We stopped for drinks and dinner on a late Saturday afternoon. We had comfortable bar seats with view of the outdoor deck and great televisions for weekend football the afternoon we visited. Morgan was our friendly personable bartender and the fish sandwich and corn chowder was the best we've had in a long time. Looking forward to going back soon!

Service was fine. But the food was awful. Sent the calamari back, should've sent the crab cakes back too. Stuffies were okay, not great. Coconut shrimp was the best but not over the moon about any of it.

The location and layout are what this place has going for it. The service was friendly enough but the food was just not great. Maybe it's my own fault for not ordering seafood?! Although, I did try my friends calamari and found it to be dry, definitely previously frozen and just bland. I would come here again to enjoy the gorgeous views from the bar but would probably not bother to order food.

Visited Rhode Island for 2 days and was there in Bon vue both days .. I loved it on Saturday with live band .. the only issue was there was no food :( just drinks .. they should atleast have some finger food .. good service .. pool for a dollar is good .. and lottery was interesting .. over all a good experience :)

The Bonvue is open again post COVID. The second level deck is not very crowded, has a nice breeze and a pleasant view. Fine place to enjoy a drink and the Summer air. Indoors it's a sparsely decorated version of the old time hang, with the lights up brighter than any nightclub really needs. I think I'll wait on going back inside until the bands are back in town.

I visited Bonvue on a Sunday afternoon after spending the day at the beach. I just tried the drinks but from what I could tell the food looked pretty good as well. We sat outside on the deck looking right over the water which was so awesome. It was the perfect day out so this made for a great experience. It was really relaxing after sitting in the sun all day. It's super casual and the server was really down to earth and helpful. I got a strawberry daiquiri that was actually pretty strong for a frozen cocktail. The drive from the beach is super close and could even be within walking distance depending on what beach you go to. I hear that it gets busy here on weekend nights so I'd love to go back to check that out or to try the food!

The three things I look for in a brewery are an inviting (dog friendly) outdoor space, accessibility to some good food, and (of course) some quality beers. Tower Hill is two for three - I really can't comment on the food aspect, but they do link available BYO options that will deliver to the brewery. We just didn't order anything. The bartender was excellent - friendly and helpful and knowledgable on the beers offered. His opinions of the beers in the flight I tried matched my own. He definitely added to the overall experience. They're situated in a business plaza and their outdoor area is a row of parking stalls that they walled off and set up picnic tables, comfortable chairs, and corn hole with some outdoor carpeting that made the aesthetic a bit more inviting. They also have quite a few events on their calendar including trivia nights and live music which is what pushed them into the five-star range for me. I had to think about this rating since I live about and 8-hour drive from them, but next time we visit New England, I intend to try to convince Mama to make South Kingstown a waypoint so we can try the food options, enjoy the entertainment, and be able to more thoroughly enjoy the beer offerings without having to think about making a long drive afterwards. So yeah, if it ends up being an hour out of our way, I'll still try to convince her to add Tower Hill to the itinerary! My rating scale: 1 - Just don't 2 - You'll survive, but there are better choices close by 3 - Good choice if you're in the area 4 - I'd drive 30 minutes out of my way just to come here 5 - I'd try to convince my wife to drive an hour just to come here

The birthday boy enjoyed his free birthday beer (one of the many perks of celebrating at Tower Hill), while I opted for a flight featuring Boss Light, New Zealand Pilsner, Black Point & a refreshing passionfruit hard seltzer. It was a great way to sample a variety of styles & I enjoyed all of them. As if great beer was not enough, we were treated to live entertainment by a traditional pickin' & grinnin' acoustic jam band. Calling it a band hardly does it justice - there were at least 20 musicians! Guitars, banjos, fiddles, mandolins... the room was filled with incredible talent & toe-tapping tunes. It felt less like watching a performance & more like being part of an old-fashioned musical gathering. Between the delicious brews, the lively music & the festive birthday vibes, it was the perfect way to cap off the evening. We will definitely be back for another pint & hopefully another jam session! Highly recommend. NOM NOM NOM... well, in this case, SIP SIP SIP #YUM

Adam waited on us at the inside bar and provided phenomenal service. His knowledge, enthusiasm, and dedication to his guests are a tremendous asset to your establishment. I would be remiss if I did not also recognize Eve, Casey, Paige, Al, Jordan, Dan, and Jeff. You have an incredible service team that is second to none. We have spent time at both the restaurant and the Tiki Bar, and most recently we had the pleasure of being served by Gina, who was also exceptional. As a former employment recruiter, I can honestly say that I would be trying to recruit this incredible staff myself! They are dedicated, positive, hospitable, and take tremendous pride in both their professional and personal service. They consistently perform under maximum stress with efficiency, professionalism, and a smile. I understand there is currently a contest on Yelp, and we would like to nominate Adam. He embodies everything you could want in a member of your waitstaff: spirit, dedication, knowledge, enthusiasm, and genuine devotion to providing an outstanding guest experience. He has a wonderful ability to make guests feel as though they are not only being well cared for, but that he is genuinely enjoying his job as well. Choosing one person was extremely difficult because your entire team deserves recognition. However, Adam stood out as a phenomenal leader, and that is why we are choosing him for our nomination. I would gladly hire or recommend any one of these fine young men and women. They are truly exceptional representatives of George's. We wish those who are moving on to college or graduate school all the best in their future endeavors. We will certainly continue to frequent George's, as we have for many years, and look forward to seeing this wonderful team whenever we visit. Thank you for having such an incredible group of people representing your establishment. They truly make the experience special! Cousins, Annie & Tommy (Annie 401-241-9427)

Nothing fancy inside or out, but who cares when the food served and service provided are outstanding. FIVE Stars does not fairly measure our level of satisfaction with our dining experience from food to service to cost. Warm crusty bread loaf with EVVO Dip was brought to table right away. The dip was the most flavorful I have had in a restaurant. Orders included: Blue Mussels Appetizer in a Gorgonzola broth with onions, a special. (Large quantity $13.) Amazing! Seafood Risotto -- Outstanding! Perfectly cooked rice base with lobster, scallops and shrimp. Seasoned skillfully. Filet Mignon -- with a blue cheese sauce was tender and flavorful. Lazyman Lobster -- Seafood stuffed (1 1/4 pound) was my selection. Surprised the crumb topping enhanced the rich buttery seafood. I usually toss it aside. Would order again! (Only $34.99) The sides were also very good: Smashed garlic mashed Homemade warm golden hued Kettle Chips Al dente Broccoli Medley of seasonal vegetables Only one exception: A side order of French Fries was not appetizing. It tasted greasy and was over salted. Fries were on thin side and stuck together. Overall, food exceeded our expectations, and we are eager to return. We are interested in trying one or more of their FOUR Calamari Apps. I am intrigued by the Thai style one with a peanut sauce. They have a Lounge Menu and a Dining Room menu with creative seafood and steak options. We believe Mariners is far superior to nearby George's Restaurant in Galilee in food prep, service, and cost.

We literally had to point it out on the menu so she could copy it to her order pad. The wine pour was generous. We were served a complimentary loaf of bread warm from the oven with an olive oil dip. Delicious! For our mains, I ordered the broiled sea scallops ($26), one of their nightly specials. I chose rice as one of my sides & asked if they could steam some broccoli for the other, which they did. My friend ordered the Garlic Parmesan Mushroom Chicken ($20) with angel hair pasta. Both were large servings & very good. We ordered a piece of their chocolate cake to share for dessert, which the restaurant generously comped as it was my friend's birthday. The entire bill came to just under $72 before tip. Unfortunately, there is a 3.5% upcharge if you use a credit card, a practice I truly dislike.

This was fine except there was half an avocado on top that even a very generous drizzle of balsamic glaze couldn't hide was past it's prime. We drove up to the building and there really is nothing special about it, very few windows and some over grown trees in the parking lot. I didn't have high hopes. When entering into the restaurant the appearance of the bar and dining area was actually decent. Wood floors, wooden tables and a nice atmosphere at the bar. There was a bit of a cleaning supply/bar smell when you first walk in. Again I wasn't expecting much. The kids ordered a small Caesar salad and pasta with butter as their main dish. My husband and I both ordered the marinated grilled chicken with vegetables and potato. A fresh hot loaf of bread with butter was placed on the table right away. It was definitely out of the oven hot and delicious. The kids devoured most of it and we ordered a second one. The waitress, Grace was very attentive and ensured we had everything we needed for the table. I have to say the service was excellent as expressed on other reviews. Definitely a plus with kids! Our kids devoured the Caesar salad. It had fresh lettuce, shredded cheese, croutons and well mixed in dressing. They loved it! When our main dishes arrived, it looked promising, two pieces of nicely grilled chicken on the dish. When I tasted it, I was impressed! It was delicious! Perfectly grilled, not rubbery, and very tasty. The meal came with a side sauce of our liking. I chose the lemon butter on recommendation of the waitress. Perfectly paired! The kids pasta and butter was buccatini and was nice and hot, with a side of potato chip fries. Very good and very unique. They ate it all! Overall, ChopHouse Grille exceeded my expectations. While it isn't on the same level as a special occasion restaurant like the Coast Guard House, it offers solid food, excellent service, and a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere. We never felt out of place dining with our kids, and the staff made the experience easy and enjoyable. I would definitely return to try one of their steaks next time.
