Ok, burger. Fries were cold. Don't think, I'll be back especially since it's out of the way.

Our app came quickly but the drinks and food came so slowly. Also between us asking for waters while we look at the cocktail menu was a lot of elapsed time. Food: the steak frites were very salty (and I love salt) but definitely the best meal ordered. The "Mac attack" tasted cheeseless -- literally tasted like water. The chicken Alfredo was "mid" but also a super tiny portion. Both pastas looked like kids meals. I guess they were priced appropriately at least. Not pictured was the Donny burger -- described as "eh it was fine". All left more to be desired. We really wanted to try the cinnamon cake but decided against since service was sooooo slow. The peach tea was bad. The oasis marg was okay. When we asked for wine, we were told "I don't know what we have let me show you" and were shown the screen that listed: white, red, rose, and sparkling. The wine should be listed on the menu with the beer and the cocktails. I'd maybe come again to sit at the bar and have a drink or two if there's live music, but otherwise, this is skippable for a full meal service.

My family really wanted to like this place because the other 2 locations are awesome but idk about this one. We waited over 5 min in an empty dining room to get just are drinks ordered then 5 min later a different waitress came to take our order only problem was we never got menus and our soda order was even wrong. This place has gotten food orders wrong drink orders wrong and then they never come by to check on u so u never have an opportunity to correct them. Maybe higher people that don't live around the lake because it just seams that they can't get anything right.

The fries were hot and crispy. They didn't ask how I wanted my burger cooked, which is the only let down. He had wicked grilled chicken sandwich and it was overall good. But not hot. And the chicken was pounded out really flat, which was the let down. Onion rings are really just extremely thin onions in a thick batter. Good crisp and flavor if that's the kind of onion ring you want. Menu was huge. Looking forward to going back and trying something else. Service was pretty good. Didn't catch her name though. I get annoyed that I don't have the opportunity to check that I was charged correctly. That being said, I was.

We stopped by on our way back from Shreveport expecting some standard diner food. Lucky for us, the food was way better than expected and much higher quality as well. My son and I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak, while my wife ordered the Chicken Fried Chicken due to the recommendation of our waitress. Unfortunately, they brought out three orders of Chicken Fried Steak. We didn't say anything and accepted the food as it was. The Chicken Fried Steak was humongous and packed with flavor. It was a tad on the salty side and the meat was a little tough. But for a restaurant in the middle of nowhere, it was still better than expected. All of the sides tasted great, including the Mac n cheese, baked potato, coleslaw, fries, and onion rings. I would recommend stopping by here to support them and avoid the fast food chains.

The Pharm is in downtown Buffalo. A lot of locals eat here. If you are a hunter, you are going to love this place. On the front wall is one of the most impressive collections of deer trophies I have ever seen. Lots of restaurants with hunters for owners or workers put deer heads up on the wall. Few have as an impressive a collection of top score trophies as you will see at the Pharm. The antler widths are absolutely positively enormous. I didn't think they made deer with antlers that big. * * * What goes for the antlers goes for the food. Pharm takes pride in its steaks. This seemed like a good reason to order a rib eye sandwich. That rib eye was about as wide at the biggest trophy on the wall. It extended half a foot out of my bun on one side and half a foot out of my bun on the other side. The bun was merely a handle for picking the sandwich up. The rib eye was thin but absolutely tender. It was not the $150 steak you would get at an oil magnate's private dining club. But for an everyday steak sandwich, it was just great. I was happy to have it. I was also happy to have the onion rings that went with it. * * * I would say the crowd was 100% local. I was the only highway passer-through. There were a lot of people taking a break from work for lunch. Many of these guys had the name of their company embroidered on their baseball cap. There were retirees in camouflage having lunch with friends. There was one young Christian couple having a long friendly conversation with a lady who was probably the manager. The manager was holding a hammer and waving her hammer over the place. My guess is that they were talking about some kind of repair or remodel job going on in the restaurant. But then who knows? Altogether, it seemed like a comfortable neighborhood hangout. * * * I suppose you "could" do well by eating at the Subway right at the highway junction. I recommend you do better by going into Buffalo itself.

My wife had called about the Schnitzel and if they were still serving it. They have it on the menu for Oktoberfest. She had mentioned that because of Hogan's Heroes and all the German food they talk about on the show, I had a craving for German cooking. They usually serve it on days I work. However, I was off this past Saturday so she had asked if they would contact her if they were going to serve Schnitzel this Saturday. They contacted her and that yes, they were going to have it on the menu. We were excited that we were going to sample some good German cuisine. We brought a couple of our friends with us. We were not disappointed. All four of us ordered the Schnitzel meal. The meal consisted of the Schnitzel (very tender pork cutlet that you can easily cut with a fork), warm German potato salad with a perfectly tangy taste, homemade spätzle and of course sauerkraut. We all loved it. The whole meal was scrumptious. Kimberly served us and was so helpful answering questions about how the Schnitzel meal was actually cooked. I sure hope they keep it on their menu full time. You of course can't go wrong with their burgers and the loaded potatoes as well.
