I was walking by and noticed the pink cake. I came inside and ordered it. So pretty and pleasant enough. However, the inside area where you can sit and especially the floor, were grubby and not clean looking at all.

This cafe was right by the hotel we stayed. Such a convenient location to grab some coffee and a pastry in the morning. They have pretty good selection of pastries to choose from. We tried the cheese or butter bread which was good. You will not get a local friendly service here. It's NYC :) It gets extremely busy with ppl who are in hurry or even have a morning meetings at this place. I liked how I got to see the busy street of morning NYC from the window.

This establishment was right across from our recent hotel stay in midtown NYC. Wonderful selection of sweet and savory pastries, sandwiches, fresh breads, and hot beverages. There are various locations throughout the city. I chose a poppy seed covered pastry with almond paste and a lemongrass hot tea. Both were excellent. However, service was quite slow and server not so friendly. Visited the next day with family and service was quick and friendly, and the coffee excellent. Prices on the higher end, but clean place with some delicious offerings to eat in or take out. Restroom for customers and a code on receipt is needed to punch in to enter.

Cinnamon Social latte w oat milk

I had a drink reward to use so I ended up getting the cinnamon social latte with oat milk. I did a pre-order ahead of time, but the drink was not made when I came in and I had to wait, which I feel like defeats the purpose of order ahead. The app always gives me issues here. I really don't prefer their pastries for whatever reason but the drink option was just all right. It was on the sweeter side, and the variety of selection was not much to it.

Hands down to one of the most delicious danish pastry spot in NYC. Lately I have been visiting Ole & Steen for a summer afternoon snack. Most definitely appreciate the welcoming, relaxing and charming environment. I loved the flower decoration on the tables and oh my they have so many seating! I'm such a big fan of danish pastry and matcha. Within my two visits so far I'd ordered their swirl chocolate and raspberry danish. Lawd a mercy, its sweetness and crunchiness was satisfying. The danish pastry size was filling and must wash it down with a strawberry matcha. Absolutely a great pair! Would recommend visiting for a morning or afternoon treat if you find yourself in NYC!

Pastries are good! The cinnamon social is yummy. Coffee was okay, pretty standard. It is a big location with lots of seating!

We were in the need of something sweet And a jolt of caffeine. Luckily this coffee shop was in short jaunt from our hotel. I had a coffee cold brew and a Chocolate donut type of dessert. We also ordered a matcha latte and another type pf pastry. People were friendly and they had the coffee ready quickly. If you're looking for a sweet treat and a coffee this place is perfect spot.

Simple, classic sandwiches made with quality ingredients and paired with delicious drinks featuring real pumpkin puree. The space is bright, roomy, and perfect for working on a laptop or catching up with friends. A great spot for a quick, satisfying bite that doesn't compromise on taste. Polite and courteous service.

    What's left of a raspberry spandauer - it's yummy

Once, years ago, Ole & Steen was brand new in Manhattan and we stopped by to share coffee and a pastry. And we bought their version of, I think, a loaf of rye to take home. As I recall, we were unimpressed. But today, so many years later, on our way home from Grand Central Terminal, we found something different! First of all, it's a large storefront and it was packed, almost every table full, with what appeared to be young (20s, 30s) professional people at 4 pm. Lots of chatter, lots of computers open. Couples and groups of assorted combinations huddled around the small but adequate tables. We ordered 2 decaf Americanos and shared a pastry called a raspberry spandauer, a small piece of which is pictured here. It was delicious! Perfect crust, puffy and flaky, dry and not the least bit soggy. In the center, maybe a tablespoon of raspberry jam with sliced almonds scattered on top. Very very good. The coffees are served in paper cups w plastic lids, but hot and good. They also have some small plates and sandwiches if you're there for breakfast or lunch. It'll be nice to go back and try some of those, or try another lovely pastry on another lovely mid-afternoon!

Found this place on a whim when I was walking around Manhattan!! It said this was where the "cinnamon social" started and I had no idea what that was so had to try it. Inside felt like a nice modern cafe and they had a bunch of sourdough stuff which I was happy to see!! The cinnamon social WOKE ME UP. It was so good. It made me think of the first time I had Cinnabon and how as an adult this is what I thought or wished Cinnabon would be like. Just cleaner, simpler, and more elegant. I also got Christian something bun, which was like a fancier multigrain sourdough and it was really good, too. I would LOVE to try their cardamom bun next time.

From the moment you walk in you can smell the absolutely lovely scent of bread and pastries. The staff is very helpful and welcoming. They great lunch specials with drink, sandwich and chips. Besides that they have a huge selection to choose from. The portions are nothing short of amazing. I am truly happy I found this spot. Pro Tip: they have a rewards app that if you download you can get instant points to redeem for various items. They also give you a birthday treat

Stopped in for a quick snack during my walk. Did the raspberry danish and strawberry rhubarb lemonade. Couldn't hear up my danish because they turned the oven off? Ok I guess. But other than that it was great! Danish was very flaky and not overly sweet, lemonade was nice and refreshing. Large space with lots of seating options.

Highly disappointed! I ordered an iced almond milk latte ($7) tasted so bland and watered down. The chocolate cake was also dry and hard, not worth it. I'll give it two stars because there's nice amount of seating, they have downstairs seating too! It's a nice place to relax, the ambiance is nice.

What is the seating area like? Is it ideal for a casual business coffee and snack?

The location I went to around lex Ave was huge and perfect for a meeting or even to set up your laptop and work. I'm sure it gets busy throughout the day but, it's a beautiful airy space.

Upon arrival we noticed the difference in crowds. Not as busy and packed sidewalks. Also it was a lot cleaner than Chinatown. Since we just ate at C-Town, it was time to find a good dessert place in K-Town. So we walked and we walked until I saw a banner sign showing shaved ice desserts. Then I noticed the name of the business is Grace Street. How fitting, because that is my wife's name. So we went in and what caught my eye was a mango shaved ice with mangoes, mochi, strawberries, and condensed milk, however I was over ruled by my wife and we went with the black sesame and mochi and condensed milk. It also had red bean, but that had to be on the side, since that gives me gout. Such nice staff taking orders and we went into the dining area to find a seat. What a large spacious area with many tables. Our order came out and it looked so good. The black sesame shaved ice or snow as it's also referred to as, was perfectly sweetened by the condensed milk and the chewy mochi. Definitely cleaned my pallet from our Chinese lunch and it helped cool me down from the New York heat. We got water, but there was no ice offered, so I asked one of the workers and he was kind enough to get me some. We are through that dessert like, if we didn't finish it fast, it was going to melt. We did not give it a chance to melt one bit. The staff here are efficient, as they saw we were done, they asked to clear our dessert bowl away. It was a nice experience even if it was just dessert. They definitely had more dessert options to offer, but i

The generous serving had creamy, silky layers and was easily enough for the two of us to share. Sweet, light, and refreshing. Plenty of seating, generous portions, and a stop here never disappoints! Located on 32nd St, between Broadway & 5th Ave Train: 34 St-Herald Sq (N/Q/R/W); also an easy walk from Penn Station. Overall, a great casual dessert stop after exploring K-Town, Midtown or nearby Chelsea.

And I commonly see the upstairs for private events like baby showers, bridal showers, or birthday parties on social media. After dinner with my friends, I was looking for dessert and I was glad to see this location closes relatively late on a weekday night at 11 pm. Upon walking in, I was greeted by a waiter who led us to one of the purple velvet chair booths that was perfect for two people and another waiter brought us a pitcher of water almost immediately. The menu is on a QR code already on the table and we were given ample of time to decide. My friend and I both already knew what we wanted to order. I got the purple Yam Souffle which takes 25 minutes to make and my friend got the fried squid tails. We also got a signature Rose Green Milk Tea to share. The waitress who took our order has great memory and recalled all of our items without writing it down. She also reminded me that I could adjust the ice and sugar levels of my drink which I had completely forgotten and would have got annoyed if my drink came out 100% sweetness. Another thing is that my drink order frequently comes out wrong at other locations so I was glad she got it right! Green tea instead of black tea and with milk instead of without milk. The purple Yam Souffle is just like the other locations. Hot, soft cakey texture balanced with an ice cold red bean Ice-Cream. So delicious! The squid tails on the other hand was not what we expected. It came out burnt and hard. The outer batter was not crispy either. We informed one of the waiters and he brought it back to inform the kitchen staff. We received a new batch that was not as burnt and had more flavoring this time around. However, the squid was still hard and not like the ones we get from other locations with smaller crispier pieces. Overall, it was still a good experience and I love the decorations at this location! This might be my second favorite location after the Flushing one. Would love to come back for brunch or hi-tea. Or regular food options when I have not already eaten dinner. My usual go-tos are the twister fries, Santa Fe chicken rolls, fried salted crispy chicken, and the trio dessert combo. However, this location has a lot more variety! FYI - there are two unisex restrooms in the rear for customers to use with really cute wallpapers too.
