Went there for my birthday, we went a bit late 8:45pm so ambience was great and quiet, place looks very nice and well decorated. Food and drinks were good, a bit on pricey side but nothing crazy. Service was a bit slow, because was late and place was almost empty , there's no reason for service to be that slow, I think only one server was working which makes it hard to serve correctly the whole room even if it was almost empty. This is definitely a place that I will try again at a different time

I was super excited to give this restaurant a try! When I arrived I parked in the lot. I walked into a really nice restaurant where they also do weddings. They had Valentines Day room as well, which was supercute for the holiday. We were sat by a really nice hostess. Patrick was my server, and he was awesome! Billy, the manager, also introduced himself, and he was great. We started with appetizers, and I got the mussels, and my friend got the bacon and the crab cakes. We also had drinks that were the Raspberry Pizz Fling and the old fashioned. I really enjoyed the old fashioned but I didn't enjoy the mussels because the sauce wasn't great to me. I changed it to the clams, which were great. We then had our entrées of the Branzino and the shrimp scampi. My friend wasn't too fond of the Branzino because it needed a bit more seasoning. I really enjoyed the shrimp scampi dish. The sides of the mac and cheese and mashed potatoes were good as well. We then finished with dessert of the cookie skillet and the lava cake. Both were so good! I had a good experience!

Today we had a chance to visit Santa's Hide Away in Spring Lake! We had the most delicious dinner in one of New Jersey's most festive holiday restaurants. The attention to detail and all the decor made this a fantastic dining experience. Our holiday drinks were superb! The spicy honey margarita and tiramisu martini were excellent. Our apps were 10/10 and we loved our entrees! We drove over an hour away to come visit and it was worth the drive! We will be back

Sea Crest Grille is a fabulous restaurant, we love it here! Every time we dine at this restaurant it is a wonderful dining experience from start to finish. The Manager Kiernan welcomed us warmly and checked on us throughout the evening. He strives to create memorable experiences for guests, making them want to return over and over again. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, insta-worthy with a cozy and classy ambience that really enhances the entire experience. Our dinners were delicious! Everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The thick cut bacon was to die for and the smoky presentation was exquisite. Our tomahawk steak was impressive, a feast for the eyes and palate. It was tender, flavorful, juicy, and cooked to perfection. The truffle parmesan fries and pecorino creamed spinach made the perfect accompaniments to this scrumptious meal. Last but not least was our served table side bananas foster. It was a dramatic dessert presentation with a theatrical flair of captivating flames with warm and sweet flavors. Our server Michelle was friendly and attentive. She offered recommendations and suggestions and goes the extra mile to make sure you have a perfect night. Many thanks to Kiernan and his wonderful pstaff who went above and beyond to make our evening and dinner so special!

Came for Mother's Day dinner which turned out to be a prefix menu only. Was very surprised how empty it was. Was very disappointed with the options. The prefix menu was in no way a representation of their regular menu. On the regular menu there are so many seafood options: lobster, scallops, branzino, haddock, snow crab legs, clams, oysters, tuna (taken from website menu). All that and on the prefix menu there were 2 seafood options - coconut shrimp as an appetizer and salmon as an entree. So I would avoid this place during any holidays as the regular menu has so much more variety. Also the quality was just super low. A majority of our food came out cold/room temperature. It gave me an impression like everything was pre cooked and stuck on a plate then served. It was not worth $60 per person. For apps had coconut shrimp, bruschetta, and ravioli. Coconut shrimp were big, thinly breaded and came with a nicely balanced sweet sauce. Bruschetta was well toasted with a good mix of tomatoes, onions, and balsamic vinegar but nothing impressive. Ravioli was cold and sauce was bland. For entrees did the beef, pork, and salmon. The beef was not edible for me, very chewy and cold as ice. Sides: Sweet potato puree and Brussel sprouts were better than the beef. Brussel sprouts were my favorite, good char. Salmon was cooked well, very flaky with a yummy sweet sauce on top. Sides: Asparagus and mushrooms stuffed w broccoli & tomatoes were good but not hot. The pork itself was my favorite. It was cooked perfectly. It was the only hot item of the whole meal so seemed like it was made fresh. Tasted like it was basted in some sweet sauce that was delicious. Sides: Asparagus and parmesan covered potatoes were eh. For dessert did the flourless chocolate cake, cheesecake, and cookies with ice cream. Flourless cake was very dense with a low quality chocolate. Cheesecake was good only with the berries. By itself it was a bit sour. Cookies were good when you put ice cream on it to make them softer. My Santos tequila soda was well made and so was the may drink of the month Hot Honey Passion Fruit Margarita. The service was 10/10, Morgan thank you so much for the great service. Very attentive and caring. Other staff were so kind. Helped finding our way around since the restrooms are near the event rooms. The decorations were gorgeous, they had a fairy theme. You can see all the string lights, fairy postcards, clouds, and flowers. A cute area to take pictures. Even the bar was gorgeous. The main dining room did not have the theme, so check the bar area and off the bar dining area. Came in so excited and left disappointed. Shout out to the social media manager because their instagram promotes so much but after coming, leaves so much to be desired.

This place was BEAUTIFULLY decorated for Christmas. The decor was amazing from the lights and the fireplace, cannot ask for a better date night spot. The winter cocktails were so delicious and all the food I tried was so good.

Tiramisu martini (delish)

The food was very good. I got the tuna and it was cooked perfect. The goat cheese and beet salad was delish. My sister got the shrimp with crab pasta and it was very good and rich. My other sister got the salmon with vegetables and it was good perfectly and so fresh. We were offered complimentary smoked bacon. In addition the drinks were pretty good. I got a holiday margarita and asked for it a little less sweet. My sister got the tiramisu martini and it was delicious. Other drinks not pictured that were noteworthy is the holiday mint espresso martini that tasted exactly like the Olive Garden chocolate mints. So good. The dining area was very nicely set up and the bar was decorated so nicely for the holiday. Service was very fast and the waitresses were very nice.

Such a beautiful restaurant! Come here for the decor, stay for the food, service and drinks. Some food standouts: the bacon appetizer is quite memorable and is presented in a unique way. The sides we ordered were great - mac and cheese, fries, mashed potatoes, spinach. And everyone's steak was cooked to perfection. We had a ribeye, filet mignon and strip. The service here was also great. I noted on the reservation that we were here for a birthday and they added fun sparklers to the desserts. Additionally, there was a mixup with one of the drinks and they made sure to remove it from the bill. All around my family and I had a great experience here. I would highly recommend for a special occasion.

It's such a great place. Came here with the 5 we had an amazing time. The ambiance is beautiful, and the service is super friendly and attentive. The drinks are unique and delicous. The food is delicious too. We had a wide variety of things, but my favorite is the Browned Butter lobster Bisque, all the drinks , crab 6 the potatoes.

I absolutely loveee the sea crest grille! The people are always warm, helpful, and inviting while the ambiance is always to the nines. For almost every holiday, they create a pop up experience in their bar and lounge which is instagram worthy for a girls night out or date night. The food is always cooked to perfection, good size portions, and a mix of traditional meets fusion. Highly recommend going even just for a drink at the bar and an appetizer!

Honestly, one of the most beautiful restaurants when you first walk in! The bar is gorgeous, plenty of seating with the marble top and as soon as you walk in, it's stunning! The chandeliers are huge, gold and very tasteful as was the rest of the decor Our waiter was super attentive. The restaurant manager and even the bartender were all so helpful when it came to us ordering our drinks and food and also gave some amazing suggestions. The drinks were all to die for. I mean one after the other it just couldn't get any better. And all so creative and nothing like I've had before. I cannot wait to go back for happy hour just for the drinks! The food: really good! We ordered a lot of full; the portions are excellent but we were so full. Some of our favorites were the table side bacon, the scallops and the cookie skillet! The scallops you could tell were super fresh, perfectly cooked and the cream of spinach I got on the side was full of flavor. The bacon they roll out on its own GRILL! So cool in the presentation but also so delicious! Thick cut and full of deliciousness! The dessert: I mean I cannot tear myself away from a cookie skillet, I couldn't finished my meal but somehow finished all of that! Ended the evening with a Toblerone martini! Cannot wait to go back for date night or with the girls!

Caitlyn the waitress was amazing. Great food & atmosphere at a fair price. We got calamari for an app and it was very large & tasty.

Shrimp and crab scampi
Sarah R.

We had mixed feelings about our dinner here. Most of the food was GREAT (truffle mac n cheese, flatbread, shrimp scampi) but we were disappointed with the lackluster skirt steak. It had no flavor/seasoning despite being slathered in chimichurri sauce. It also happened to be overcooked. The dining room is classy/attractive but a bit stark and not cozy at all. No salt/pepper on any of the tables. The waitstaff was attentive and friendly but also too casual/unprofessional. It was a bit like the Wild West the night we were there. Our server told us she was having a bad night and unfortunately it showed. Another server caught eyes with us and rolled her eyes about the table she'd just been to. It was strange behavior for sure! I think Sea Crest is punching above their weight...if you're going to charge these kinds of prices, then you've got to back it up with the proper atmosphere and service. We had high hopes but were disappointed.

We chose to sit in the enclosed veranda at the front of the restaurant; Amelia's is located on Ocean Ave. and has some beautiful views! We started with a few cocktails - my partner got the Lavender Martini, which she said was very good. I got the Pineapple Margarita, which was excellent! I saw meatballs on the menu - I always order meatballs when having Italian cuisine (Amelia's represents itself as '...a blend of old school Italian and contemporary continental cuisine..'. They were some of the best meatballs I've ever had. Amelia's blends pork, veal and beef for its meatballs - they're tender and seasoned perfectly! The marinara was excellent and there was a dollop of ricotta to stir into the sauce. It was an epic appetizer! For our entrees, I ordered Wild Caught Shrimp Oreganata with mixed vegetables and garlic mashed potatoes. The shrimp were butterflied and quickly grilled - they had a plump, tender interior with a grilled exterior, in a delicious sauce. The potatoes were very good, and while I'm not a big fan of the mixed vegetables, they were good. My partner ordered one of the specials - the Lobster Capelinni. - 6 oz. of lobster on top of angel hair pasta with a delicious tomato-brandy sauce! We couldn't believe how much lobster was on the pasta - it was tender and very tasty! After 2 excellent entrees, we decided to try the desserts. Unfortunately, that was a mistake. I ordered the Carrot Cake (one of my favorite desserts) and my partner ordered the Chocolate Cake, one of her favorite desserts! My 'carrot cake' wasn't a cake but a conglomeration of icing and thick layers of 'fudge-like' cake. Visions of a fluffy, rich cake with freshly grated carrots and 'warm spices' flew out the window! My partners chocolate cake was dry and not moist at all - I've had Duncan Hines chocolate cakes that tasted better!! While the desserts were a big disappointment, the meal was excellent and we will return to Amelia's on our next visit to Spring Lake.

Starters: Love the complimentary house marinated olives to start--unique types and bread with olive oil. The tortellini soup on special was large and rich in flavor and creaminess. Very tasty. My mom LOVED her chicken piccata. The mashed potatoes and veggies on the side were also so buttery and yummy. Dessert: The strawberry cake (forget the Italian name) for dessert was super light yet decadent. Chocolate cake just the same, not too heavy. But I think we caught them on an extremely off night. We had a reservation and came in on time. We were told to sit down and that another waiter would come by to show us to our table. We waited for ten minutes before we were seated, and in that time another bigger party came in and were seated before us. Even when we were seated, the new waiter said he thought we were just waiting for appetizers, and didn't realize we even needed a table. Had we not said anything, we would have been waiting even longer to be seated even with the reservation. We quickly placed our drink and food orders, and this is when service continued to decline. It was clear that there were only two waiters for the smaller dinning room, and yet they were doing a little bit of everything. Our first waitress was also folding silverware, moving clean dishes back to the kitchen, and checking in on the entire dining room. Our second waiter was also the bartender, food runner, and table buser. Needless to say, they needed more hands on deck. I know they were doing their best, but an hour to get our food is really ridiculous. And in that time we were not checked on for water refills or just to ask if we needed anything. Even when our food came out, we had to stop one of the two waiters and ask about the food. Only then, after a few more minutes did they get the food from the kitchen. While not shown in the picture, we got the brussel sprouts and carrot appetizer. This was the only food item we were kind of disappointed with as we couldn't really taste any sriracha, and felt we could have made something similar at home. Other than that, when our three main dishes finally did come out, they were served hot and everything was cooked very well. We all really enjoyed the food we ordered. Really good, but also not out-of-this-world like the price and reviews suggested. In the end, the service was just extremely slow and the price of the food was very high (about $30 per person for three people plus two drinks about $15 each), making it very hard to justify the overall experience. And even though the food was really good, I would not say it was worth going through the extremely long wait.

Its on the water, so we waited for an outside table. We only waited about 25 mins on a very busy night (we were quoted 45) which I was pleased by. The tuna nachos were my favorite bite of the night. The plate was giant to share and the flavors were delicious. I got the shrimp and lobster pasta and if you are considering that, I would pass. The shrimp had a funny, almost lemon essense flavor. The lobster was tasty (can't really mess up lobster). The pasta however was mucky in my opinion. The pasta itself was broken so it wasn't easy to twirl and the flavor was just very bland. There was also a gross dirty napkin just sitting on the bar that was not attended to. At the table, I ordered their peach spritz. It was not spritzy and light as one would hope. It was extremely sweet and gloopy with syrup. Not refreshing. My friend had the strawberry mocktail and had to send it back due to its unpleasant taste. The waitress was pleasant and just took it off our bill. We ordered a dozen oysters. These oysters tasted flat like old gray dishwater. I think maybe the kitchen didn't bother to spot check quality. I think these were Blue Points, but they tasted like wet bathroom slippers. Next we had the clams. These were actually very good, but after the oysters, I was expecting very little. We then tried the crab cocktail. For $30, it was 3 tablespoons of crab on garnish lettuce. The crab was just so so, a bit dry, and totally not worth $30. We both decided to try the lobster bisque. They overloaded it with heavy cream. But the worst part was the garlic bread on top. Hard, chewy and clearly STALE. For the price and low quality, Marina Grille should be ashamed of themselves.

We started with the tuna pizza, an order of oysters, garlic shrimp, beet salad, and the Bibb salad. (Just a side note, they want you to place your starters and entrees at the same time). Everything came out in a reasonable time and was all very good. The Tuna pizza was not at all what I was envisioning but was a pleasant surprise both presentation and taste wise. The shrimp were interesting because they looked like they would be super flavorful, but just felt kind of flat. Both of the salads were delicious, I really enjoyed the Bibb and would highly recommend it. I had the Bluefin and it was really good, the portion size was fair and the fish was extremely fresh.
