The servers were all very friendly and accommodating- one even tried to fix our wobbly table for us. We chose to sit outside which was lovely with seating that had shaded options. The inside is also nice with extensive seating options as well. This place is a fan favorite when youre not sure exactly what you want to eat but know you want something tasty.

While the tacos still look incredible (especially the birria ones), the torta was surprisingly great as well. The sandwich is jam packed with ingredients and really well balanced. The beef was juicy and tender, and the veggies added a really nice balance of spice (jalapenos), freshness (onions, lettuce, and tomatoes), and richness (cheese and avocadoes). The refried beans were a pleasant surprise as well, adding really good moisture and flavor to the overall bite. And including avocado on the torta for no extra cost really is what put this above and beyond to a 5/5 - the avocado was ripe and had just the right amount of it to add that rich and fatty element without being too slippery and making it hard to eat. The fries, on the other hand, were a bit soggy and thick for my liking. I had seen another photo on Yelp where they looked a lot crispier and were shaped differently, so not sure if I just got unlucky, but the sandwich more than made up for the fries in this case. I really can't say enough positive things about the torta. And even though the torta was fantastic and I gave it a 5/5, I definitely want to come back for those tacos. Three tacos plus rice for $18 is a pretty great deal, and the tacos really look incredible. My partner ordered a tongue, al pastor, and fish taco and while I didn't try them, they looked and smelled incredible. We will definitely be back!

Hourly's interior is high ceilinged and airy and features the eclectic decor that characterizes eateries on the Square. The menu features a range of seafoods for which it is known - from raw bar staples to lobster. We started with a Paul Buisse Sauvignon Blanc from the Loire Valley and a Hendrick's Extra Dry Gibson up (Finally! A Gibson!) The wine was crisp and dry and a perfect accompaniment to the oysters we ordered. Hourly usually has up to 10 oysters on offer from New England and the Chesapeake. We ordered 2 each of the Paine's Creek, East Beach Blonde, Island Creek, Buttercup, and four of the Mookie Blues. Our favorites were the Buttercups and Mookie Blues. Both are from Maine and are larger with a textured brine and crisp finish. The main course was the Roasted Monkfish Almondine served with a cauliflower puree, raisins, caulilini, brown butter, and capers. The filet was meaty, flavorful and roasted to perfection. We also had the Striped Bass which was served on the bone with snow peas, zucchini, squash, and fava beans. Our server was prompt, attentive, and informative and we could not have been more pleased with the service. One of the genuine joys of dining at Harvard Square is you meet other wonderful, interesting people. The table on one side had two astronomers from MIT while the other had four high school principals from Houston. The conversation was engaging and delightful. Hourly has some strong choices for dessert but it sits next door to Mike's Pastry, a Harvard Square tradition, so we opted to indulge our sweet tooth there. We were presented with the menu, which was fairly comprehensive, and a stern warning not to waste food...at risk of PUNISHMENT. This was not an issue as my party did not believe in food waste. We collectively ordered a number of non-sushi bar items (like hibachi) and sushi and sashimi. I thought the quality of the sushi was solid. I've been to AYCE places where they go especially heavy on the rice and light on the fish. This was not the case here, fortunately. I enjoyed all of the sushi bar items I ordered. The hibachi steak was also tasty. The venue is well-decorated, although it's not the quietest when it's busy. Value was decent if you come with an appetite: around $37 as of June 2026 for a weekday dinner. My only hesitation is with the service itself. They didn't have a huge number of people working at the sushi bar or a huge number of waiters, so some of the items took a little while to come out. I think I'd be better calibrated the second time around to order more strategically. We also sometimes had to flag down the wait staff to order more items. Don't expect them to come to you. Sushi Kingdom is a positive addition to the neighborhood. I would return.

Given its location, the restaurant was surprisingly busy when we visited on a Tuesday night. We ended up waiting about 30 minutes for a table at a time when we assumed students had already left for the summer (alas, we were wrong). After being seated, we were handed menus and given a very "generous" 30 minutes to look them over, though not by choice. Limited staffing combined with the dinner rush meant that no one came by our table for another half hour. My friend and I sympathized with the staff, but the delays definitely added up over the course of the meal. In fact, by the time we had placed and finished our first round, a waiter came by to ask whether we wanted a second order, only to immediately let us know that the kitchen was closing. As for the food, we mainly ordered sashimi (because why fill up on rice?), along with a few appetizers: hibachi steak, teriyaki steak, fried calamari, fried tofu and gyoza, as well as several hand rolls. With the exception of the steak and sashimi, everything was strictly fine. The fried calamari tasted good but had uneven breading, with some of the coating falling right off. The fried tofu and gyoza were standard; not bad, but not particularly memorable either. The salmon, however, was excellent and on par with Nijiya: buttery, fresh, and satisfying. The steak was also tender and juicy. For some reason, Sushi Kingdom prepares the two steak dishes differently. The teriyaki steak had better flavor, but it was noticeably more well done than the hibachi cubed steak. Unfortunately, everything else was incredibly mid. As others have noted, many of the rolls are absolutely drenched in mayo. The worst offender, and one I'd strongly avoid, was the Tuna Lover Roll. The roll itself was bland, and the minced tuna in the center had a warm, almost sour taste. Suffice it to say, we did not finish it. We came to Sushi Kingdom hoping it might be a better, or at least comparable, alternative to Nijiya, but considering both the food quality and the wait times, I'd much rather travel a bit farther for a better meal. That said, this may change. One of the waiters mentioned that they've been seeing a significant uptick in customers since opening, so perhaps things will improve once operations become more streamlined, or once the initial hype dies down. Until then, I'd probably steer clear unless you're specifically a sashimi or steak fiend. In that case, by all means, eat away. This is definitely a place to go to even if you aren't vegetarian.. actually especially if you aren't so you can find out how good some vegetarian dishes can be. The only downside for me is that I don't live in Cambridge or near by, but there are plenty of cheap parking garages near the restaurant and my favorite Korean grocery store is there.

The portions are GIGANTIC so I would maybe order something smaller next time, but man that pasta was delicious. The "chicken" was perfectly fried, and the pasta was well seasoned. It's simple, but the blueberry flavor was elegantly on top, spread evenly, and not artificial tasting. Each bite was balanced with faint flakiness, blueberry sweetness, and even a soft base. Sticky Sticky Bun - very much like a cinnamon roll with extra caramel and sugar holding delicious pecans on top. While the bun itself was sweet, adding the sticky sauce on top was a sugar overload. Pecans were delicious, toasted with a new crunch and after taste. Baked French Toast - spongy with a dry after texture which I'm not too sure how to describe. Overall the toast is on the mushier side as if they soaked too long. Syrup was not needed for sweetness and we honestly barely added some. Maybe the syrup would help with the dryness but also conscious of getting diabetes with one meal.

Olecito sits directly across the street from the more upscale Ole Mexican restaurant and thus I'm going to assume it's sort of it's kid brother. This is fast-food mexican as we all know and love - burritos, tacos, quesadillas, yada yada. Inman Square has been crying out for a burrito place for a while now and I, as a resident of said neighborhood, am glad that this place has arrived. The shop front, at the moment, remains unencumbered with a sign (doubtlessly a reason for it's slow start). The inside of the shop is small but very clean and slick looking. The food is made just feet from where you are standing, so if they start putting something unwanted in you can yell. There are no seats or tables - this is a pretty standard take-out place - but there is a counter by the window for munching in the restaurant. I've had two grilled chicken burritos from here and have been pretty pleased by them. The size is pretty standard and the meat quality is perfectly acceptable. The burrito also comes with some tasty chips and a very nice salsa. The burritos come standard with guacamole and sour cream so no need to ask for extras. The price is pretty competitive compared to the other joints in Cambridge and Somerville. It's pretty clear that Olecita is just getting on it's feet (I've been the only patron in the restaurant both times I've gone) and, though it is by no means an outstanding take-out joint, it fulfills it's duty for a hungry soul craving beans and guac wrapped in a tortilla. Came here last night thanks to yelp. I was in the mood for tacos and am glad I ended up here to try something new. I ordered one of each of the Baja, Carnitas, and Arrachera tacos. The Baja and Arrachera were really good. The Carnitas was odd to me. I think the pineapple salsa just wasn't what I expected, I think I thought it was going to be sweeter. Ole is probably my favorite Mexican food in Boston, but it is very expensive by mexican food standards and it's a sit down restaurant. Olecito fills those voids, good prices for the same great food, Love the Carnitas and Rajas. The menu was done by hand on a chalk board and could be made to look better and more reader friendly. For one, there are actually no chicken tacos. Perhaps that would be too boring. Instead go for a Baja battered shrimp or Carnitas pork w/ pineapple salsa taco. These are both delicious and will you desiring more. The vegetarian or at least non-meat possibilities look pretty good and I cannot wait to try the other dishes. read more

I discovered this place a month ago, tucked away on a little street by 1369. I tell people about it and they're like "Where?" It's like five dollars for a burrito with everything. I appreciate that they have a large variety of protein options to choose from which I don't usually encounter in Mexican restaurants in the greater Boston area. On top of all this, service is fast! I almost always order lengua when I see it on the menu. The lengua here is tender and nicely seasoned. I wouldn't mind if it was just a tiny bit saltier, but the other torta fillings have enough flavor and seasoning of their own. I haven't been back in a while, but I am curious about their tacos. I hope they fixed the issue with the sewer smell.
