We had an amazing night at Olea. It was well deserving of 5-stars. Nestled inside the Shore Club which is a banquet/event space, Olea service starts at the door with complimentary valet which is optional. A red carpet welcomes you into the large waiting/bar area. Once you enter the actual restaurant, there are 2 dining areas. The first is more intimate. A smaller space with a fireplace and leather benches line the room. The larger space where we were seated was also very nice, but a bit louder. The dark accents with all of the greenery was a great touch. When you come to Olea, think "Steakhouse". Entrees are ordered separately from sides and all portions are large and filling. Cocktails were very good. They start you off with bread and mixed olives. All of the food was delicious! I'm not a fan of oysters, but others at the table raved about them. We had Lobster Mac, Scallops (6), Brussel Sprouts & Halibut. We had no room for dessert because again, the portions were large. It's a high end restaurant, pricey, but the quality is there. Service was excellent from everyone. Valet, hostesses, all wait staff. Olea is great for large parties, special occasions or just a night out. We surely will return.

For starters, the ambiance is EVERYTHING. I love a good aesthetic restaurant and this just checks all of the boxes. The entrance, the lobby, the dining room are all just beautiful. Even the tables and chairs are unique to what I see at other restaurants. The food itself is so delicious. The free bread you get in the beginning with olive oil is SO GOOD and I can't explain why. Maybe the added Parmesan on top completes it? I don't know but I find myself wanting more. My friend and I shared an appetizer and it was so good and cooked to perfection. We both got pasta for our mains and then the dessert knocked it out of the park. I highly recommend trying the churro cruller. The service was great, I love when servers check on me just enough times to where I need them and they're not actually annoying me. Very well timed. Very kind people.

Newer spot in the Sea Girt / Spring Lake area located in the previous catering / banquet hall. Similar restaurant to Butchers Block Great interior re-design inside, hostess and service was great. Highly recommend the bread, fish, crab Rangoon, Caesar and sides. Everything else was still great and we ordered a lot so was happily full.

Wow. From the greeting to getting our check, an exceptional experience. The restaurant itself is beautiful. It's a perfect mix of elegant and trendy. Our server Akeel made excellent recommendations and was beyond attentive. We enjoyed "The Board", which was a helping of several things on the menu. Everything was amazing. Everything. We all had signature cocktails and loved them too. Will definitely be back!

Great new spot. Sat in the lounge, which is more intimate and has the full dining menu. Large waiting area with a bar before entering the lounge. Trendy ambiance, loungey vibe. Cocktails are on point. Particularly liked the Young Urban Professional and the Crimson and Clover. For food we enjoyed the crab cake rangoon and the squid ink tonnarelli. The crab cake rangoon was a unique twist on a traditional crab rangoon, nice flavors. Side dishes are substantial. We had the squash side as an appetizer, it's enough to share. Definitely plan to come back and try a few other things on the menu and maybe make it to dessert next time. Food tips: crab cake rangoon. Squid ink tonnarelli Drink tips: Young Urban Professional. Beautiful, upscale atmosphere. Lots of trees and cozy decor with a Mediterranean touch. Menu was more American/Italian style overall. High prices but large plates for sharing. Loved the bread service with melted butter inside and the freshest olives sprinkled with parsley and olive oil to dip. Excellent Caesar salad, nice touch with the fried capers. Crudo was prepared almost like a ceviche--very fresh and thinly sliced raw tuna. Crab Rangoon came with 4, a bit fishy in flavor, but filled well. Spicy rigatoni sauce was excellent; the pasta was cooked just right. Nice kick to it, but not overbearing. Steak was tender and cooked perfectly. Recommend the crispy potatoes (fried in duck fat) and Brussel sprouts (charred and drizzled with hot honey, so yummy). Can't speak for the other sides. Olive oil cake was extremely light and delightful with an orange twist and berry compote. Chocolate cake came more like mousse in a martini glass, pretty good. Was not blown away by any cocktails per-se, but inventive selections. Service was very friendly but very slow. They don't leave water for the table and provide the tiniest cups so I was constantly flagging down for refills. Hopefully they get the hang of things... best of luck!

https://www.olearestaurantnj.com/ Wow, from the walk into the restaurant to the ambiance within. It is spectacular. But what really stands out is the service, drinks and the outstanding quality and deliciousness of the food served. Definitely added to our rotation list. Beautiful New Addition to Spring Lake Olea is one of the newest restaurants to open in Spring Lake Heights, NJ located inside The Shore Club Hotel, and it's definitely a welcome addition to the area. The space alone is worth talking about -- the dining room is stunning, with soaring 15-foot olive trees that instantly set the tone for an elevated but still comfortable dinner. It's a great spot for celebrations, date nights, or anyone who loves a beautifully designed atmosphere. There are three distinct areas: the dining room, the more intimate lounge, and the bar, which has a vibrant energy and really solid cocktails. I love that all rooms are open until 2 AM, with the last dinner seating at 10:30 PM -- rare for this area and perfect if you like a later night out. The menu features Chef Bud Carter's signature steak, seafood, and pasta dishes, plus rotating weekly specials. Everything we tried was genuinely very good and well-executed. Highlights for me were the seafood dishes and the pasta -- flavorful, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared. A heads-up: reservations only release one month out and they go quickly, so book early if you have a specific date in mind. They do hold limited walk-in and bar seating, which is nice if you're feeling spontaneous. Overall, Olea is a gorgeous space with good food, a solid vibe, and a team clearly putting care into the experience. Definitely worth trying, and I'm excited to go back and explore more of the menu. Ambiance- pretty, cozy, smells like a hotel which I love, only small complaint, the chairs have very low backs service- Ana was great. She was attentive and helpful Food- overall it was very good. It is very expensive and so I may have expected a little more for the price. For example, the $80 filet comes completely alone on a plate. It was a good cut of steak and cooked nice but boring. The creamed kale tastes like eggnog which had mixed feelings at my table. The halibut was delicious. Best thing we ate was the churro crueler dessert.

We had an amazing anniversary at Olea! We had a special little nook reserved for us with welcome Prosecco waiting for us at the table. We ordered cocktails and tried the pickle martini. The herbs in the cocktails were too strong for me, but my husband loved it. The tuna crudo was absolutely delicious! The beef and bone marrow tartare melted in your mouth. Next time I would ask the chef to leave the chipotle mayo off the tartare. The scallops were perfectly seared. We will definitely return!

Starters: Love the complimentary house marinated olives to start--unique types and bread with olive oil. The tortellini soup on special was large and rich in flavor and creaminess. Very tasty. Fried burrata was excellently paired with prosciutto, peppers, among other accoutrements. Entrees: Horseradish salmon was the most tender, fall apart in my mouth I've ever had. My mom LOVED her chicken piccata. The mashed potatoes and veggies on the side were also so buttery and yummy. Dessert: The strawberry cake (forget the Italian name) for dessert was super light yet decadent. Chocolate cake just the same, not too heavy. It's a pricy place, but they offer 50% off entrees on Thurs (cash only) and prefixe menu before theater shows in town (before 6pm). BYOB off season / alcohol in summer. Plenty of free parking surrounding but summer may be a challenge.

I forget her name but blonde hair and a great tan and said she worked there last year also. I love the bright light coming through the windows and views depending on where you are sitting. Very quiet at first until it started filling up and then it gets a little noisy but we just blended in with the comfortable people surrounding us. The Angry lobster over squid ink linguini my husband couldn't stop raving about and he never raves about any restaurant dishes! All in all, everything was perfect like it was last year! Can't wait to make this a place we come to more often!!

We all ordered the Rodizio and were very happy we did. The hot and cold buffet offered a large selection of salads, vegetables and proteins (including meats!) as well as sides for the main course. We knew enough not to fill up with the carbs to save room for the meats. We would have been happy with just the buffet! The Rodizio came out hot, fast and nonstop. They come out first with chicken and pork, wait for the good stuff! The Pincanha was my favorite, along with the filet mingon and other steaks. The short ribs were chewy (maybe just a bad cut) and the lamb was gamey according to a guest - otherwise excellent. Try the grilled pineapple - very good. We had 3 large bottles of wine turned into sangria to 'die for'. Highly recommended. One thing I did not like was the bill included an automatic 20% tip (fine that's what I usually tip) but added another line for a tip. Maybe it's what they all do now but I believe 20% is generous. How many people didn't realize and tipped 40% by accident! Also strangely, they don't have voicemail, so if you call on a Tuesday (when they are closed) no machine picks up so you think they are out of business. That's a simple fix. I highly recommend Flames Brazilian Steakhouse and although it sounds expensive, it's no more than what you would pay at any other good restaurant. Well done.

We started with the bread, a focaccia, which was served with an olive oil that had a large roasted garlic in it. It was a delicious starter, and complimented our Caesar salad. The Caesar salad was 'different' - aren't they all? I've been experiencing very different types - the one tonight had a subtle dressing - with a subdued sweetness. The grated Parmesan and Breadcrumbs smothered the salad - when you see the picture, you'll understand. It was a good salad, however I would have preferred less grating and more dressing. Next up, the Waygu Meatballs, in a delicious San Marzano tomato sauce. The meatballs were excellent. I was mystified by the accompanying 'jar' of 'basil' ricotta. See attached picture-it's a large amount of ricotta - I tasted it - it was very creamy but the basil was faintly noticeable. I added a little to a meatball and it didn't enhance the 'bite' at all. I was embarrassed leaving this large jar of cheese. We shared the two entrees - the first, Sea Bass on a bed of mashed potatoes was cooked perfectly and had the most delicate taste. It was 'too delicate', if there is such a thing as- for they say, ' good fish, doesn't taste like fish '. However, the fish needed seasoning or sauce - one or the other, or both. The next entree was the mushroom house made ravioli - a tender pasta with a mushroom filling covered in a creamy, earthy mushroom sauce. We also ordered a side of sautéed wild mushrooms and added those to the ravioli - it was a wonderful dish.
