Not a fan, but I haven't tried the DB crust yet. I ordered a pepperoni and mushroom pizza and was excited to try it because of the reviews online and here. First, the crust is paper thin and maybe this would have been okay if I didn't get takeout. The bottom was mushy from sticking to the cardboard and took on it flavor of the cardboard because it didn't have anything to separate it from the cardboard. The crust needs ventilation if traveling. Second, No need for extra cheese because it's layered thicker then the crust. This only makes the crust limp when trying to eat a slice. Third, price. This isn't a gourmet pizza, so I don't think you should be paying almost $20 for an x-lg pizza with only 2 toppings. Also, I was originally going to go for DB crust because of reviews online, but felt $30 was a but stiff. I might try this place one last time, but most likely not because of cost. read more

I ordered a 10lb pizza, it had way to much cheese, and not enough vegetables. I couldn't even finish what was on my plate.

Always delicious! My favorite restaurant in Ft. Wayne. We ordered cheesy mushrooms (a must of you like mushrooms!), a sausage roll, and a large double crust deluxe pizza. The pizza has an entire later of cheese between the two crusts and is the signature dish. The sausage roll and cheesy mushrooms are my other favorites. The service is always detail oriented and very friendly, no matter how busy they are. read more

Pizza rocks..double crust is pizza nirvana.... Stromboli comes with a nicely seasoned sauce..never quite sure what I want. owners almost always there too.. Normally one of my favorite places to eat a delicious thick pizza. Tonight it was warmer in the dining room than the 85 degrees outdoors. Yes they had a residential ceiling fan above the table, but it was just moving warm humid air. I asked the waitress, who was kind, if she could adjust the temperature a little bit. She asked her manager and they said that nobody is allowed to touch the thermostat. To make matters worse, when I went to pay, I noticed an industrial type fan blowing noticeably cooler air behind the counter. The pizza was good, just like usual. We had moved out of town and been wanting to stop by Oley's to get one of their great double crust pizzas next time we were in Fort Wayne. Well we did stop at the Oley's on Coliseum which were passing and OMG what a mistake. Ordered the DELUXE Big 10. ALL it had on it was extremely over ground sausage. And where was all the rest of the toppings? Sure wasn't on the deluxe pizza we ordered. So sad. Found out that Oley's WAS NOT affiliated with the one on Hwy 24. Next time we will take the extra time and go the the ORIGINAL Oley's on Hwy 24. Where you get the greatest pizza in Fort Wayne. Are pigs will enjoy the rest of are 16" pizza we will never eat. read more

The pizza is the absolute best, the atmosphere is really nice, there could be some music playing inside the restaurant, but that's no big deal. The only problem with pizza is that it takes a while to cook, but that makes you more hungry for the pizza, I recommend the big pizza read more

This is my favorite pizza anywhere, and a place my husband and I find we must stop when we visit Fort Wayne! The pizza here is so good that Oley's was our first stop after we became engaged. We always get a large deep dish, so that we can bring extra home to Indianapolis to enjoy throughout the week. If you eat in, the restaurant has a nice ambiance, with a large fish tank that is entertaining while you wait for your pizza. The only somewhat negative experience I have had here happened recently when someone (not a customer--this person did not order any food) panhandling hung out on the bench by the counter (right in front of the cashier!) and asked customers ordering pizza specifically for dollar bills and change if they did not have bills, sometimes twice. This was annoying to say the least, and if I were Oley's management, I would have removed this individual from the premises, but they didn't seem to care or do anything about it. This does not change my opinion of their out-of-this world pizza, and I will continue to come back again and again for years to come! read more

This pizza sucks. We got the double crust after a friend recommended it. They skimped majorly on the toppings, the cheese tasted weird, and the crust was dry. Even the sauce sucked. Not worth the $20 I paid, that's for sure. read more

We are regular customers of Oleys Pizza on Coliseum Blvd. but experienced a very cold shoulder from the girl who answered the phone last Saturday night. Our clock showed 9:13 when I called to order a pizza to be picked up. When I started to say why I was calling, I was quickly cut off and was told, I'm sorry, we are all shut down. I said "the website says your open until 10:00" only to be told in a very curt voice, "we stop taking orders at 9:15". I said "but my clock says it's 9:13". She very rudely said "sorry, but mine says 9:15" and that was that. I felt she was very rude and should have taken the order. There was absolutely no friendliness in her manner whatsoever. It sounded like a young person who couldn't wait to leave on a Saturday night. I won't say I'll never go back to Oleys, but it will be a long time before I think about it again. A little kindness can go a long way and Oleys needs to learn that. read more

The BEST chicago style pizza, anywhere. Light appetite? Try the honey wheat low carb crust. Amazing yeasty, lightly sweet. Very nice.
