    Tiramisu Latte and Burrata Focaccia
    Michael S.

The location is very convenient to grand central, the tiramisu coffee is fantastic as a dessert or a morning coffee. I recommend getting the large as the small is very expensive and the difference in price is not much. The food was good, my croissant was flaky but just a bit dry and the egg was a little overcooked but the avocado was fresh and saved the sandwich. The Burrata cheese sandwich was definitely the best choice for sandwiches as it was a large portion and very well balanced. It was however pricey at $16 for a breakfast sandwich, however I would recommend it! The lady at the counter didn't have much personality but they did the basics to take our order and announced it was ready for us to pickup from the counter. Pleasant atmosphere to enjoy some morning coffee

Cute little unassuming spot right across from Grand Central Station. I popped in while staying at the Hyatt and enjoyed the clean and calm ambiance. They have a few tables to sit at and an array of pastries and other food you can order along with a bunch of specialty drinks. I opted for the tiramisu latte which was quite delicious and had just the right amount of flavor and sweetness; not too overpowering. Good customer service and nice spot!

This is currently under a scaffolding and the door leads to a staircase going down so if you don't know about it, you might not even see it. I'm surprised this hasn't been reviewed yet. They have pastries, coffee/tea, sandwiches and antipasta, and pizza. This day, the pistachio latte caught my eye. However I didn't want the coffee. The employee was gracious to make me one without the coffee. The pistachio and steamed milk has a strong pistachio flavor. There are tables and chairs for you to enjoy your items. Have to come back to try the food items.

Woah! I never realized this coffee shop was so close to Grand Central. It's tucked away and easy to miss, but it's small, cozy, and has a nice vibe. The coffee is definitely on the pricier side, but my large iced caramel macchiato (with two shots of espresso) was really good. The woman at the counter was super friendly too. I'll definitely stop by again to try one of their pastries next time.

Prices for pastries are not listed so a spinach pastry is almost $8. Very small slice of matcha bread $5.5. Ridiculously expensive even if tasty.

Quick easy place for iced coffee, AC, 16 seats! Across from GCT between juice gen and Blue Bottle (which is where I was initially jetting to)

    Great breakfast and coffee!

The coffee was excellent and the food was amazing and quick. They had several gluten free options as well.

Finished the pistachio latte before I got a chance to take a pic

Finally decided to try this place after walking by it for years. I refused to try this in the past,…read morebecause I didn't like how many items they put on display. It felt like items weren't made with care and mass produced at a factory or something. I went 10 minutes before they closed and there was still 10+ of each dessert. I'm not convinced that they will dispose of them. Even if they do, it means they didn't do a good job in forecasting demand especially after being in business for multiple years. I ordered mango and yuzu. Both were too sweet and had one dimensional flavor and textures, not refreshing per their stated flavors. Even if their appearances take effort, they don't look pretty enough for me to forgive what goes in my mouth. I'm used to having patisseries with many layers and elements. Mango's sponge probably only took up 20% of the bottom, because I barely had bites of it. Most of my bites didn't have any. I didn't like how liquid the filling was. It didn't exactly ooze out but just melted into a puddle in my mouth. Yuzu looks pretty with the pink and yellow glaze, but it didn't go with the realistic fruit theme. I chose it for the flavor combination which is strawberry, yuzu, and guava. This was slightly better in terms of flavor variety in the mouth. The flower on top had a weird off putting flavor. The bottom crispy rice apparently is supposed to be chocolate but it came out plain. It was tasteless anyway, so not effective in terms of flavor or texture.

I had to run to work after an appointment so I ordered for takeout. The person taking my order was friendly. I opted for the Lumberjack and a black cold brew. I received the drink very quickly, with a short wait for the sandwich. While waiting, one member of the staff stocking up supplies on the side started chatting with me and then she offered to check up on my sandwich. She came out with it shortly thereafter. She was very friendly and helpful. The sandwich held up well during my 15-minute commute to the office. It is a really indulgent sandwich, with each bite revealing the sweetness and butteriness of the maple crueller, the saltiness of the thick cut bacon, and the savoriness of the cheese and the eggs as the yolks popped. I sipped the cold brew in between bites to cut the richness. It was a very satisfying meal. The Lumberjack is not something I would recommend you eat every day, but it's good as an occasional treat. In the past I've ordered lunch from Daily Provisions via delivery (the "Chefy" salad and the chicken milanese with arugula salad are my favorites), but I might start adding other breakfast sandwiches to the mix.

The peppery, thick bacon and the quite sweet, icing-topped cruller are a beautiful study in contrasts. The egg was nicely runny. I will say that's it's definitely not a good on-the-go sandwich, as it falls apart easily. However, I don't think this is a great spot for coffee. I was a bit underwhelmed by my latte, which tasted more like thin drip coffee than a rich, strong espresso. I also think they could offer more sweetener options.

The quality of the shot was excellent, smooth, bright, and really clean. The bar setup itself is super unique and very minimalist. They are running a really interesting under the counter espresso machine where the main bulk of the equipment is hidden away, leaving just these sleek, minimal group heads rising up from the counter. It was my first time seeing a machine of that style in person, and it looks incredibly sharp. I would absolutely come back here next time I'm in the area.
