The bf and I first came to this Old Navy to quickly find him a few pairs of jeans. Once we walked in we saw that they were offering some crazy deals...so we ended up spending a little bit more time than we thought we would. We walked out with 3 pairs of jeans, 3 sweaters and a jacket for him...all for around $125! Nice! Few extra highlights - *A lot of clean dressing rooms. *Friendly service throughout the store. *Huge selection of jeans and clearance items. *Free parking - since it sits in a shopping center, there's plenty of it too. I'm not a fan of Old Navy but my sister had a coupon and wanted to buy some new clothes for my baby nephew. The upstairs contains the children and baby sections (and a very small maternity area) Both my sister and I agreed that their baby selection is better here than other Old Navy stores. Old Navy is cheap (in price and quality) which is fine for baby clothes because after a couple months, the don't fit anymore. As long as they continue carrying a cute selection of baby boy clothes, I'll be stopping in to pick up new outfits for my little guy. read more

I actually prefer this location to the Bridgepointe one. I just like the layout better. It's also a good location in that it's near Barnes and Noble and Macaroni Grill. Caution: During the holiday season, this location seems to have the biggest lines for both pre-Xmas shoppers an post Xmas shoppers returning merchandise. At Bridepointe it's not as bad, but it's this particular location that draws huge lines to buy. read more

So, I typically would score higher because I really like Old Navy, but Today's experience has left me unsettled. I went in for the $4 micro fleece pants that were advertised in an Email I received this morning. In addition to several micro fleece pants, I also purchased two pairs of house slippers and two shirts. There were plenty of signage around the store for sales, but hard to tell if they were accurate. NONE of the price checkers were working in the store. I tried 4 different ones in all sections of the store and none were set up to do the price checking. So naturally, I went into line and wanted to double check if the signage matched the house slippers, signed at $5.00, so I asked the associate if she could kindly check the price on the slippers. She proceeded to throw the slippers on the counter and asked me "YOU WANT ME TO CHECK ALL OF THIS?" meaning all of the fleece pants and shirts as well. I replied No.. because all I needed her to check were the slippers in which I mentioned at the beginning of the transaction. Why was there a need to throw down my slippers and rudely ask if I wanted to price check ALL of my items? and even if I did, would that be an issue?! None of your price scanners work, so truthfully, that is the only other way for us Customers to find out pricing since the signage could be incorrect. Speaking of incorrect signage. The chambray shirt and green utility shirt that were marked in a section for $10.00 were coming up in the system incorrectly. Again, I got an attitude by the associate because I was 100% sure of the sign I saw. She radioed someone to confirm the signage, but still did not seem to want to match the price listed on the signage. Her overall attitude was unwelcoming and I always used to tell my former associates at Nordstrom, if you don't want to work here, there are hundreds of others who would love to take your job and happily put a smile on their faces. Unfortunately I did not see her name tag (not sure if she was even wearing one) and the receipt does not show her name, instead it is an employee number. Wish I lived closer to this Old Navy. Customer service was amazing! I was in line and it started it get long so they used their head set to call more people over. They announced it to so we knew they noticed us. LOL The Old Navy close to me ignores the line and doesn't use their head set for good use. There was a small maternity section and not a lot on sale. This is my go to place to stop when I've procrastinated waaay too long and have to find something quick for that girls night out or work dinner party . It's currently 4:37PM on March 19th 2022 and the Asian women "Lisa" that works at the stand has the most disgusting attitude I've ever encountered in my entire life. When we first walked in over an hour ago, I noticed that her attitude was really bad with the first group of people who was dealing with her but it's extremely unacceptable. Not only is her attitude horrible, but they lied and told us it'll be a 40 minute wait, just for me to call after waiting over an hour and for them to say they sent a text to my phone telling me the table was ready when they didn't... her and the other girl standing at the front desk literally lied. I have been to Hamadas so many times but I'll never come back here a day in my life. I drove over an hour to come here and having to receive horrible customer service from Lisa has guaranteed that it will never happen again. I'm actually surprised there are a lot of negative reviews at this Old Navy location. I've been shopping at this place for several years and i really can't remember having any bad experiences. Here are my pros and cons: Pros: 1. There are A LOT of parking spaces in front of the store and yes they are FREE! 2. If you have an Old Navy credit card you can get a 10% discount every Tuesday. 3. There is a Traders Joe next to the store and the Hillsdale Shopping Center is in walking distance. 4. I'm actually surprised that most of the negative reviews are from customer service because i've never experienced any bad ones before! Whenever i go to this location i'm always welcomed with a friendly smile and ask me if i need any assistance. In one case i asked a jacket that i couldn't find in my size and they were able to find one at another location and ship it to my place with no extra cost!!! 5. There is a clearance place where you can find some decent stuff at a fair price. 6. The place is well organized and clean. 7. They get in new inventory almost all the time so the next time you walk in, it is not like you remembered it from the last time. Cons: 1. During busy hours it will be difficult to find parking even though there is a lot of spaces due to the fact that the shopping center is nearby. 2. Most of the time there is only one cashier but if he or she notices when there is a line forming they will usually call for backup. 3. Some clothings are expensive in my opinion if they are in fashion or new in stock. 4. When it comes to pants, sometimes i have to search and dig thru to find my size. I hope this helps! Damn, when I saw that this Old Navy had relocated in the same shopping center I was excited to see the upgraded building. To my surprise, this Old Navy unfortunately downgraded! The old 1 was not only 2 stories, but I think each floor was bigger as well. The only reason I come to Old Navy is for jeans and due to this downgrade in size, I did notice that the selection was more limited. I can't complain though, got my 3 pairs of jeans for $80 and was treated well by the employees. 1 more thing I have to get off my chest, get a new store CD immediately!!! Either me joining Weight Watchers and walking nearly every night is working OR Old Navy is making their clothes even bigger than before. In general their clothes tend to run large. I was surprised though today that clothes that once fit just don't fit anymore. I tried on a PILE of clothes and left with 2 pairs of jeans (such a great fit..i think i went to heaven), and two tanks tops. I must ask..what is the deal with the extra long everything? I'm a plus sized gal. I don't have the figure to wear a tank top to my knees. Also, why is there such a huge size difference between large and xl?? I'll just keep ranting. Usually the staff is pretty nice, but the shift supervisor is awful. She was screaming at people multiple times "next in line" even when someone was walking in front of them and they couldn't physically move. She got into an argument with a customer because the customer decided she didn't want everything she brought to the counter. While I was ringing up she started to talk poorly about other employees (gossiping with other cashiers) and barked orders across the store. She was incredibly rude and unfriendly to customers and her staff. I am an avid old navy shopper and I will never be back. read more

This is my second time leaving a review for this particular location. It's been a bit since the last time I came in so I decided to give them another shot. Yeah... No. Never again. I don't care how awesome the sale is. Nope. Nope. Nope. Almost everyone that works there is SO rude. I'll just talk about the one that really made me mad. They had a sign by their jewelry section that said "Buy one get one free on Bee-Line Jewelry." Now, I don't shop here often so I had no idea if this was the name of their jewelry line or if it's a special line (does that make sense?) Btw, I still don't know! Anywho, I went to stand in line with my items. The young woman called me to her register and says hello. I said, "Hello! Is this part of the jewelry that's buy one get one free?" As I asked a coworker of hers walked by and said something along the lines of "I'm going to take my break now, k?" Literally, right as I finished asking my question, he makes his statement. She says, "yeah." Me, "Yes they're part of the buy one get one?" No answer. "So are they?' Still nothing. "Hello?" Nothing. She wasn't even looking at me! Then she tells me my total, without looking at me, and then says, "Credit or debit?" Me, 'Um, cash." If I could translate the look she gave me into words it would be "Ew. Gross." She snatched the money out of my hand and when she handed me my change she acted like she didn't even want to get within a foot of my hand. It seems like in this recession everything looks, feels and is a little drab. Including Old Navy. Went in today and their shelves and racks were very scarce and the store looked really empty with a lot of walking room. I wanted to make an exchange and went to one of the front clerks (a man with bad mouth scum on the two edges of his lips, btw)...the customer service was not friendly and I would almost say rude. I walked around the entire store and was not greeted or acknowledged by any of the sales associates. When at the front waiting for my exchange to be done from the guy with the mouth scum...no words were said, handed me my receipt and said have a nice day. now this is the only location in the area since they closed down the bridgepointe one. so sad cause that was closer and cleaner! best old navy I've been to. this one is meh. a lot cleaner than the tanforan one. but that one is just disgusting. this location is next to trader joe and the counter. clothes groceries and burgers. well its across the street from the mall too. clothes are normally on racks and folded. appearance is good. employees are quick and nice. no complaints with service. sometimes you can get real good deals like 2 buck shirts and shorts. not that crowded so you can explore without being shoved around. men on the left women right and kids in the back. fitting rooms are clean without a lot of left over clothes from people. read more

This is the closest location for me to go to, so I'll go into detail. This location is pretty big with wide walking lanes and large shelves and racks. There's two floors with adults on the main and children on the top floor. Even with the room, the standard spacious floors with less stock than they should is present. The prices are pretty good and they seem to have clearance items longer because of the overstock. The reason I go here is as mentioned before the distance from home and the less crowded lines of the Hillsdale Mall. Same stock, same decent prices, and same spacious warehouse stores. read more

I like this location, they have plenty of clothes in-stock and it's very organized. The super deals were located right out front with signs clearly marking what's on sale. I found some cute $10 denim shorts in my size. Further back they had the swimsuits and active wear on sale. I found some yoga pants for $6. I liked their selection of active wear. The active wear here is really reasonable. No need to spend a ton of yoga or gym clothes, you can get the basics here really cheap. They had plenty of sizes and lots of different items on sale. The kids clothes are in the back and items were easy to find. This a hidden gem for me. The best part was no wait and no line when I went to check out. read more

Every time I come in the store the lines are very long. When I shop Old Navy I know I can get better quality for the same price, so I only shop the store if I am getting my daughter something, which she will grow out of quickly. But it is not a store to go in if time is an issue. Instead, we crossed the street and went to Macy's and bought something right away, for the same price, but for much better quality. This place is more interested in appearances than actually helping customers. The place was a mess in terms of stuff being mislabeled. They told me to not sit at a table after telling me their seating area by the dressing rooms were full. So with no option but to stand around with a tired and sleepy 4 year old we end up walking around aimlessly. There's garbage everywhere. I saw half empty soda bottles on shelves, candy wrappers on the floor, and dirty clothes mixed in with new ones. The fitting rooms were about as organized as a landfill for clothes. When my wife actually found something and we stood in line for 15 minutes, they rang up a t-shirt for $23 because it was in the sales bin. This is Old Navy not True Religion. We ended up walking out after wasting an hour. That's about all this place is good for...wasting your life while you stand there wondering why you came. read more

Hello, I am writing you in regards to a situation that happened in store today at an Old Navy store In San Mateo, CA by Hillsdale shopping center. I went in to the store in hopes of finding a cute top that I had seen online, long story short I was thrilled to have found it not only in the size that I wanted but it was supposedly 50% off as well. Their was a very, very clear sign in front of the tops that said 50% off so I was completely shocked when the top came out to full price when i was getting rung up. I very kindly asked the cashier if i would get the top for 50% off because she immediately stated that it was full price and not on sale. She seemed to very rudely ignore me and say that the top was full price. I felt so taken back by her tone and appalled by what happened next. I asked for the cashier to look at the area that the top was hung in so that they could see how im sure any customer would be confused and she looked over (their was like 6 people standing behind the registers doing nothing b/c their was no line) and she asks someone to go look at the price and make sure that the sign said 50% off, as if i was lying about the sign????? It was so ridiculous. At this point I've already been at the register for far too long, and people are starting to line up behind me making the situation quite uncomfortable. In the end the guy checks the sign their is clearly a 50% off sign their in front of tops and still refuses to give it to me for the price THEY SIGNED IT AT!!!! So unprofessional, rude and belittling. I do not understand how this store remains in business with this type of customer service. I never liked Old Navy prior to my visit to this store. Unlike my past experiences, this store is clean, organized and the employees are helpful and seem happy to be there. It is a pleasant atmosphere with fun displays and easy to navigate merchandising. DI had to return something and did not have the receipt. This is my favorite old navy! They have different clothes every week, which is good. They're clothes are very cute, and flattering for my figure. Most of my wardrobe is from this old navy. They always have my size in stock, and also small and medium (I am a large). The only disappointment is that the clearance rack is very disorganized, and the staff is not the happiest while working at the cashier. I've shopped at this location several times, and I've never had any trouble. I don't make a fuss about the long lines, I wait there patiently. Try to make my shopping quick and as painless as possible. I was at this old navy last month (05/21/17). I came up to one of he registers and the woman was nice, she greeted me, I greeted back. Everything was fine. She said my total and I was going to use my debit card when she asked if I had an old navy card. I do have an old navy credit card but I didn't have it with me and so I told her exactly that. She then asked if I wanted to upgrade my credit card to their new card and get more savings. Who doesn't like more savings right? So, I ask her if opening this new account would replace the one I currently had and she said it would. (Because who needs two old navy credit cards??). I agreed to replace my current one with this new one that was being offered. She gives me my receipt and a slip that has my new account number which I would be able to use until I got the physical card. A few days later I received a letter in the mail informing me I opened a new account with old navy and I should be receiving my card soon. One week goes by. Two weeks. Three weeks. I kept telling myself "I need to call old navy to see what's up with this situation." At this point I hadn't received my credit card. I hadn't received a statement for what I had bought that day since it was charged on this account I had opened. I checked my current old navy credit card statement online and everything was normal, there was no charges on it, and no indication that I had opened a new account to replace it. Today, I finally called the number on the receipt and spoke to a gentleman, explained my situation and he said that they had received the statement they had sent and also the credit card as well with RTS(return to sender) on it. So he asked if I could say my address and I did and he said he would correct my address. I asked what was wrong with the one before. He said there was no apartment number on it and the city and zip code was wrong. This baffled me because when I opened the account, the cashier asked to see my ID. I gave her my license which has my current address. It's printed on there, I didn't write it down for her, I didn't say it so there could have been no misunderstanding, she just had to literally copy it from my license. My other frustration was ... I had already received a letter saying I had opened an account with them, so if my address was wrong, how in the hell did I receive that letter in my mailbox? Anyway, I sorted it out with the guy on the phone, made a payment and he said my statement and credit card should arrive in a couple of days. My 1 star is me going through this frustration, and now having to wait for my NEW credit card so now I have 2 old navy credit cards which is ridiculous because I even asked if it would replace my old one I understand that they want to drive sales and having people open up credit cards is great for that, but come on, at least be educated in what you're offering people. Copy the information down correctly to avoid this kind of thing. I also know that I kept putting off calling and checking on what happened with my credit card and statement and what not, but this would have been annoying if it happened even a week or two after so, yeah. That's my story. I'll probably shop again at old navy, but whatever. 1 star. read more

I really don't know what has happened to old navy in the last few years but it is definitely heading into a bad place or maybe it is just this particular ON. EVERytime I go in there and I go in the early am because I do not want to deal with the later afternoon cluster mess. This store has nothing, ON on line has pretty cute stuff, the DNTN ON has amazing merchandise this one is just plain awful just plain awful. I do not remember pajamas pants, fake UGGs and waffle knit long sleeve T shirts has fashion. If this is the case then we are one sad as country. emergency!!!do not use the carts at this store. if you put your foot in the back of the cart to put it up on the curb it will trap your foot and you will fall down hard. just carry your packages and leave the cart in the store. i fell in the parking lot and when a bystander helped me into my car i asked for a manager at this store and the clerk said i would have to wait as they were in a meeting!!!! i am a grandmother of eight and had to spend my christmas in bed because of the faulty cart. just be careful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this happened december 23rd at 11:15 and had made my holiday one to forget through no fault of my own. read more
