I always feel welcomed here. I love the food and this is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in town.

    Mapo Tofu with Pork (SC)

You'd think that when you pay $16 for a tofu dish that it would come with rice. That is not the case. Mapo Tofu was extremely oily to eat without rice. I ordered pick up so I didn't notice till I got home. Just go to the Buffett...this is not better.

The Peking duck was delicious, and the staffs were helpful in how to order the Peking duck. My families from California enjoyed very much.

We ordered a variety of dishes to share, we all agreed the sweet and sour chicken was our favorite. The waitress was friendly and attentive.

I would eat here everyday! Food was out of this world Everything came out hot and fresh out the wok. Some of the most authentic and delicious Chinese I've ever had. Service staff was attentive and friendly. Waitress was knowledgeable about her menu and excited to help us. Decor, furniture, and landscaping made for an immersive experience. Would recommend to family and friends

A container the size of my hand.

Has Old Peking recently changed management? This has been our go-to for take out since we moved to the neighborhood 10 years ago. Tonight I ordered take out with delivery. The food use to come in large white styrofoam containers. The friend rice would practically fall out when the lid was opened, it was piled so high. Tonight it came in a container 1/2 the size and was oily. In fact all 4 things we ordered were dripping in oil. I have included a picture of the Mongolian beef. That's oil in the container. That doesn't include the oil that was on my plate. It was swimming in it. If you don't believe me about the container size look at the restaurants photos on the yelp page. It shows the food in the big white containers. Now look at the picture I added of my container tonight. I know times are tough. I know food prices have risen, but 1/2 the same amount of food and much lower quality, we sadly won't be back.

Good flavors however, lately I am having hard time finding chicken in their sweet and sour chicken. Disappointing! The fried rice is always good and their hot and sour soup is the best. Fast service. They bring the food to the table as it becomes ready so some people in your party might be eating while you are waiting on your food

Much improved from a fyears ago. I've been back a couple times in the last few weeks. We always get it to go but I believe the dining is remodeled and open for guests. Friendly staff. Ordered vegan specialties, Crispy spicy salty tofu and it was delicious, but the Crispy spicy sour tofu was even better. Fresh Yu Choi with Garlic. Big servings, reasonable prices. Skip the sesame balls they were not good. Husband enjoyed his veggie egg foo young and house chow fun. We had leftovers for the next day both times and we have big appetites! If the owners read this I suggest they vent the to go boxes to keep the crispness in the crispy. Next time I will take pics!

Fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced Old Peking is a Tucson tradition well deserving of your patronage. I love thier Egg Foo Young.

It took my friend and I forever to figure out what to order! We finally settled on the shrimp ceviche bowl to start - amazing and chock full of shrimp! It came with crackers and tostadas! I also got a fish and marlin taco - both were great and full of flavor. I really enjoyed the red spices on the marlin! I also enjoyed my side salad (although the dressing options could have been better) , the best side was the white rice with a few veggies thrown in - the flavor was so great, I could have eaten this all day! There's a seafood counter in the front too, where you can purchase seafood to go. Loved this place! I plan to be back in the very near future!!

YES, 2 sizes medium $8.31# and large $12.80ish# from Sea Cortez, MX. Also got clams $4.16# to make paella. Gal at counter was very patient and helpful answering questions on source of fish, shellfish for my paella, as more seafood was being put out @11AM. Whole Snapper $7-8# will wait for next trip! Note there is about a 3% upcharge for using a card vs cash ;) Outside is very visible with bright yellow exterior, a large paved parking lot you enter before the intersection. Inside is very clean, no fishy smell, and dining area and seafood counter with small shelf of sauces, snacks are on one side, separated by full bar with counter seats and TV as you enter from the parking lot. Checked the restaurant menu for offerings to return for future sit down meal, and asked what kind of fish was served whole $30 --it's Pargo|Snapper Yay! or more typically the Mojarra|Tilapia which I don't eat / inflammatory. Marlin Taco $5 and Skate $3 are also must trys as infrequently seen on other menus. Definitely a fan of the counter service, now for that paella, gotta get cookin'!

The seafood bag was the standout: we got shrimp (head off) with the "Atomic Sauce," a combination of cajun, lemon pepper, and garlic butter seasoning. It's super flavorful, and even though "Atomic" is in the name, it doesn't have to be spicy! You get to set your spice level when ordering. The one slight annoyance with the single-seafood bag is that the corn, potatoes, and andouille sausage were all add-ons with an upcharge -- to me, those are a standard part of a low country boil and should be included from the get-go. To be fair, they're included in the combos, though. I can't speak to the service, since we did takeout, but I'd certainly get a seafood boil from them again!

I may have never tasted anything more delicious. I took home more than enough for a fabulous lunch. The hub wasn't as thrilled. He's not that much of a seafood guy, enjoying ribs or steak previously, but he decided on the fish and chips for this outing. He's used to cod for battered fish and noted that hoki didn't hold together well, breaking into small pieces, some with breading and some without. The fish and the coating were under seasoned and bland. He wasn't happy with the fries, either. He expected regular fries as our server specified, but received shoestrings, some of which were overly crisp but the ones under the fish were soggy. He did praise the cole slaw. Although neither of us could finish our meal, we did order dessert. We shared the pecan caramel cheesecake and it was ridiculously delicious: smooth, tangy, and not too sweet. Just perfect. We managed to finish it and mentioned to the manager/owner? how good it was. He laughed and said no judging if we licked the plate. The ambiance of the dining room is elegance, almost vintage, and feels special. The restaurant was very busy, which I am thrilled to see, but quite noisy. We were so lucky to grab a parking space in the small front lot, because I have limited mobility. I would love a rail on either side of the small ramp because it is a little steep.

We had a booth seat which felt very intimate. My husband and I shared a bottle of non-alcoholic wine (side note: I love that they have a robust alcoholic and non-alcoholic menu). We tried the lab grown salmon crudo which was decent but not our favorite crudo. The texture was definitely different from real fish, but it was unique to try! I got the special which was a crab leg pasta with pesto and peppers. One of the best things I've had in Tucson. Can't wait to come back and try their oysters!
