken and I was like no, so I asked her for other favorites and she said Mongolian Chicken ... which I was eyeing anyway. It was absolutely delicious - all their dishes are cooked to order (so be patient), and the portion is very good. The dish was also loaded with lots of red onions, a few green onions, and just a sprinkling of the white crispy noodles. Lunch specials also come w/ soup and rice - I got the hot and sour which was tasty! MAPO TOFU W/ GROUND PORK - $10.50 When deciding between the Mapo Tofu and Eggplant - she said Mapo Tofu. Also good dish but realized I forgot to say hold the Sichuan numbing oil when I took a bite ... not a fan of the tingling sensation haha. However the dish did have a lot of good flavor ... maybe even on the salty side but otherwise nicely done. Also enjoyed the sauce w/ ground pork and leeks ... great w/ your rice! After all these years of eating Chinese food, do they really think we can't tell the difference between the flavor of stinky tofu and salted egg yolk corn? So this establishment is a very Nice and clean place. It's in a strip mall in Dunwoody and has free parking. They have music playing for the ambience so it's not totally quiet there. The staff is very friendly as well. It is a restaurant and they have some beers in the cooler but they do not have a full bar here at the also have wine as well so if you're coming to drink, this may not be the place. It is very very clean and they are very friendly so that was a good selling point for me. They have a really good lunch special so make sure you try it then (very good prices). I will list the things that I have had below. Egg drop soup - this was good. Nothing super special but it was pretty good. I think it was better than the hot and sour soup honestly. Hot and sour soup - it was was okay but I really wasn't a super fan. I probably would not get it again. General Tso - Now this was solid, it didn't have the largest portions there, but what they did have was sauced very well. The chicken was pretty large and meaty so it wasn't like they tried to skimp you at all. Mongolian beef - to me what's good and was very flavorful as well. It was a lunch portion that I had but it was a decent sized lunch portion. Overall this was a great experience for lunch. We were in the far suburbs, the land of strip malls and chain restaurants. And my brilliant wife finds Wok Provisions -- on Yelp of course. This is one of those places that was a huge surprise -- excellent food and service. We shared two dishes so I can't give you a full menu analysis. That said, the soup dumplings were excellent and the Sichuan eggplant was even better. Fresh eggplant, bell peppers and loads of wood ear mushrooms. The sauce was a mixture of hot and sour -- just right. The portion of social eggplant (lunch menu) was meant for one person but was huge. And it came with a choice of egg drop or hot and sour soup. The young man who waited on us was very helpful. Ambience was basic store front restaurant. Plenty of parking out front. I wouldn't drive across town for Wok Provisions but I sure hope they open a branch close to me. This was great Chinese food. No gimmicks. read more

The general tso was very good, I wish it had more sauce with it. Not spicy at all but I think you can adjust the spice. One Saturday afternoon, while shopping for some furniture, I had a mighty powerful hunger and Wok Provisions in Dunwoody was close and sounded good. The service was fast and friendly and the food utterly delicious! We ordered the Crab Rangoon, Hot and Sour Soup, Chicken Soup Dumplings, Crispy Chicken Nuggets, and Mapo Tofu. The Crab Rangoon were delicious. They were perfectly fried and crispy. The filling tasted great...that slightly sweet crab and cream cheese filling that some other restaurants get wrong by just filling the wonton with cream cheese only... The Chicken Soup Dumplings were great. They take longer to come out than the rest of the meal because they make them fresh and steam them to perfection. They are worth the wait! Be careful when eating them...they are fresh and HOT! The Crispy Chicken Nuggets were absolutely phenomenal. The chicken meat tasted so fresh and juicy. The nuggets are seasoned with, what I think was, Sichuan peppers, peanuts, and something crunchy and addictingly salty. I would order this every time. Lastly, the Mapo Tofu was great. Nicely spiced and the tofu silken as should be. All in all, this Chinese restaurant is everything I need it to be and will be placed in to regular rotation...furniture or not! read more

Extremely good Chinese food. I got the General Tso lunch special, and the chicken was incredibly crunchy, yet tender and juicy. It was a great value for lunch as well at only $11. They had plenty of American Chinese options as well as some more authentic Sichuan options. The egg drop soup was included and tasty, but could have used a bit more salt. Most time Chinese restaurants have tasty nice wings these were not good. The other issue is they do not offer brown rice at all which is really strange. The other dishes and soup are really good. I got myself a Hot and Sour Soup (Good!), Pork Egg Rolls (Burned, not great), and the House Rice Noodle. It's thin vermicelli rice noodle, but the portion size was tremendous. There's not too much to say. The two appetizers and the noodles, with a soda was 25 dollars. Well worth it given the tremendous (Easily noodles for 2 normal people) value here. The quality for everything but the egg rolls was really good as well. This isn't better than your local go-to Chinese shop, but Wok Provisions is another quality restaurant in town. read more

I know this is the perimeter but there simply isn't any good Chinese food in the permitter. So this wins. It's WORTH THE TRIP. God this place is so good and so quick. My metric for good Chinese is good Chicken and Broccoli so you can take that with whatever grain of salt you want. But this shit is GOOD. They don't skimp on the sauce, which is a blessing. Well I can say is this place totally blew us away. My wife is Chinese and her best friends nanny who is Chinese and cooks for their Chinese family went back to China for vacation. So this Friend was searching for authentic Chinese while the nanny is away. She found this restaurant in highly recommended it to us. My wife is Chinese and we go for traditional Chinese dishes. The taste of this food was absolutely authentic and outstanding. The portions were copious and the prices were extremely reasonable. Everyone of the dishes surprised us. The server recommended the chairman Mao pork belly which they cooked in a pressure cooker and it was actually served in the pressure cooker at the table. The beef dry fried with Chinese celery again fabulous. I love the cold black mushrooms and their version was phenomenal. Lastly the eggplant with ground pork I mean perfectly done. We live in Sandy springs and now we don't have to travel to Buford highway or to pleasant Hill to get super high quality food. This place is a gem in the old Walmart shopping center in Dunwoody near perimeter Mall. The server was super sweet and the food came out quickly so I have nothing negative to say I and I can't rave enough about the quality, the quantity the service. read more

Has pieces of corn in it and a corny flavor. Wonton soup - very good. wontons have lots of meat and are tasty. Cucumber salad - this is one of the things I would order again. Very fresh and flavorful. Szechuan dumplings - not a big fan. Something odd about the flavor. Not nearly as good as a Food Terminal. Soup dumplings - good, but not as good as lan zhou on Buford Highway. Bang bang shrimp - good flavor, but very goopy. Service was really good, staff was pleasant, and the food can quickly. I liked this restaurant for many reasons. The service was very good and the dining room was exceptionally clean. They have a tv that was playing a video of a lady making fancy Chinese desserts. I was sort of mesmerized. All of the food came out quickly as we were one of the only peoples dining in. They were however doing a lot of to go orders. The soup was delicious. I had the egg drop. It had a little surprise of corn in it. They offer lunch specials on Saturday so that was another thing I enjoyed. I had the kung pao chicken made extra spicy. It had the heat! It had several types of spicy peppers in it including some habanero. My least favorite part of the meal was the crab Rangoons. They were oily and served lukewarm. They did have a decent flavor and the dipping sauce was nice. The spicy chicken nuggets were a huge pile of chicken pieces , spicy peppers, and peanuts. I really enjoyed this dish. I dipped the chicken in the Rangoon sauce and that was superb. I would recommend this place and come back for sure read more

This fantastic gem is located in a large strip center near Perimeter Mall. The restaurant is new, auspiciously clean and we had a friendly, knowledgeable, gracious waitress who knew her stuff. The Szechuan food is exceptional. The dry fried eggplant made me want to cry a little with flavorful joy that was bursting with fresh peppers and bright green herbs. Then came the pork soup dumplings, delicately wrapped in house made dough and served with a black vinegar and garlic sauce that was just a perfect compliment. After, came the Kung pow chicken, which I wasn't too excited about. Was I ever wrong. The chicken fell apart in my mouth and the veg was blistered but still crunchy with fresh peanuts and a slight flavor of anise. This meal in Dunwoody was some of the best Chinese food I've ever enjoyed and that includes SFO, LA, NY and China. I can't wait to go back. read more

However, the Beef was absolutely delicious. It was so tender and flavorful that it was like smooth butter. I wish I had gotten more! The soup and Rangoon were delicious as well. Beautiful restaurant with great ambience! I was surprised to see a new chinese restaurant open up in town, and I was pleasantly surprised to see how good it was. It was slow for a Sunday, but I guess it's because they just had their opening recently. I walked in and was greeted by one of the servers here. Everyone was friendly, and even the chef came out to check on my experience. He only speaks mandarin, but he was especially accommodating and friendly. This restaurant has authentic Szechuan options as well as more Americanized chinese dishes. Today I tried the stir-fried string beans, sweet and sour spare ribs, crispy beef, and grandma's noodles. Everything was DELISH. I was so happy after our meal. The flavors were great, and so was the presentation. I will be coming back to try more soon! Next time I'll probably go for the bamboo flounder fish and Mongolian beef. read more
