Not impressed. Unfortunately I think these dishes were just not good. Let me explain. Ordering the lambs chops, we're decent, tough meat and it was so expensive for just a couple tiny pieces? I don't think the seasoning either is anything great. Not happy with this meal. The beef skewers were also so tough. Extremely well done meat that was not appealing. The seasoning felt like tiny little wooden chips in my mouth, really don't know if this is how all Mediterranean food is but I for one did not enjoy this at all. The rice was plain plain plain with a side of boring. I'm not a fan of this rice for the lack of flavor and seasoning and it was very dry. The salad was alright. I don't think I enjoyed the dressing personally so I can't say much there but it was sour and tangy. Really bitter too made my lips pucker. Won't be getting that again. The inside seemed so cute, even the outside was adorable with the lattice and tables. Inside had an array of wines and spirits. Nice fitting music for the style of food, I liked the home look. The staff were very very sweet and friendly so no worries there! I just wish this place wasn't so expensive and also honestly maybe it's just not my flavor.

I have gotten carryout here a few times and dined in once. I mostly like to go check-out the wines selection since they seem to change what they are selling by the bottle ever so often. The staff has always been friendly and easy-going. The salmon is to drool for! That is always my item of choice. I have also had the appetizer platter. They also often have special items (other than what is on menu) to offer as well. Dining is semi self-service: you are given a number card to place on the table so that staff can bring your food. Drinks (other than alcohol), utensils, napkins, ect. you get yourself. This type of service was efficient and I liked that a server was not checking-in every few minutes. This is the perfect place to have a quick lunch or quiet dinner.

The lamb souvlaki was lacking flavor, no seasoning at all! .Got a wrap and it was barely filled. My wife got the spanakopita and she said it was mostly opinions and cheese, a tiny bit of spinach and greasy. I will never return, very disappointing.

Ordered the chicken Shawarma and falafel OMG so good, this place is fantastic. I will definitely be a return customer when I am back in the area . The service is fantastic and the dining area is very clean .

tldr; Clean, $15-25 a person, informal, friendly, authentic, healthy "Holy shi--" is the best way to describe the fresh pastries. I stopped by here with a party of three adults, three kids and a puppy, who we could seat outside. I've been going to pharaohs and Fayetteville for my Mediterranean fix, but this place is going to be our usual spot now. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable of their food, and take a pride in their restaurant that is warranted based on what I ate. Upon learning that the owner (?) is Palestinian, I couldn't help but support his business and he was quick to recommend these pastries. The orange one is what made me go holy shi-, has been made beforehand. All of the food came out after 5 to 10 minutes and was prepared exceptionally. I've eaten at one or two Michelin restaurants, as well as talk of the town places, and while this is not necessarily a Michelin restaurant just yet the food is authentic, prepared well, in a seasoned in a way that is balanced and flavorful that you would find at a Michelin restaurant. Moreover, what really stood out to me was the fact that this place reiterate the concept of Mediterranean, and that it's healthy, not overly oily, and not overly fried, which we all can appreciate. The price is fair, not on the side of overly expensive, or overly cheap, and the portion size is mindful to get you full in the japanese Hara Hachi Bu, where you eat until you are 80% full, which you can top off with some desserts if you choose to indulge. I absolutely recommend this place over its competitors, and I recommend turning in from Skibo Road, as other reviews might mention the narrow passage way in the back. If you're not convinced, check out the pictures, you'll find a plentiful, yet not overpowering amount of sumac seasoning. Best of luck to the owner and I'm definitely gonna come back here. Be sure to check out what else they might have available as there were a lot of merchandise and goodies that I didn't get the chances to take a close look at or they were not obvious. Remember to ask about the specials, which will not be on the menu but are definitely worth it!

Unfortunately inflation has heavily impacted this business! While the people working have always been exceptionally kind the portion sizes make this place a rip off. My boyfriend and I stopped in to have lunch and he order the pasta bowl, the portion was smaller than a kids portion. The small cup used at most places as a soup or side item cup was the amount given and it was $15!!! I ordered a spicy chicken gyro and the wrap had two small bite sized pieces of chicken in it. Not even one whole chicken tender worth of chicken and my wrap was $12. It's completely unacceptable to keep the prices so high and cut back on your portions to this degree. This isn't my first poor experience here either, it's my second time visiting and both experiences were quite disappointing so I won't be returning.

5 stars! I went there with my mom, my Goddaughter and her younger brother. They were patient with us ordering for ourselves and kids. I got the cornish hen special. The kids got Pizza. My mom got the lemon chicken. Everything was delicious. My cornish hen stuffed with rice was well seasoned. The kids requested another kids pizza to split. All in all... I would definitely go back

We grabbed take out gyros, lamb chops, a Greek salad, and some falafel from Olea and was so pleased with the experience. Placing the order by phone was quick and seamless and the time they quoted for the food to be ready was accurate. They got all of our requested customizations right and everything was well seasoned and tasted freshly made, right off the grill. I liked the tzatziki sauce and the pita bread had a great balance of being crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I also stopped in the bathroom and it was super clean. The toilet paper and soap were all well stocked. I would grab takeout from Olea again, next time I'm in the neighborhood. read more

Went in to eat at this restaurant and was told by a staff member to move not once, but twice from a table that my friend and I were seated. They stated that the table was for "larger crowds" and asked us to move to a booth. The entire time we were there, no one came in, so therefore we could have stayed at that table. The food made me sick. The staff were rude from moment of ordering food to the moment the food was brought to the table. I will not return. read more

Looking for real, traditional Mediterranean food? You found it in Fayetteville, NC. The flavors were unbelievable. Everything was so fresh. I recommend the appetizer sampler plate to start - where you can pick any four Mezze and Appetizers. You can't go wrong with any of the platters but I love the Chicken Shawarma with it's perfectly seasoned chicken wrapped with tomatoes, onions, cucumber and tzatziki sauce. The lemon chicken and lamb gyro are amazing as well. Not only would I say this is the best Middle Eastern Food in Fayetteville - this is in my top 10 restaurant list while visiting Fayetteville. Totally amazing middle-eastern food. It's delicious, friendly and the prices are great. Dig in the menu and start ordering. Don't be afraid to explore because everything has that homemade feel to it and you'll enjoy it as much as I did. read more

Olea is located close to home for me, as well as where I was checking out a new gym. I wanted something fresh and on the lighter side and talked Husband into stopping in. You order at a counter, and I will say the menu is pretty far away and small above the heads of the staff member assisting you. Thankfully he answered questions we had. I ordered the tabouleh salad, the hummus (which comes with pita bread) and a gyro platter, choosing the village salad for the side. Husband opted for the lemon chicken that comes with rice and potatoes, and substituted fries for his salad. We grabbed bottled drinks from the cooler case and plasticware from the counter and went to find seats. The chairs at the tables were pretty uncomfortable so we opted for a booth. Food came out quickly and it was really delicious. I was happily mixing things together to pile onto the still warm pita bread. Both of the meats were juicy and seasoned well,and all the sides were great quality. I was eyeing the chicken shawarma..so I will have to head back again! read more

Great spot!! Awesome variety w/ a great flair! Definitely check this place out if you're in the area and looking for something filing but yet on the lighter side! They have a gluten free option as well for most items if not all which is good for those with celiac or other immune/digestive issues. Don't be afraid to go in there and speak specifics, they're very good at listening and making sure you get what you would like... They use fresh ingredients and w/ that comes the Mediterranean taste and flavor!! Olea is a favorite of mine. The food is always fresh, the service is great and the restaurant is always very clean. I would recommend anything on the menu but I really like the beef souvlaki. They have a small beer selection with one outstanding Czech offering that i can never remember the name of and an adequate wine selection. If you are in the mood for Mediterranean you can't go wrong at Olea. read more

They are over priced in my opinion. They have Mediterranean food, gyros, souvlaki, etc. Lunch specials at $9 souvlaki which includes 3 chuncks of meat, rice and a Greek salad. The tahini is great, the flash fried cauliflower is awesome. The greek salad is nice with tomatoes,olives and feta The chicken has a great seasoning and the beef is very tender. The lamb was overcooked. This is an order at the counter and seat yourself restaurant. You are on your own to get your flatware, water refills and take gone boxes. read more

2nd time there... This time with the wife.. ordered the lamb gyro plater the wife Chx Shwarma ? ( excuse the spelling if it's wrong) last time was take out this time I dined in.. Very cool atmosphere.. music was authentic.. this place filled up quick after 5-6 pm... You bus your own tables but the food was great read more

This restaurant offers a wonderful dining experience with traditional food that truly delivers on flavor. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The atmosphere was comfortable and inviting, providing a great place to enjoy a meal. Everything was clean and well-maintained, which added to the overall positive experience. I ordered a gyro, and it was absolutely delicious--well-seasoned, fresh, and perfectly prepared. If you're looking for a great place to enjoy traditional cuisine with excellent service, this is definitely a spot worth visiting! read more

This relatively new restaurant is a great addition to the Fayettevile area. Eating here I felt like I rediscovered Mediterranean cuisine and I enjoyed every moment. It's a casual set up designed for meet ups with family/friends in a relaxing environment. I would recommend anything on the menu and you will not be dissatisfied. Their Greek salad will grab your taste buds and carry you all the way through your entrée. One thing that also loved were their perfect portion sizes. Just enough that you can finish your plate and feel perfectly content and not like you've overeaten. read more

This place used to be amazing, but lately, it has been a disappointment. I'm not sure if they've hired a new cook or changed their recipes, but many of the menu items lack the seasoning and flavor they once had. The salmon and soups were always my favorites and my go-to choices, but even those have been lackluster for some time now. It's frustrating to see a place that was once so dependable lose its charm. I really hope they make improvements soon and bring back the quality they were known for. read more

Authentic Mediterranean food for sure! I love that it is a very nice restarant with lovely atmosphere and Middle East music yet you view the food in counter at entrance for you to pick. Normally these restaurants are much more small and casual in a strip mall. Here, they serve your food at the table with such nice customer service after you pay and pick your selection. It is one of my favorites to go in Fayetteville now! Totally recommend it read more

Incredible food, great atmosphere, and great staff! We have travelled the Mediterranean region and this food was spot on. I was too full to finish my meal, but finished anyway because it was TOO GOOD to waste! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, they even let me sample something I was unsure of prior to ordering. Awesome Mediterranean atmosphere - we felt like we were really there again. My very 1st time eating at a Mediterranean style restaurant.. the was outstanding I was allowed to sample lamb meat. I do like it! I ordered a hummus plate with chicken and lamb served with warm pita bread.. it was delicious! So sad that I will not be visiting for a very long time I am from California and I promise next time I'm in town I will be visiting AGAIN! read more

This wasn't worth it they give you too little for how much you pay I ended up paying $17 just for a small fattoush salad and Falafel with hummus with very small falafels. Do yourself a favor and get a better value for your money and go to Zoe's Kitchen down the street. They will charge you extra for tahini with falafels that are already $6. read more

Olea is absolutely my favorite place to eat in Fayetteville! It is my go to lunch spot. They know what I want as soon as I walk in the door. The staff is always friendly. The restaurant is always clean, and the food is always fresh. My favorite is the Gyro Plattor and the tabbouleh with the iced tea. read more

I really like the food here, yet everytime I eat here it's like the waitresses are always rude and stereotypical. I dont know if its the color of my skin or my appearance but, but it's very much unappreciated and very noticeable. I promise I'll never eat there again!!!!! read more
