This place is awesome! So quaint, the staff are incredibly friendly and the outdoor seating is excellent! We have visited two times now and love it. Also, the bathroom was so clean and spacious which is so appreciated by families!

This was one of the spots at the top of my list to try in Naples when visiting for the grape fest. I had heard that this was an iconic cafe with some cool history and great food. They had a different setup for the festival so I ordered at their order window and took the pastry to go. I got the grape poptart, which was delicious. They had music out front and a large open space where some people were hanging out. The entire town was very busy for the festival, but we were able to find parking near the cafe. This was a cool experience, but I'd love to visit again when the Naples grape festival isn't happening.

This charming spot was a real treat! I picked this place for my birthday breakfast and was not disappointed. The old school house is of course delightful and the inside is nicely decorated. They have inside and outdoor seating as well as a bar area. You order at the counter and then they bring the food out to you whenever it's ready. I ordered the sunshine French toast and it was superb. I've never had anything like it and enjoyed every bite. It was very delicious and filling. If you get the chance do yourself a favor and give this place a try!

We have been many times before. We love this spot so much. Such a cozy and inviting spot when you drive into Naples. Owners are very friendly, fast service. Not a ton of room in there, especially if you have a stroller.

I've stopped here a few times and it's always pleasant. This recent time I had a cappuccino and my friend got the smoked salmon breakfast. He said it was very good and the presentation was very pretty with fresh micro greens and fruit. This is a cute spot to order to-go or dine in. Local fresh ingredients. Will stop in again.

Adorable cafe. Really great decor and nice touches all around. Chai was a tad sweet (possibly made with concentrate) but nice variety of alcoholic and non alcoholic coffee drinks. The cinnamon roll and hand pie were very tasty. I'd return for sure.

Stopped in after kayaking this morning and glad we did! We each had the breakfast sandwich. The egg was cooked to perfection in the roll toasted nicely. The bacon was the star of the show with its candied sweetness. For drinks we have a bottled lemonade, coffee and chai. The drinks were tasty. My wife and daughter each had a trip to the restroom and reported that it was very nice. Clean and cute.

We stopped here on a pretty last minute decision when we determined the route by it was more efficient. What great fortune to have stumbled upon the Old School Cafe. First impressions - a cute breakfast / brunch place in a repurposed old school house. Great aura, great curb appeal, and the owner was very pleasant and eager to please, but what about the rest? Well the cover accurately reflected the book, as the coffee was good, and the food was great! I had the korean chicken and waffles (delicious!), and our table also had pretty rave reviews about the breakfast sandwich, cinnamon bun and grain bowl. Everyone present left full, happy, and eager to return. Some other comments and details - Very easy to find, plenty of parking (it's just past the parallel-parking areas on the street, giving it enough space for it's own parking lot. There's seating both inside and outside, and the menu is small, creative, adaptable and suitable for different tastes. There's also a full bar if you're feeling brunchy. I will unquestionably be back if in the area again, and certainly recommend it.

Great find-do not miss. Brunch a this small gem located in beautiful Naples, NY. Starting with a eye popping location surrounded by vineyards and hills covered with autumn leaves. Add its lake location you have a prime destination. Old school is a masterpiece both structurally and food wise. Hand crafted out of local hardwoods, the restaurant is a work of art. We ordered the egg sandwich (hardly an appropriate description for a handcrafted and spectacular meal). Finished by splitting home baked cinnamon buns. Go! read more

It's perfect. Small, quaint, well decorated, well designed (for how small it is). The food is fantastic, the people always seem friendly (and competent) and they have a full bar so mimosas are available which is a ++++for me. I notice they also do sweets also but each time I picked from the breakfast menu. Delicious! Been there 4 times with consistent experiences. The food is always excellent at old School. Today I broke a long-standing tradition for myself and ordered a Green Goddess Wrap. My long-standing tradition had been their Breakfast Sandwich, which is superior to I have eaten anywhere else. Surprise! The Mediterranean Wrap was every bit as good as the Breakfast Sandwich. Everyone I have taken there seems to enjoy their offerings as much as I do. If you're in Naples, do yourself a favor and stop at the Old School. Not only is the food superior, the job that they have done restoring the old-school house is well worth the trip by itself. The whole experience is first rate! read more

Stopped in here for breakfast while visiting a friend's cabin nearby. The breakfast sandwich was the best I've ever had in my life! We also met a nice gentleman while in line to order who insisted on buying us the Belgian waffle to try. It was delicious! Friendly staff and cool historic setting. Also a nice outdoor seating area if weather permits. Can't recommend enough! read more

The Old School Café is a hidden gem located in Naples, NY. We met the owners Joe and Trish - both are just lovely and we very kind to us. The Smoked Salmon Benedict and Breakfast Sandwich were both amazing! You can tell a lot of thought and preparation has gone into every detail. When I go to Naples, NY the first place I go is the Old School Cafe. I give them 5 stars and would give them more if I could. I have taken all our company and friends there as it is such a gem. The owners are such amazing people and have a real love for the area and their customers. I keep wanting to try something new on the great menu but I love their version of eggs Benedict so much that I get it every time. Next time I will try something new. Love everything about this Fingerlakes gem. read more

Nice gem in a small town. Ordered a latte with oat milk, Korean chicken waffles, and lamb burritos. All are great and very tasty. Coffee is prefect blend and in prefect temperature. Burritos is nicely wrapped and lamb tastes fresh. Owner said the lamb supplied from local butcher. Fried chicken pieces and sauce are good blend and still crispy. Definitely will go back and try couple other things. read more

Accidentally stumbled upon this new gem in Naples NY after overhearing someone the night before raving about the breakfast sandwich. They were right about the sandwich but we found so much more which delighted us. From the beautifully restored and appointed old schoolhouse (the bathroom is A+) to the friendly informative owners. The menu is small but packs a gastronomical punch with amazingly crafted selections. Baked goods selections were awesome also. We will definitely be back to try some of the other selections and the Bloody Mary! We loved the place! read more

Established in 2021.

Restored 150 year old schoolhouse! Purchased in the midst of the COVID pandemic, the project to rebuild and transform the old building into a coffeehouse, cafe and bar was undertake and opened in August 2021. Plans to add additional seating, both inside and outside, are in the works. Handicap ramp is built and access is available - please call (585)531-4153 so we can assist.

We stopped by yesterday to have lunch after a morning on the wine trail and we were so glad we did!…read moreBefore we talk about the food, just want to give a shout out to our waitress who was just phenomenal-- I wish I would have caught her name! She was so attentive and quick to help if we had questions. We tried the sampler, and others at the table had different brats. Everyone said their meals were great-- the sampler is more than enough for two people, and can certainly be a snack for a group of four. Each of the brats are seasoned so well, but my personal favorite was the andouille-- it was spicy and seasoned to perfection with a crunch when you bite into it. The bread that came with the sample was also great- really crispy and warm! We were also able to try each of the sauces, and the banana pepper mustard and beer mustard are delicious! So much so, we bought a jar of the banana pepper mustard to take home with us. There were plenty of seats inside and outside the restaurant. Definitely would love to come support this place again in the future!

My cousin chums and I stopped by here on Labor Day after our mini wine tour in need of sustenance aka real food (a quality all of the wineries we went to were severely lacking in). From what I could tell, this is sort of an extension of the Arbor Hill Winery - to access Brew & Brats, we actually ended up walking through what I assume was Arbor Hill's main gift shop/wine tasting area, which sold more in the line of quasi-bougie condiments than actual wine. We briefly considered doing a third winery tasting here but I just didn't like the vibe, so we continued on to the back of the premises where this restaurant/bar was. Perfectly pleasant in there; the main establishment seemed to be centered on a barn-like structure (it almost felt like it had a former life as a ye olde general store, then got cleaned out to be a bar), though we ended up sitting/eating right outside in a little pavilion area with picnic tables (great weather for it). I also used the facilities at one point, which were unique - also a bit barn-like and felt very...temporary storage unit but not in a bad way, if that makes sense. Everything was spacious and clean from my perspective. When in Rome, I think you get brats. There was understandably a Bavarian-themed tinge to this menu, but heavily Americanized. So sauerkraut was a pretty pervasive ingredient, but it also had a lot of mainstream salad and BBQ sides. Interesting for sure. I didn't want to complicate things after multiple wine tastings, so I opted to get the Arbor Hill Sherried Wine Sausage with a side of baked beans. Honestly not bad; the marinating of the sherried wine gave it a nice fruity/sweet tinge. I'm more of a hot dog connoisseur when it comes to my weenies and I'm not a fan of condiments; even if I were though, something this flavorful probably doesn't need to rely on them. And I can always get down with a toasted bun. The beans were just okay; too sweet for my palate. I was expecting something more savory given the bacon, but literally every other ingredient drowns it out. I'd remove the brown sugar - if the sauce is already sherried wine-flavored, you really don't need to double-down. The service was honestly a little strange/awkward. Our waitress was friendly enough and given what we were ordering, it would have been insane if the wait time was more than 10 minutes or so (and it wasn't). We were in and out of there relatively quickly, giving us plenty of time to test drive our Airbnb hot tub. But she was very flustered and agitated throughout our stay there, constantly apologizing for the chaos and wait times, which were nonexistent. Every time she came to our table, it was accompanied by a flurry of, "Sorry, it's just been CRAZY with all of these people," which, given that there were literally two other parties and tons of empty seats just wasn't accurate and made no sense. My assumption is that they had a crazy lunchtime rush or something that she was still processing and/or recovering from, but I really don't know. Regardless, it didn't really detract from the overall meal or anything. The prices were out-and-out fantastic. For a legit entree and sides, casual as they were, $15 or so was a legit deal. This whole Naples area was generally pretty affordable, to its credit. Not really my kind of food in the grand scheme of things, but it was fine for what it was. Hope our waitress got a good night's sleep at least.
