We had an amazing night at Olea. It was well deserving of 5-stars. Nestled inside the Shore Club which is a banquet/event space, Olea service starts at the door with complimentary valet which is optional. A red carpet welcomes you into the large waiting/bar area. Once you enter the actual restaurant, there are 2 dining areas. The first is more intimate. A smaller space with a fireplace and leather benches line the room. The larger space where we were seated was also very nice, but a bit louder. The dark accents with all of the greenery was a great touch. When you come to Olea, think "Steakhouse". Entrees are ordered separately from sides and all portions are large and filling. Cocktails were very good. They start you off with bread and mixed olives. All of the food was delicious! I'm not a fan of oysters, but others at the table raved about them. We had Lobster Mac, Scallops (6), Brussel Sprouts & Halibut. We had no room for dessert because again, the portions were large. It's a high end restaurant, pricey, but the quality is there. Service was excellent from everyone. Valet, hostesses, all wait staff. Olea is great for large parties, special occasions or just a night out. We surely will return.

For starters, the ambiance is EVERYTHING. I love a good aesthetic restaurant and this just checks all of the boxes. The entrance, the lobby, the dining room are all just beautiful. Even the tables and chairs are unique to what I see at other restaurants. The food itself is so delicious. The free bread you get in the beginning with olive oil is SO GOOD and I can't explain why. Maybe the added Parmesan on top completes it? I don't know but I find myself wanting more. My friend and I shared an appetizer and it was so good and cooked to perfection. We both got pasta for our mains and then the dessert knocked it out of the park. I highly recommend trying the churro cruller. The service was great, I love when servers check on me just enough times to where I need them and they're not actually annoying me. Very well timed. Very kind people.

Last night we went back to Ola for dinner, and it was another amazing experience! Peter, our waiter, was excellent, and Marshall, his assistant, was just as attentive. The pace of the meal was perfect--we never felt rushed. We enjoyed cocktails, delicious appetizers, an incredible dinner, and everything was cooked to perfection. To top it all off, they surprised me with a candle in my birthday dessert, which was such a thoughtful touch. The music created the perfect atmosphere, and the crowd was a great mix of ages, making for a fun, lively vibe. A huge thank you to everyone at Olea for all the wonderful birthday perks and for making the evening so special. We truly appreciated it! If you're looking for a beautiful spot for a special occasion, or just a great night out with amazing food, drinks, and a fantastic atmosphere, I highly recommend Olea in Spring Lake Heights. Enjoy dinner, then stay for cocktails at the bar and soak in the vibe. We'll definitely be back

Great new spot. Sat in the lounge, which is more intimate and has the full dining menu. Large waiting area with a bar before entering the lounge. Trendy ambiance, loungey vibe. Cocktails are on point. Particularly liked the Young Urban Professional and the Crimson and Clover. For food we enjoyed the crab cake rangoon and the squid ink tonnarelli. The crab cake rangoon was a unique twist on a traditional crab rangoon, nice flavors. Side dishes are substantial. We had the squash side as an appetizer, it's enough to share. Definitely plan to come back and try a few other things on the menu and maybe make it to dessert next time. Food tips: crab cake rangoon. Squid ink tonnarelli Drink tips: Young Urban Professional. Crimson and Clover

Newer spot in the Sea Girt / Spring Lake area located in the previous catering / banquet hall. Similar restaurant to Butchers Block Great interior re-design inside, hostess and service was great. Highly recommend the bread, fish, crab Rangoon, Caesar and sides. Everything else was still great and we ordered a lot so was happily full.

Beautiful, upscale atmosphere. Lots of trees and cozy decor with a Mediterranean touch. Menu was more American/Italian style overall. High prices but large plates for sharing. Loved the bread service with melted butter inside and the freshest olives sprinkled with parsley and olive oil to dip. Excellent Caesar salad, nice touch with the fried capers. Crudo was prepared almost like a ceviche--very fresh and thinly sliced raw tuna. Crab Rangoon came with 4, a bit fishy in flavor, but filled well. Spicy rigatoni sauce was excellent; the pasta was cooked just right. Nice kick to it, but not overbearing. Steak was tender and cooked perfectly. Recommend the crispy potatoes (fried in duck fat) and Brussel sprouts (charred and drizzled with hot honey, so yummy). Can't speak for the other sides. Olive oil cake was extremely light and delightful with an orange twist and berry compote. Chocolate cake came more like mousse in a martini glass, pretty good. Was not blown away by any cocktails per-se, but inventive selections. Service was very friendly but very slow. They don't leave water for the table and provide the tiniest cups so I was constantly flagging down for refills. Hopefully they get the hang of things... best of luck!

Wow. From the greeting to getting our check, an exceptional experience. The restaurant itself is beautiful. It's a perfect mix of elegant and trendy. Our server Akeel made excellent recommendations and was beyond attentive. We enjoyed "The Board", which was a helping of several things on the menu. Everything was amazing. Everything. We all had signature cocktails and loved them too. Will definitely be back!

What a perfect place to celebrate our anniversary! From the moment we walked into Olea, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality. The atmosphere is romantic, elegant, and just the right amount of sexy~ perfect for a special evening. Our waiter,Akeel, greeted us with a warm smile and was attentive, knowledgeable, and personable throughout the entire meal. Waiting for us at the table was a sweet anniversary card, and every staff member who passed by took a moment to wish us a happy anniversary. Those thoughtful touches made the evening feel so special. The manager even came over to introduce himself and surprised us with a complementary champagne~ a beautiful gesture that set the tone for the night. We started with the chilled shrimp cocktail, which was incredibly fresh, light, and perfectly chilled. My husband enjoyed the 24 ounce prime bone in ribeye with whipped potatoes on the side, cooked to absolute perfection. I chose the spicy rig, and it was every bit as delicious as I'd hoped after reading the menu. One of the highlights of the evening came when I noticed the pastry chef's name on the menu~ McKenzie Kleinkauf. She went to school with my son, so I asked Akeel if she happened to be there. A few moments later, she came out with the biggest smile, it was so wonderful to see her thriving and doing what she loves. It made our celebration even more meaningful. For dessert, we couldn't choose just one, so we shared the churro crullers and the blueberry cheesecake bread pudding. Both were absolutely incredible, and McKenzie added the sweetest, finishing touch by decorating our dessert with two hearts for our anniversary. The entire evening was memorable from beginning to end. Outstanding food, exceptional service, and heartfelt hospitality, made our first visit to Olea one will never forget. Thank you to everyone who made our anniversary so special. We can't wait to come back.

From the moment we walked into Olea, we knew we were in for something special! The atmosphere is upscale elegant with a warm welcoming feel, that's both sophisticated and inviting. Every detail, from the beautiful décor to the attentive service, made us feel special. The meal was exceptional from start to finish. The chefs' commitment to quality was evident in every beautifully presented dish. From the appetizers to dessert, every bite exceeded our expectations. The fresh bread with sliced olives served dripping with rich olive oil and cheese was absolutely irresistible and the perfect way to begin the evening. The steak was cooked to perfection--rich, tender, and incredibly flavorful--and the delicious lobster tail made the perfect accompaniment. The flavorful spaghetti and clam sauce was incredible--with toasted breadcrumbs and packed with flavor in every bite. The pork was incredibly tender--so juicy and succulent. We also loved the broccoli rabe, it was best we ever had. The caesar salad was crisp, fresh, and perfectly dressed. And don't skip dessert! Everything was delicious, including a standout tiramisu sundae that was rich, creamy, and the perfect finish to the meal, along with the churros--crispy on the outside, light and fluffy on the inside. The service was equally impressive and Gavin, our server ensured that our dining experience was seamless from start to finish. What truly made the evening unforgettable was the outstanding attention from Evan, Peter and Alyssa who went above and beyond to make sure our night was fabulous. They were warm and attentive, and checked on us throughout the evening to make everything was perfect. Their hospitality made an already incredible dining experience even more memorable. Olea is more than just a restaurant--it's a dining experience. Between the phenomenal food, exceptional service, and beautiful and welcoming atmosphere, it's easy to see why so many people love it. We can't wait to return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable restaurant experience!

Beautiful New Addition to Spring Lake Olea is one of the newest restaurants to open in Spring Lake Heights, NJ located inside The Shore Club Hotel, and it's definitely a welcome addition to the area. The space alone is worth talking about -- the dining room is stunning, with soaring 15-foot olive trees that instantly set the tone for an elevated but still comfortable dinner. It's a great spot for celebrations, date nights, or anyone who loves a beautifully designed atmosphere. There are three distinct areas: the dining room, the more intimate lounge, and the bar, which has a vibrant energy and really solid cocktails. I love that all rooms are open until 2 AM, with the last dinner seating at 10:30 PM -- rare for this area and perfect if you like a later night out. The menu features Chef Bud Carter's signature steak, seafood, and pasta dishes, plus rotating weekly specials. Everything we tried was genuinely very good and well-executed. Highlights for me were the seafood dishes and the pasta -- flavorful, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared. A heads-up: reservations only release one month out and they go quickly, so book early if you have a specific date in mind. They do hold limited walk-in and bar seating, which is nice if you're feeling spontaneous. Overall, Olea is a gorgeous space with good food, a solid vibe, and a team clearly putting care into the experience. Definitely worth trying, and I'm excited to go back and explore more of the menu. We decided to come back again last night, and once again, the food was wonderful. The veal parmesan was amazing. Unfortunately, the service was lacking. We arrived at 7:25 for a 7:30 reservation but weren't seated until around 7:50. We then didn't receive our drinks until about 8:20, and our food didn't come out until around 9:00. We chose to sit in the enclosed veranda at the front of the restaurant; Amelia's is located on Ocean Ave. and has some beautiful views! We started with a few cocktails - my partner got the Lavender Martini, which she said was very good. I got the Pineapple Margarita, which was excellent! I saw meatballs on the menu - I always order meatballs when having Italian cuisine (Amelia's represents itself as '...a blend of old school Italian and contemporary continental cuisine..'. They were some of the best meatballs I've ever had. Amelia's blends pork, veal and beef for its meatballs - they're tender and seasoned perfectly! The marinara was excellent and there was a dollop of ricotta to stir into the sauce. It was an epic appetizer! For our entrees, I ordered Wild Caught Shrimp Oreganata with mixed vegetables and garlic mashed potatoes. The shrimp were butterflied and quickly grilled - they had a plump, tender interior with a grilled exterior, in a delicious sauce. The potatoes were very good, and while I'm not a big fan of the mixed vegetables, they were good. My partner ordered one of the specials - the Lobster Capelinni. - 6 oz. of lobster on top of angel hair pasta with a delicious tomato-brandy sauce! We couldn't believe how much lobster was on the pasta - it was tender and very tasty! After 2 excellent entrees, we decided to try the desserts. Unfortunately, that was a mistake. I ordered the Carrot Cake (one of my favorite desserts) and my partner ordered the Chocolate Cake, one of her favorite desserts! My 'carrot cake' wasn't a cake but a conglomeration of icing and thick layers of 'fudge-like' cake. Visions of a fluffy, rich cake with freshly grated carrots and 'warm spices' flew out the window! My partners chocolate cake was dry and not moist at all - I've had Duncan Hines chocolate cakes that tasted better!! While the desserts were a big disappointment, the meal was excellent and we will return to Amelia's on our next visit to Spring Lake.

Simple, but good quality food well executed and served at a reasonable price. I had broiled fluke (I wish more restaurants served this instead of the ubiquitous Bronzino - which is a cheap farmed fish from Turkey) - a healthy serving of very fresh fish cooked deftly- cooked through, but not dried out. Broccoli came with it and I also ordered a side of sautéed spinach - both were delicious as well. The entrée came with a small salad, which was undistinguished. I saw many ribeyes coming out of the kitchen, they looked great. Thick and perfectly cooked medium rare. I'm going to have one of those the next time. The tomato and mozzarella appetizer was not great - middle of summer in New Jersey and the tomatoes were barely better than the hot house ones you get in February. We started with the bread, a focaccia, which was served with an olive oil that had a large roasted garlic in it. It was a delicious starter, and complimented our Caesar salad. The Caesar salad was 'different' - aren't they all? I've been experiencing very different types - the one tonight had a subtle dressing - with a subdued sweetness. The grated Parmesan and Breadcrumbs smothered the salad - when you see the picture, you'll understand. It was a good salad, however I would have preferred less grating and more dressing. Next up, the Waygu Meatballs, in a delicious San Marzano tomato sauce. The meatballs were excellent. I was mystified by the accompanying 'jar' of 'basil' ricotta. See attached picture-it's a large amount of ricotta - I tasted it - it was very creamy but the basil was faintly noticeable. I added a little to a meatball and it didn't enhance the 'bite' at all. I was embarrassed leaving this large jar of cheese. We shared the two entrees - the first, Sea Bass on a bed of mashed potatoes was cooked perfectly and had the most delicate taste. It was 'too delicate', if there is such a thing as- for they say, ' good fish, doesn't taste like fish '. However, the fish needed seasoning or sauce - one or the other, or both. The next entree was the mushroom house made ravioli - a tender pasta with a mushroom filling covered in a creamy, earthy mushroom sauce. We also ordered a side of sautéed wild mushrooms and added those to the ravioli - it was a wonderful dish.

We had a delicious dinner at Blend last night. Everything was fresh and plentiful. The grilled…read moreclams were tender and accompanied by a delicious lemony sauce that was perfect for dipping the focaccia bread into. We also got the ricotta and tomato sauce to have with the bread and it was perfect. The fried rice ball were yummy with a nice crisp. The ribeye steak was very good - not steak house good, but tasty. Disco fries were enough to feed an army and the gravy was absolutely delicious. The sautéed spinach - fresh and seasoned perfectly. The stuffed branzino (a Special) was fresh and citrusy. I never get stuffed fish because it's always full of breading and crab which I don't prefer. This was stuffed with summer squash and fennel julienned into a spaghetti as well as orange slices. The flavor was so fresh and enjoyable. The potatoes that came on the side and the lemon caper sauce rounded it out nicely. We packed half our food to go to save room for dessert. Espresso perfectly poured, gelato sundae, mini jelly donuts (to die for!) Chef Lou stopped by to ask how we were enjoying our dinner (very much!) and our waitress Anna was so fun to chat with and provided great service.
