Open til 12:30... clean and safe bowling. Has a restaurant, bar, and even a diner all inside! Game room too. Friendly staff. Lots of seating space between lanes which you don't see at many alleys. Pricing was cheap!! $13 from 9:30 when we got there til end of night with shoes... 4 teenagers didn't even last that long! Great value, great fun. A must for big and little kids and to eat there too. Bathrooms clean, parking good. Locations easy in town. Go now...

'ASS' 'TIT' and 'JIZ' go bowling

'ASS' 'TIT' & 'JIZ' go bowling. Who wins? Me - (TIT) - Cuz I wear the C-Cup Bra in this trio... Haven't been bowling in a while and I work up such a sweat cuz I'm a hottie and so I take my sweatshirt off and then watch as the old Bowling Angels of Mercy swerve in and give me their wonderful, joyous tips. Especially the man who wasn't playing but sitting behind us. After my five scratchers wore out and I won nothing and I was down by like, I dunno... Many fucking points... Not fucking points, mind you, but like - BOWLING SCORES... Anyways. Man says: "Be your sex. Play like a girl. You be tryin to play like a boy, you're throwin that ball too hard! You got no control. Just wait and go easy. Be feminine. Drop the ball closer to your body. You don't gotta swing it so HARD! You tryin to play like the boys and you can't do that, you don't have the strength yet. Don't worry about it so much, if you just go easy and drop it close to your body it'll go straight. You wait. Just see." AND BOOM! My hero. My Black Angel of Mercy - I love you, Sir. Scores started to climb up after he bestowed his wisdom, but see - Jiz took the damn game and it was close between him and Ass. Lady behind counter was very sweet. When I redeemed the one scratcher that won she asked me if Ass found his ball (see, incidentally that was the sole reason we were here on a Tuesday afternoon as Ass had presumably had too much beer the night before or had otherwise been too stoned to remember his found object beach ball bowling dynamite very cool looking heavy round thing...and left it behind here). Yup he did find it. Right away, in fact. There's a restaurant inside here too but now... I wouldn't care about a silly thing like THAT...now... would I? Bathing suit season is coming up. Woke up this morning thinking... Bowling... bowling... The perfect protagonist.

There should seriously be one of these in every town/city. Breakfast and bowling under one roof. The idea may sound dingy, but it's immaculately clean throughout, with great service from the waitstaff and the folks in the bowling alley section too. The blueberry pancakes were a slight disappointment. My friend said it best, "Instead of three pancakes and so few blueberries per pancake, they should just do two pancakes with the same about of blueberries." Great idea. The pancakes were huge - needlessly - but seriously lacking blueberries. The bowling alley was sparkly new. New shoes, clean lanes, etc. My friends and I had a great time there last week. Go. Eat. Bowl.

The building itself contains a variety of services including MWR, the bowling alley, a few social clubs, classroom/meeting spaces, and a restaurant. I did decide to give the cafe a try yesterday for their endless pizza and salad buffet for less than $8 per person, and let me tell you this- you get what you pay for. To me, I'd rather pay a lot more for one single pizza with great toppings than to get a lot of mediocre slices for not much, but I'm not the average consumer who the buffet caters to at lunch. The cafe is now cashless, which you would think would make going through the lines a lot faster, but it's slow as heck. Despite that, the lunch buffet was PACKED the entire time, and I imagine they are still making pretty good money off it. Other than the cafe, the meeting rooms are standard, and have little circulation, which is especially tedious for all day, week-long classes. Acoustics aren't great either, which means you can hear everything that's going on in other rooms, and the kitchen is directly across from the classroom which means it pumps food smells into the classroom all day. For the people this site is built for- junior/new military members to base, and single people, this is the perfect socializing hub. For others, this is quite below a lot of average standards, but if you know that going into it, you won't be surprised. Typical Navy.

We are a very inexperienced group of bowlers and they kindly put us on the farthest lane. The food server promptly took our food order and checked up on us a few times. The other family (from out of town) really liked the food and especially the pricing (considering we were thinking about Foxwoods's High Roller bowling lounge. A similar package was $300) We ordered (3 at $4 each) hot Suppi stuffies, and order of (4) breadsticks with beer cheese (amazing), a Mac and cheese (topped with crispy bacon and toasted breadcrumbs) with (4) wings combo, and a pepperoni pizza (in addition to the cheese pizza in our package). For the 6 of us (2 of them being children) we still took home some left overs. Like I said - we're inexperienced bowlers and it took us 2 hours to play 2 games of bowling on 1 lane for the 6 of us. Our 2 hours fell right on our 10th frame of the second game and they were nice enough to add 10 minutes to our game. Make sure to tip the staff and servers. They were super helpful and friendly. We will be back soon!

Having…read morebeen around since 1960, this place had seen better days by the '80s when I was in high school, and apparently continued that downward trend for a while. But someone clearly invested wisely in bringing this Rhode Island institution into the modern era. The updates are impressive and practical. Everything runs smoothly - from the quick ball returns and pin setups to the modern scoring system. They've switched to hourly rates instead of per-string pricing, which makes a lot of sense with their efficient setup. Their Monday-Friday special ($20 for an hour of bowling plus shoe rental) is a great deal - and thanks to how quickly everything runs, you can easily fit three strings into that hour, as we discovered when we overbooked for two! The facility itself is super clean, including the bathrooms (always a telling sign). They've covered all the bases for refreshments with both a proper bar/food setup and vending machines. The counter staff is friendly, parking is plentiful, and the whole operation runs like a well-oiled ball return machine. It's great to see a family entertainment spot that's both well-maintained and affordable. Lang's has managed to preserve its community bowling alley character while giving customers all the modern conveniences they expect. Perfect for family time or a fun afternoon with friends.

Did you give me someone else's slip? I pointed out the price discrepancy. She replied: "maybe he didn't ring it in as a White Russian???"... Look, I paid for it under protest. It was still there throughout both our games. At the beginning of the first game I went to the bar to order drinks and a snack. Couldn't find anyone there. Stopped a worker who was walking by, asked how I order food for the bowling lane. He said they come around at the lanes taking orders. Great... so I went back. Half way through the game, nobody showed up. Went back to the bar and told them nobody has come around to take orders. No apology or "I'll send someone right away", just asked if I want to order at the bar. Ok, so I did. Then, nothing showed up for the rest of the game. Finally at the end of the 10th frame bartender comes up and says they don't have the ingredients to make the drink. So I said forget it, we don't want anything. Then we went to do axe throwing. Nobody was working at the axe throwing counter. Had to walk all the way around to find someone at the bowling desk, who eventually went to the axe throwing desk. Then they moved us from one booth to another to another because they couldn't get the machine to work. Took a while, error messages showing up and the worker didn't know how to push the "ok" button on the error messages. Finally they got it to work. The axe throwing wood targets are in TERRIBLE SHAPE! There were several HUGE like 2 inch wide gaps in the wood so that several times the axe would hit perfectly but inside the gap so it bounced out even though it would have stuck if those gaps weren't there. C'mon management, maintain them! How much could it cost to replace big rough pieces of lumber? Positive things: the price is right. This place cost about half of what other bowling alleys cost. The place seems fairly clean and not run-down. It has potential to be a successful business. It was not a terrible experience but definitely needs better management. Management: pay attention: How to Have Successful Business 101: Stock the bar. (I see a few other review here about how the bar was lacking supplies). Maintain the facilities. Have servers clean up and take orders. You will make more money that way! Make sure employees are present and motivated. The employees seem not to care. They need to at least seem to be pumped up and cheerful and eager to serve the clients. They could earn lots of tips that way too.
